The check engine light came on on my wife's Golf TDI. The local VW dealer, who had just done a major service for $1,000, could not look at it for two weeks even though the car was off the road. BWA Auto squeezed the car in on two days noticed, because it was off the road, and reset the fault for very little cost. They also advised what we should do if the problem occurred again, explaining that it might be a step by step process if the issue continued to occur. Absolutely perfect response that got my wife car back on the road very quickly and efficiently.

Tim and the guys at BWA Auto are extremely knowledgeable and provided me with outstanding customer service and pricing when I recently had my BMW M2 in for some exhaust work. I had to drive over from the city and the fact that they were able to stick to the advised timeline and provide me with the choice of either a loan car or a drop-off and pick-up from Sevenhills Station was a godsend!!

I took the car of my 17year old son for service and changing breaks ,end up having missing bolt form his wheels and another one loose, it is very dangerous especially if your 17 year old kid will drive it with limited experience of driving.
I confront Bob the owner and he took full responsibility and talked to his Michanic that was in charge of my car.
Evan that Michanic been told off but his negligence could cost a big impact in our lives.
The car been returned to shop and been checked again for safety and putting the missing bolt.
I suppose it was a learning experience for me and them as where to take my car and how careful they should be when it's come to safety.

So be cautious everyone.

Great team who will service your German car without emptying your bank account. Highly recommended.

16.10.2019 - Had to have a water pump replaced on my 2015 GLA 250. Quote from Mercedes Parramatta $1868 and they took 5 days to provide it with my car in their workshop. BWA provided a quote in half an hour and completed the work the following week, genuine parts and all, for $1249. Thanks Bob and Tim.

Wouldn't recommend, not very helpful, wouldn't even think of any solutions over the phone and wouldn't even think about booking my Porsche in. If you have a Porsche goto Autohaus Hamilton instead, they're much more helpful.

Don't take anything less than a brand new Porsche to these guy's or you will be sorely disappointed (I took a BMW!). I was recommended by a friend and disappointed to find an uninterested owner whose idea of customer service was a joke.

I wouldn't expect a job to be done for free, nor would I expect an answer to a difficult to source fault instantaneously. However, what no one expects when greeted is an arrogant and short tempered response to any question that was posed.

There are many good European mechanics available. Unless you can't find another, don't go here (even if it is convenient at the time like it was for us) unless you're looking to get psyched up for a fight later that day...

BWA Auto provide mechanical services for European cars such as Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes, BMW and Porsche. Bob, Tim and his team are all very skilled and they use the same diagnostic tools and techniques as dealers. They also offer a courtesy car service

Honest, reasonable pricing and quick. Not much to complain about really.

I thought I had a problem once (squealing brakes), took it in, and they didn't even charge me for the assessment as there wasn't really anything wrong (squealing went away after a week of driving and that was about 6 months ago).

Please Do not trust this butcher with your expensive dream car, After servicing my Porsche 911 They failed to diagnose a simple problem which resulted in a major fatal engine blowout. which cost me more than $150k. They have no idea how to service and maintain a Porsche. Do your self a favour and service your hard earned dream car to a Porsche dealer and save your self from heartache and from these butchers.

Had a bad experience with BWA. I pulled out the job because they tried to create jobs leading to $2000 to $3000 without giving me a quotation or breakdown of this cost. The shop doesn't even remember they were the one that fitted the wiring for its front headlight (right side) in April 2014. Worst, they tried to create a scenario by falsely accusing me that apparently I hit one of their cars with my brand new Nissan, when in fact, the situation he orchestrated in his mind (possibly in an attempt to seek money from me) did not even occur. Bob backed out when his staff interfered to say, it was a different car, not my car. I am completely disappointed to think the first time this shop convinced me to leave the car with them in April 2014, I gave in to Bob's request to give BWA a good review. However, my second visit (safety check & roadworthy) was a complete disappointment. Hence, my negative feedback.

Funny how BWA escalated the issue in relation to my car when NRMA motorserve signed its roadworthy for a heaps lesser amount, 2 days after I pulled out my BMW car from BWA. I only asked BWA for essential service (safety check) and roadworthy but BWA intends to overhaul the car. BWA asserted they will only proceed with the work and issue a roadworthy if I spend $2000 to $3,000. Well, it only costs me $277 to get a roadworthy with NRMA Motorserve. And none of what BWA outlined on their list was ever brought up by NRMA with the exception of the right headlight issue which NRMA fixed right away.

BWA also claimed that the windshield wiper is unserviceable yet NRMA fixed it. I even sought another opinion from another shop also located in Seven Hills, when I asked them to fit the roll-on mesh on the back of my car. There was no issue and my car was released within the day.

Contrary to BWA's assertion, the BMW car I have is well maintained over the years. It has full service record from the date of acquisition. The issue in relation to the headlight was, as I suspected, was based from the time BWA replaced/installed the headlight in April 2014. That's why a week after it was installed by BWA, I received an unexpected call from Bob to ask me if the car was okay? I found that extremely odd. It became crystal clear to me now why and what that call was about.

With the recent experience I had with BWA, I was the one who pulled out the job (not BWA) because I find their charges unreasonable and/or blown-up. Bob asserted that I should be thankful for helping me out the first time (headlight issue), to which I responded, that was not free service. I paid him more than $1,000 so how can that be classified as 'help'? Bob was even yelling at me over the phone when I was questioning the cost ($2000 to $3000) to get a roadworthy. To shut him up, I told him that I am pulling out my car. BWA was not even willing to give me a quote but expect me to spend $2000 to $3000 just to get a roadworthy?

And, just as when I am about to leave, in an attempt to possibly extort money from me, Bob came up with a false accusation that apparently I collided my Nissan car with one of their cars parked on the street. The other staff stopped him because if his contention was true, he needs to come up with a proof. For instance, there should be a dent, scratch etc on either or both cars involved. It's ridiculous to raise such accusation just because I pulled out my car. I looked at Bob and shook my head.

When I left BWA, I then drove to the Blacktown Police Station and reported this incident. I had the police to physically inspect my Nissan car. The police confirmed that there was no evidence of collision whatsoever, and that it could just be a malicious attempt to make money seeing that I pulled out my BMW to take elsewhere.

BWA kept bragging about the number of years they are in business including the number of clients they have. I'm pretty sure that if they have treated their clients the way BWA had treated me, they will do exactly what I did - take their business elsewhere and leave BWA a negative review.

I had my Porsche serviced at BWA. The staff and Tim are quite friendly and honest on their job. They are not the cheapest in Sydney though you can trust them more than mechanics from the dealership. If you own a VW, Audi or Porsche, I'd strongly recommend to consider their service.

I have been taking my 964 for the past 5 years to BWA. During this time i have had a full engine rebuild and spent much $$$ on all the issues that come with this car (luckily its gone up in value). Porsches are a tricky business, you cannot take them to a non specialist mechanic, i have found BWA to be upfront, honest and easy to communicate with. More importantly they stand behind their work. Its a long drive out, but they supply you with a loan car (who else does that??).
