The resort is great for kid's, plenty to do, they especially loved the pool & slides, couldn't get them out. They also loved the funfair. The only negatives were the queues for the acts, puddles everywhere (drainage not good) & the dining package, it was like a feeding frenzy most day's!! We asked for ground floor rooms near the facilities but were put upstairs, they did move us on request but we were then put at the back so a longer walk in the rain. Would definitely go back again but would be in the summer.
It doesn't matter how old you are you can still have a great time here. Plenty to do and the entertainment is for all ages. The food in the various eating areas is great. so give it a try and happy holidays.
Had so much fun!!!!! My son loves it here. Thank you to all the Butlins crew who make it fun and something to remember!!
Day visitor; Most attractions were closed when we wanted to use them, but the pool was very enjoyable.
Not got any reason to complain at all, great service and entertainment
I love Butlins Always a wonderful holiday
Had a nice time. But felt it was aimed more for children 8 and under. We have 2 teenager's. Bought passes but most thing's that they would want to do you had to pay for. So that let it down for me. If you're buying passes for the entire family. Everything should come under that.
Stayed at gold accomadation for the weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended for quality family time!!
Could use an update also dad was banned from all sites for no reason
Had a fantastic weekend away at Butlins Skegness. All staff very friendly and great entertainment. Will definitely be going back!
Great family and adult only breaks staff were very friendly and help food was great
Came to Butlins for Christmas the rooms were fantastic clean and plenty of space . The Christmas decorations and fireworks were fantastic food was good and plenty of it. Would recommend to anyone. By the way staff great too and very friendly
Brilliant place for the whole family, with loads of thing's to see and do. Highly recommended.
Great for a week away, recommend half board really makes you appreciate not having to wash up, and the food is good quality if a little samey. Entertainment for the week is good with lots of free shows during the day with optional extras which you can pay for, night time entertainment is good with plenty of seating for everyone although this year I thought he shows were lacking something, been going for 30 years and I think this year was the only time I have been a little let down by it. There's normally a celebrity or someone that relatively famous but this year there wasn't! The kids enjoyed it especially the meet and greet with the skyline gang. And with the funfair being free. There's always something for the kids to do. With the town a few minutes drive in one direction (or a short bus ride) it's close enough for a day trip and engolmelds the other direction with the market and fantasy Island there's something for everyone.
Visited two years ago with my family and grandchildren for my grandaughters dance competition it was a fantastic four day holiday and scegness was a great place to visit loads to do and plenty of shops
You only lay for your room everyting else is overpruced to use. The onsite resturants are to expensive ti use. Has onsite supermarket. My room upin arruval was durty and had soiling and urine stains in the carpet also wuth the smell of urine in the air. Car parking is a joke. Wont book here again.
Fun activities for the kids. Good family swimming pool. Some questionable behaviour from kids and adults alike...
Brilliant place so clean and well looked after lots to do and staff are helpful
Again an amazing family holiday. Can't fault the action packed days. If you want to do something from 1000 to 2200 then this is the place for you. One downside, there is so much to do there isn't enough time in the day.
Came for esf football tournament, it was very well organised. The pool at Butlins is excellent but opening times a little inconvenient. The beach is lovely but again the gates are closed roo early. The fair has a few free rides but children have to be 137cm to go on alone. Only a couple are free and you need to pay for others. Drinks and food are not cheap but food is nice. Good apartments are well laid out for 2 families to share. All in all we wood go again but not for a main holiday only a short break.
Absolutely fantastic for kids and adults so much entertainment to pick from
I booked to go on a 90,s adult weekend after saving up with a group of us and looked forward to it we got there things were good had a few beers put some music on that was friday night went out saturday day drank a few pints went back to More
The land that covid forgot... the room was sealed when we got here saying it had been deep cleaned then sealed.. The floors are black ( after 10 minutes my grandsons feet were black) the kitchen, bathroom and living was gross. We complained and was told the cleaners cant enter due to the fact we might give them covid ( wrong way round i think) around the site the is no social distancing with either guests or staff and no mask enforcement if i make it through this HOLIDAY without catching covid it will be a wonder.
Amazing Xmas new year pantos. Staff red coats slightly bullish . Accommodation clean food was high quality . Biggest disappointment guest putting table displays out at 1am on morning leaving no where to sit for the show. When many other guest complained nothing staff could do touching property
Don't be put off by Hi di hi. I went for a music festival weekend out of season. No kids and all the rides were closed. The food was extremely good with a very wide choice, e.g English, carvery, Italian, Chinese, plus a wine list. The rooms were say Premier Inn standard. The staff very friendly and efficient. The staging of the music over 4 stages was well run, although obviously you couldn't watch everything. Saw some great acts, had to make tough choices.
Great adults music wk end .staff great and very clean .well inpressed with all the extra cleainv facilities put in place during this corons virus .well done butlins .
Comfy beds all round. Weather was great for the time we were there with happy friendly staff throughout.
Lots to do for kids but accommodation needs modernisation. It's apparently being updated this year and there will be no basic accommodation only silver and gold. Hope this doesn't mean price increases!
Fantastic ,last visited 26 years ago.Did not fail to provide an amazing experience
Good but got put in a smaller room then they moved us then we got there and fridge was leaking all in all good but lost some of the day due to these issues
we have been visiting butlins every year for the last 8 years without any problems and have loved it every time apart from this year, i am disabled and had an altercation with one of their managers who threatened to make me leave the site and told me i shouldnt be allowed to go anywhere on my own because of my disablement, this really hurt me and left me distraught, i went to complain at customer services (witch where fantastic with me) but as i also suffer severe anxiety after seeing the manager again i had to cut my stay short i booked fri-fri but had to leave last night because of the feeling of unrest, my wife and two small children had to also cut short there stay, i hope this dosent happen to anyone else.
We stayed in the new style silver apartment me my partner and my 22 month old It was fantastic for my 22 month old the apartment was modern clean and good value for money Tots fair was good my kid loved it free rides She liked the soft play area as well and the swimming baths There's a lovely beach here Plenty of entertainment for kids and adults at night restaurants are nice a little pricey but it is butlins All in all we enjoyed are 4 night stay And would definitely return
Nice place but entertainment has gone down not enough going on through the day now
If you have young kids there is no place better. The shops can be a touch exspensive to normal shops but overall a great place.
I feel so good and enjoy this resort because we have nice swimming pool and i looking elegant, and the foods is delicious and tasty!
The themed weekends are great. Fun, laughter and time to let your hair down. Accommodation basic but clean and adequate. We can't wait to go again on a 70's or 80's weekend
We have been going to butlins for17 years and have seen alot of changes not all for the best fairground now closes at5 oclock every day there is not half as much entertainment as there used to be and you have to pay for alot more these days we still had agood time but spent alot more money the food choice and quality is no where near as good as it used to be
Very friendly red coats. Evening entertainment is good but the cost of anything purchased on site is almost double the normal price.
Was great fun first time we have been ,will go again .. unfortunately there is no consesion for disabled children or passes we could by but other wise it's really nice
Visited here in May. It was raining alot, so it was annoying with the toddler rides being outside as opposed to Minehead where they are inside. Also the play area, they don't sell hot drinks or food like Minehead. We didn't go swimming so can't comment on that. Also could smell people smoking weed on site... i mean come on, its a kids holiday.
Good place for a holiday for kids lots for them to do all on site including a small fair loads to explore in the site and if you pay the food up front when you book it's an all you can eat breakfast and evening meal. Only let down is the beds not comfortable and small in width if your in a room for 2.
Dawn, Tony, Sean, Stephanie, Dennis, Evie, Leah, Lils, Mary,
Great family friendly fun at affordable prices. Lovely resort with beautiful gardens, super shows, entertainment, activities and nice modern accommodation. Swimming pool has many different types of water activities. Outside rapids a family favourite. Pantomime worth a visit, Redcoats friendly.
Great entertainment-- delicious food menu - top rate service. Family fun.
Fantastic place packed with activities and fun, booked again for next year.
Lovely shows, great range of included in price activities, food at 'the deck' very good, esp. Cook while you wait stands. Redcoats friendly and well set up for young families at tots week, lovely touches like baloons and sticker books. Issues, gold accomodation a bit worn, queues long at times for shows, to many amusement machines in unenclosed areas, a nightmare if you have toddlers. Roast section in restaurants not up to standard, frozen veg heated up.
Went for the soul weekend and had a good time good laugh, apartments were clean and modern and was great value for money
Large clean rooms, tons of entertainment, great food and friendly staff. All in all having a nice time.
Wooluld be 5 stars apart from half our party caught d&v while we were there
Family fun to be had by all. Great facilities. Very clean and well kept apartments and grounds. Spring Harvest was our event week which was outstanding as a Christian festival.
Great room quality as well as great amenities and a good variety of food establishments.
