I came there because I used a lavender shampoo in a Vegas hotel (Cosmopolitan) which I like a lot. The price is quite high, but I love this product:) unfortunately you can not buy it online (I am from Germany). As this product has an expiry date, I can not buy it on stock:(
I love this place. I've been going there on and off my whole life. Charming atmosphere in a quaint shop. Great goodies everywhere you look. A nice change from the chain outlets. I remember going there as a young child with my mom. They have wonderful products you just can't find anywhere else. I love it!
This pharmacy rocks!!! The two guys who work here treat everyone as people not just another customer. They have a compassionate human touch that really makes you feel welcome. I drive 20 minutes from the valley just to come here. My last experience involved them going out of their way to help me sign up for a program that offset the costs of my prescriptions.
Excellent experience. Unique store is totally different from typical chain retailers these days. Full of interesting things but still calm and peaceful. Friendly and knowledgeable staff helped w my xmas shopping for my whole family. CEO was behind the counter wrapping gifts which shows his unparalled commitment to the company and to customer service.

Lovely Selection of Products both Beauty/Skin and Makeup however, Their Return Policy is garbage for CERTAIN BRANDS so be aware of what you buy and make a very definite choice.
The shop is chock full of goodies! They offer many of the cosmetics you'd find at a dept store, but with some hard to find brands. Also, they offer pharmacy products too. I love exploring the shop and inevitably end up splurging on something I never knew I always wanted!

I could spend a small fortune in this store, the best face products money can buy. The C.O. Bigelow line was introduced to me when I worked at Bath and Body works. Sadly they dropped so much of their line, I wound up just going to the source of all goodness in skin care. C.O.Bigelow is one of the oldest apothecaries around, anywhere, this store is still in it's original location, and going strong, which says something for sure. They also carry the only brand of sunscreen that does NOT make me break out, by Vanicream. Yes, you not break out from it. Maybe a tad pricey, but trust me, WAY worth it!

C.O Bigelow isn't just a drugstore it's a rare gem of the west village and not owned by a major corporation. They have everything from high end brands like Deborah Lippman and Mavalia nail polish to Nivea cream / Burt's Bees cream. They have a slew of european beauty brands but also basic things - I love going in there every now and then to see what's new and I found the staff extremely helpful and polite.
I stayed at a hotel in Lancaster PA that had some of their lotions in the bathroom, I haven't looked back since.
All of the candles are so elegant and fragrant. The shop is small, with narrow aisles and can be overwhelming but the staff is friendly. Beautiful job wrapping the candles. Location is close to the ACEFV and Path trains.

This eclectic mad pharmacist shop is the go to place when you are in need of unique and hard to find supplements, brands and products. I'm not sure how long it has been around, but judging from the photos it may be a historic landmark.

A haven for product junkies! While, yes...it IS a pharmacy it has one of the most extensive collection of drugstore, niche and popular brands crammed into one location. The shelves are packed with goodies waiting to be discovered and the sales rep usually leave you alone but are more than willing to help. Every time, I visit the store I walk out with a small fortune of products. My only qualm, is that some of the items that are not as popular has small layer of dust. Which is why I tend to stay away from those products because they might be past their prime.

First started using products from C.O. Bigelow about 2015. I was able to purchase them at a local store here in Florida. Knowing the background of this small Family company that has been around since 1838 is unreal. I recently placed an online order and couldn't be more happy with the delivery. Arrived quick was packed secure so there were no leaks. Company provided free samples of products I currently have not tried. The body wash from C.O. Bigelow is superior to anything else I've tried. Not only does it smell great but my skin looks and feels better. Using high quality ingredients does make a difference. This place is a classic. It's rumored Edison, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Mark Twain shopped at Bigelow's. After trying just one product, it makes perfect sense. After getting my shaving cream here once, I couldn't get it at any other drug store or pharmacy. Definitely worth a try.
I don't know what I was expecting when I got here but this is straight up just an old school pharmacy. You can get everyday items and your prescriptions filled there as well.
Simply put, this is one of the best places in NYC. Pharmacists are so nice and helpful (as is everyone who works there), the product selection is fantastic, and it s a beautiful place with great history. I am so glad I moved all my Rx here. They are also wonderful with my baby son s reflex meds and always ensure we have the proper info to submit for insurance. I love coming here.
Their selection of beauty produces and regular drug store items are great. However, the pharmacy was such a painful experience. I waited for more than 40 minutes to get generic eyedrops that didn't need special formulation or dosage. I usually use Capsule and wanted to give Bigelow a shot, never again.

There is an informed front counter where they really know their stuff. The other pluses are a quality beauty and makeup counter in an Beautiful historical building. Even though I moved out of manhattan I still use them because I know I can trust them.
Went to the store CO Bigelow store to get CO Bigelow brand items. They had lots of other branded products, but barely anything of their own line. Walked out with nothing because I realized it would be easier to just order what I wanted online. Makes no sense.
Amazingly well curated selection of time tested toiletries. They have things here that have been around forever but you can't seem to find in the big drug stores.

The is not your typical pharmacy! It is a bit on the pricey end, but you will find luscious items from all over the world. It's like shopping on a world tour once you are inside. The owner likes to bring items that he finds on this travels in Europe. A great spot for gifts and when you want to give yourself some fancy things.
C.O. Biegelow isn't your typical pharmacy - it's a wonderland of hard to find brands, vast selection, and sometimes whimsical finds. They carry typical pharmacy products in the back, but in the front you can find jewelry, hair accessories, candles, travel goods, and much, much more. They also carry a great selection of brands for everything from nailpolish (including Deborah Lipman and Butter) to hair care (Mason Pearson brushes) and anything else you could hope for. The sales-people are very friendly and helpful.
I walked in a had polite friendly service even though I'm an out of towner who doesn't know how the prescription services run here. The woman at the counter was kind and explained clearly and offered to text me when my prescription was in and ready to pick up. Less than two hours after the script was sent in they messaged me at 7.30 at night to tell me I could pick up! Great service in a quirky and cute apothecary.
Walking into this place makes me feel like I'm stepping back in time to the 50s. It's refreshing. Unlike the chain drug stores, C.O. stocks more unique brands of skin care options. I can get lost here for hours. Worth checking out.

I have learned that I need their night balm for my daily use. When the seasons change I get skin that peels and flakes. Their # 306 is my favorite night balm and is the only product to quickly fix this issue. I am not a makeup wearing person so I just needed something simple that works. So I purchased several so I'll never run out again. Plus the freebies I got with my order made for a nice bonus.
It's not a stylish store, but the items are varied. The staff are also friendly. In Korea, I bought a lot of lip balms as souvenirs because I can only buy them directly. The price is not cheap.
Great customer service and chock full of high quality unique fragrances from European and local parfumeries. A great place to browse.
