very beautiful place well site near the revere richelieu. BRAVO. Thank you
I was sceptical at first to return there since the renovations, we gave it a shot and the quality of the meals is exactly as it used to be, if not better. We had an awesome experience and we'll definitely come back.
The place is welcoming the service is impeccable the fabulous room
Very beautiful enchanting site ... I remove a star for the prices which are high enough for the quality of the meals ...
Dinner show - highly appreciated. Supper very good, except dessert: pudding unemployed past date, very hard. How about profiteroles or a piece of pie.
Comfortable. Building and rooms a bit dated. Friendly staff & service. A bit expensive.
Excellent service. Staff very welcoming and courteous.
I begin to say that it is good as beautiful place welcomes the room very clean ... as we have the package Sunday dinner 4 services bedtime breakfast (a suggestion no tablecloths or placemats on the tables at dinner) very good food, good service .... and so give who had a wedding there he tells us the pool closes at 6.00 hrs he could warn when you reserve .... its will be very appreciated .... lunch good food but served cold (suggestion small peanut butter jam will be welcome) a big thank you to waitress waiters for their good work.
Following a visit this summer on the terrace where we had problems with the service I was invited by Mrs. Sylvie Barette to communicate with her. The latter apologized for our bad experience and invited us to return More
Quiet place with beautiful scenery, good service, indoor pool and good food;)!
Very nice hotel, excellent food, friendly staff and very nice stay.
If you are looking for the "hight class" ... the chic ... the impeccable service ... an enticing gastronomy ... desserts to turn heads ... a beautiful and enchanting decor ... welcoming rooms and Breathtaking ... look no further you have found the gem.
Wedding ... office party ... receptions or a romantic weekend ...
I love this place on the edge of the Richelieu. In summer, you can have a drink and even a meal on a terrace overlooking the river. On occasion, you will meet the friendly Michel Barrette, since this luxury inn is also his residence. There is a car museum, dinner shows with comedians.
A super charming hotel clean and super romantic, the food is excellent, I will return
Living close by to this place, I've heard so much of the Spa Givenchy. The moment came where I had to do Renos at my house and we had to sleep out of the house. I called almost 3 weeks in advance letting staff know I'll be with 2 kids and they'd have school the next morning. They gave us room 201. Dont Ever take room 201 ! The singer : chansonnier was literally in our room singing the night away! At around 9pm..I called the lobby to find out what time the singer would stop singing and they told me 11h30pm. They did offer to put is in a further room but at 9pm with 2 grumpy kids the task wasnt easy.
Anyhow...they could of planned this better and the fact of crossing the dining room packed with guests to get to the pool wasnt the greatest of feelings. Place is a bit dated and doesnt live up to expectations.
Really a superb place. Small problem. They should set up a place for the bar only for the guests of the bride and groom, because when you are a simple customer and you have the taste to relax and there are fifty or a tentraine of people it is very unpleasant to eat his meal accompanied by a party animal. But for the rest, hat.
We stayed there the weekend of May 17th. And it was excellent. Although the rooms are decorated in a style that is more or less our age, (35 years old), everything is clean and well maintained, staff very courteous and welcoming, when you book a room and go to the show, it reserves the Places already, no need to queue. The room is superb, intimate, with table service. Just light the little sign on the table that turns red and someone comes to take your order. Affordable price. We were very satisfied overall and we will certainly go back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful terrace.
Very beautiful place. We were there for a wedding. The chapel nearby facilitates travel. The quality of the room is exceptional!
Comfortable rooms and breathtaking views of the Richelieu and Mont St-Hilaire
Dinner theater. The ACDC music coming out of the badly adjusted speakers for dinner. Very raw, extremely long table service and cold food. The service was so negligible that we left before even seeing the specatcle.
Beautiful rooms exellent service and gourmet meal very very good I advice this place to all
Sacred Michel a good show a good lunch what to ask for better
Disappointing in terms of serving breakfast this morning, the choice is disappointing considering the price and quality.
First experience at this hotel. We had a first class service. The room was very clean. Beautiful view of the Richelieu River. Meals, Dinner and lunch, very good with impeccable service. I recommend this property for all kinds of occasions.
The friendliness of the staff, the service, the 3-course meal, the pinthe of beer on special before 19:00, the visual when seated on the terrace of any beauty.
Great place for an event the waiters/waitresses and the maitre D wow just wow
We stayed here on Friday and Saturday nights on Grand Prix weekend, travelling from Toronto. The hotel is relatively close to the city, and lots of places (restaurants, etc) within a short drive for those who want to remain away from Montreal. Not a prime spot for kids just because of limited activities for them, but they will enjoy the indoor heated pool. Even the most affordable room was spacious, well appointed, and reasonably priced. If you're into collectibles, there are a few interesting artifacts from James Dean's car to Maurice Richard's contract. The only thing to watch out for is if your room is in the building with the reception area and there is an evening event - the bass from the music carries through the rooms a bit and while it didn't bother my family much, others may be sensitive to this especially if you are early to bed. We will definitely stay there again.
I went there at least 5 times, unfortunately my opinion was the last time I went there ..
I put my note especially on the coter restoration ...
I had reservations in the holiday season .. I would have liked to be informed that there were several office parties because I would have put my stay down at another date it was noisy.
I was there to pay for a moment of relaxation ..
The next day the buffet lunch I was expecting was over, I'm open to a new formula anyway .. it's okay except that there was not a wide choice of menu and my plate was unfortunately more that ordinary, (it tastes good ... but like elsewhere)
I had a cheese omelette so I had a cheese omelette .. no berries or little potatoes or ... NOTHING !! DISAPPOINTING !!
My last experience will be that I will not go back ..
I wish you a better one if you go there ..
Super first time that I have supper with the show and I loved it .. in addition to a nice surprise with Jean Claude Gelinas and Michel Courtemanche who add her to Dominic Paquet's show
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The view from the balcony in the room was beautiful. The rooms are very nice too. The staff was courteous and friendly. The pool was also very nice, the only problem was that we had to go through the dining room to get there. There were robes provided which you could not really use to get to the pool.
Awsome..food, drinks,sevice, room, view...loved all of it!!
Pleasant room overlooking the river very quiet place for a well deserved relaxation. Dinner and lunch were excellent. Service at the reception, the restaurant and the impeccable terrace, to recommend we will return!
Very nice place! And I can not wait to meet my "Idol" Michel Barrette!
Beautiful place, great food, impeccable service, very welcoming staff. A 4 course evening meal with good quantities and a wonderfully delicious apple pie! One tiny detail: they serve corn syrup rather than maple syrup for lunch, which I found unfortunate. But I warmly recommend this nice little place!
Pleasant atmosphere on the edge of the Richelieu River. Flawless table service. Fine wines, gourmet meal.
Nice hotel, correct soundproofing (no more) probably due to the connecting door.
I did not use the services but just a visit and I am convinced
Clean front desk service great restaurant needs improvement
Very nice and clean. Place was great except you get treated poorly when the find out you don't speak French.
Only positive during our stay, I recommend it to all those who want to drop in a beautiful place near the Richelieu. The staff is really courteous and attentive.
Beautiful place, excellent meal and service. On the other hand, we were a group of more than 100 people and our table was at the back of the room. We did not hear the moderator. Was the sound system defective?
Very nice and welcoming. I return as soon as possible.
Wonderful place. Our business party was a success Thank you !!
I only went to the restaurant and not to the hotel, the service is exceptional and the menu is just as good. All in front of a view of the Richelieu River.
What a beautiful experience we had my wife and me in this enchanting site. With an incredible view of our suite, a beautiful salt-water indoor pool, a little lounging and sunbathing area, a chapel for the newlyweds and great food.
We had our table on the beautiful terrace which is amazing. A singer was performing that night and we were able to dance slows. The food was sublime too. An experience to renew.
Love this hotel! Stayed one night en route to Quebec. Bedroom is just lovely and the shower with its multitude of nozzles and sprays was just the tonic to wake you up. The view from our bedroom with its balcony was a big plus. A big hello to the staff who were just smashing. We arrived around 18:00 and just ate at the bar. Both bar snacks and wine were top notch. Sitting in the restaurant for breakfast overlooking the river and terrace on a warm sunny day was just sublime. We're so glad we're found this gem of a hotel. If you decide to stay here, you will not be disappointed.
Really an excellent restaurant ... and a beautiful terrace facing the Richelieu
Manifique terrace, impeccable service and delicious food with beautiful presentation.
Very nice place from the outside it's not super beautiful but inside it's another matter there too there are beautiful packages and it is located on the edge of the Richelieu river beautiful place and you can go visit the Michel Barrette museum without having reservations it's great I'm going to go back for sure
I came here by speedboat. I only ate dinner on the terrace overlooking the river. View in the rays of the setting sun very charming. Service very good and delicious dish and desserts. Time is made by the singer with not average voice. You can listen to songs of well-known performers or consider music as a nice background. It seems to me that the rest should also be of a high standard.
We went for Sunday brunch. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. What an enchanting site! We will be back soon.
Well, I would have liked to give more stars, but frankly, I was very disappointed at arrival, it need better services and more.
When you arrive, you have to park across the street, then up the stairs with luggages to check in counter, then back down the stairs and then up hill to the next building, more stairs, and a not automatic door, and more stairs, like 25 to 30 stairs narrow and stinky, we were in the luxurious part of the hotel, it really did not feel like it, then the room, it was the largest room, very spacious,
Although the room is terribly set, to my opinion, the coffee is at the entrance, no water near it or even garbage can for tea bags or coffee or else,
The bed was comfortable, the shower was awesome, very nice shower, the glass sinks, double, both cracked one very much cracked, then the jet tub kept stopping while in use after about 7 minutes, and suddenly an hour later would start again while empty???
The fireplace did not work, it was never mentioned but at check out when telling them about,
It is a beautiful place and location super quiet at night and gorgeous view it need better management.
It has a lot of potential.
Nice quiet place near the richelieu awesome wedding location
We had lunch at the restaurant. The food was really good. It was a really nice day and it was a bit busy so the service was really slow.
Very good supper with good show well amused thank you by
Good price but no elevators and most facility was in renovation when we where there.
We recently visited this place and Stayed for 3 Nights. This Hotel is very clean and Nice. Whole family enjoyed with resort style stay.
I would recommend this any one who wants to enjoy and relax.
Very disappointed with our experience ... We came here for our honeymoon; NO WELCOME, not even a congratulation nothing (even though my wife was still wearing her wedding dress.) Luxury suite with therapeutic bath barely big enough for two ... Non-functional fireplace ... Incessant noise coming from the show (a couple who had left when we arrive because of the noise) reception and suite not in the same lodge. No valet for the parking that is on the other side of the road or the motorists roll at a crazy speed, no service to the rooms, museum in renovation. for James Dean's car and bike and the miniature car collection, but for $ 300 a night, I would have preferred a good service rather than seeing the toy collection of a 50 year old child ...
Very nice clean place very good puf impeccable service
