Butlins Review

Butlins is great, been to all three, I like Minehead one the best but only just in front of Skegness. We always stay in Gold accommodation. Also take Premium food. So for us the food is great, living abroad it s nice to get English food More

Just for Tots week here come with the kids stopped in apartments we having a good week so far

Everything is going amazing but the rides are getting boring like the waltzes. Also I would like to add in more rides. My professional not alot of people are exited for the rides is because the lines for them are not long and it never has alot of people in the area. Thanks for reading industry I hope there will be improvements on the rides :)
Oh and also because you do have alot of visitors you could lower the prices of things then more people would come so you would end up with more money!!!

Must be good, people flock here time and time again and love it.

Needs a lick of paint but had an enjoyable weekend.

Very poor hygiene in the apartment it smelled like raw sewage in the bathroom I had to buy dettol wipes and a can of air freshener it was that bad! The bed sheets in the main bedroom where absolutely disgusting with stains all over them!

Atmosphere is electric, food excellent, service fabulous,rooms very tidy, people and groups brilliant... adult weekend breaks are the way forward!

Great place, lots to do, with great staff in every venue and food place, would definitely recommend this place, we have been coming for years

Good variety of entertainment and leisure activities even the activities you pay a small. Charge for were responsibly priced.

Only ate in one restaurant whist we were there but the food was cooked and responsibility priced, the staff were very attentive especially Iona in the fire house.

Kids loved the swimming pool with all the slides.

Only let down was the apartment could of done with a lick of paint otherwise all good.

Amazing, incredible, and super-cool (according to three young boys).

One of the best weekends I have ever had, 90's weekend highly recommended.

Butlins os family friendly and has so much to do for the kids it has freindly staff wanting to help and makenyour kids smile thier is also a lot for all ages

One of the best Holidays u can Go you get nightly entertainment, Lovely Apartments and scrumpicious food. Any kid at any age will enjoy it. Great fun and great value for ur money.

Fantastic shows, great all round family entertainment.

Good location, just a few minutes away from both Skegness and ingoldmells. Attended the big music weekend, so it should be expected to be busy, but service was unbelievably slow at the center stage bars. We ended up at the point of using a vending machine to get a non alcoholic drinks instead. Plenty of facilities and places to eat onsite. We paid extra to upgrade to the gold accommodation, but the rooms were rather disappointing. The apartment needs a good bit of money spent on maintenance. The balcony door wouldn't open without extensive force. The dishwshers top rack had come completely off the track making it extremely hard to close. There were holes in the sofas back rest. The overall look was quite outdated. The room wasn't so bad for us, but if I was staying with family I would be very disappointed.

I loved my visit to Butlins my father and I were astounded by the quality of the show ' Cinderella rocks ' . We had a brilliant time on the petrol go carts and we had a laugh. Though we thoroughly enjoyed our visit , when i went swimming , the floors were unusually slippy and I slipped over on a section where there were no hand rails. A worker offered me a plaster but i became apparent that they were not water proof .

Apart from that , I loved my stay

Seaside apartments are very nice. Skyline VIP area is very recommended. Good value break.

This holiday at Butlins Skegness was wonderful I defiantly recommend to go an stay there I will defiantly come back next year.Also a lot of entertainment for the kids and adults,amazing rides.!! I am going to give Butlins Skegness a 5 star!!!!Also a lot of more things..

Butlins Skegness is a great family holiday that offers something for children or all ages. There is entertainment for tots and grown ups alike.
The accommodation varies in style and grade, from a basic "traditional" two bedroom chalet which offeres two bedrooms and a basic bathroom (shower, sink and toilet) but no living area up to "gold" apartments which offers living areas, kitchens with cooker, fridge, microwave and even a dishwasher, and a daily maid service. There is little difference between gold and silver accommodation, and to be fair in general all the accommodation is looking a little tired. Apart from the new "seaside" apartments which have been newly updated, to offer balconies and a more modern feel. If you book one of these you may be disappointed to find that its not as "seaside" as you may think.
There are catering options to suit varying pallete and budget. But if you decide to go self catering the on site offerings can feel a little limited. That said, there is a large Tesco, Lidl and Morrison supermarket in Skegness (5 mins by car).
The pool offers varying aquatic fun, in the form a slides and has a dedicated todler/baby pool. There is currently little in the way of poolside catering (drinks, crisps, ice cream).
The changing rooms offer family sized cubicles as well as many disabled facilities.
It can get very busy. Check out the time table for late night fun.
Visit the butlins website to see what shows are currently on. Many of the shows repeat during a 7 night stay.

We've spent many years visiting Skeggie Butlins. Definitely better value for money going in term time!

Excellent for kids. Plenty for them to do. Food was delicious.

Friendly staff, good choices of food places, prices aren't to bad, the music weekends are good plenty of music played during the whole day

Carnt wait to return for the fourth time this year all ready for August and December for Xmas

We loved it, better than we expected. Good variety of food and entertainment for all ages. Rooms were clean and had enough space for us. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely place plenty to do both with the kids or with out

Disorganised when it came to queuing for big shows. Also had to queue to use the pool which is odd we thought. Never had to in other Butlins we have stayed at. Good fun but be prepared for queuing.

Lots to do on site. Great indoor pool complex, walking distance to the beach, on-site fun fair and lots of food and drink options. Great family resort.

Our quick getaway holiday. We love it here cheap and cheerful kids love it

We were there for the Xmas just for Tots and it was very good. The staff are always friendly and my daughter was beginning to appreciate the frequent shows. The food was good with dairy free options available for me which was nice. Overall I would recommend it for anyone with young children.

Whole experience was unfortunately undermined by a situation at the fish restaurant. Absolutely appalling service and standards.

An excellent place to stay for families with young children. Plenty to do without the need for spending money. The swimming pool is also excellent.

Lots of free childrens entertainment and daytime activities book on first day too save disappointment . Wouldnt recommend food hall unless you wish too experience school dinner hall ques . Evening entertainment varied and red coats really More

Didn't have much in the way of expectations, but whatever they were, they were exceeded at the Rock & Blues Weekend. Entertainment was pretty good, food excellent, all the staff - no exceptions - were helpful and courteous. Drinks were fair prices. The whole place is well kept and scrupulously clean.
Looking forward to next year!

What can I say friendly staff great entertainment food to die for (not literally) plenty of variety in the restaurants nothing is too much trouble.

Got upgraded from a standard apartment to a seaside apartment and it was really nice. My 2 year old loved it. Housekeeping is excellent and staff all over the place are always friendly and helpful. Waterworld was amazing and a lot of fun. Amusements and games everywhere and food is reasonably priced. Will definitely come back again

Great holiday destination, for a family. My children both loves the range of activities, and then the team there the red coats, absolutley amazing people. My children loved them. Restraunts to a bar to a cinema, you name it they probley have it. Then there is the fair and the arcades. The list could go on. But dont miss out on Butlins your young family will love it
