They don't honor the military veterans waves of honor tickets. That would be fine if that was stated on their website, or on the ticket itself. They just wait until you have already paid for parking, waited in line and get to security before they tell you no one gets a discount during these times including children, elderly or disabled. Again that's fine, especially since serving your country earns you the save discount as a child. Again free country just tell people you won't honor something before they get here. I'll update this once I get a chance to actually go in.

It was a great time. Little upset that there really wasn't anything scary this year. I've been going every weekend & same thing. Kinda just regular Busch Gardens, but with cool lights. It was awesome that we got to ride Verbolton in the rain! Super fun!

This Christmas Town was amazing.10 million lights. I've never seen any lights placed on the trees with such perfection. Sky rides, train rides with singing, the engineer had beautiful personality. Seven or Eight countries represented, great shops, rides, arcades. The employees were so sweet, all in holiday spirit. Definitely Worth Seeing!!

Dubbed the most beautiful theme park in the world, Busch Gardens is thoughtfully designed as the region of western Europe. Unlike many theme parks, it features plenty of trees and greenery, perfect for providing shade in hot summer months. As far as rides go, there are seven popular roller coasters and dozens of other attractions perfect for everyone in the family. Wait times are generally very low, except for days that are especially crowded. You can expect to ride all the rides, catch some shows, and take breaks to eat in the park or out in the parking lot picnic areas in a single day. It is not a park you should spend more than two days at per vacation.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is, in my opinion, the best theme park in the country. It is so clean and beautiful. Every time I go I enjoy myself more than the last. The roller coasters are all so great. My favorite is Apollo s Chariot. This year was my first time going to Hallowscream, and it was really fun. If you haven t checked out busch gardens yet , I HIGHLY recommend it!!!

It's cool. It's the end if June and most places aren't open. It's not easy to get from one country to another. Food and drinks are way over priced. If bree was 5.00 a glass and not 10.00 we may have enjoyed a few by now. I won't recommend this place.

We love this theme park and have perpetual season passes. I feel like something was lost when sold by Busch but cant put my finger on it. Lots of great beer throughout the park but the food is spotty. I wish they would open the brewery back up for tours.

This is one of my favorite places to go in Williamsburg. I'd recommend getting a season pass so you can explore the park at your leisure (there's plenty to do). There's a good mix of roller coasters at varying thrill levels. I also generally like the food here, if I recall correctly it's not insanely over priced as you'd expect from other theme parks. My wife and I generally like to take our vacations at leisurely pace, do a few rides, grab a snack, sit back and watch one of their many shows dotted through the park (the pet show was really cute), this suited our style perfectly.

Another thing is the people who work here actually look like they enjoy it. I kind of get the impression that they actually look after their people, which is nice to know.

Definitely check this place out around Christmas Time, not all the rides are open but the park is beautifully decorated and entry prices are reduced. We had a great time wandering around the park after sunset.

Finally, a word of caution: don't take their survey, they give you a bag. It's a little canvas number with handles, like a shopping bag but it's too small to use for this purpose. I swear the survey took forever as well.

We LOVE coming here. Being a huge theme park fan, Busch Gardens Williamsburg is one of my favorites. There is a reason that they are constantly awarded most beautiful park. So much natural shade on all the pathways.

Not to mention how great the rides are. The improvements that are being made to this park every year keep us coming back, and as Annual Pass Holders, we do it as much as we can! The benefits of an Annual Pass are great as well. Free parking, discounts on food and merch, and other monthly benefits like free items at food and wine or free quick queue.

Not worth the money!!! DOT GO THERE!!
We normally go to Kings Dominion for the haunted houses every year, but this year my daughter suggested we go to Williamsburg Busch Gardens. So the whole family of 22 show up super excited. We waited 90 minutes to get in the first Haunted house, it was a joke! There was very few employees working the haunted house, the set up was very cheaply done, it was right out boring, very disappointing. The others were equally disappointing. The lack of effort and imagination was unexceptionable. Family day this year was ruined.

Park is pretty well kept, and the attractions were very entertaining. The team members at the Apollo's Chariot and Turkish delight rides were enthusiastic and entertaining. The Tram team and the security at the front were very friendly and made a good first impression. Those groups really made for a positive experience.

What used to be a good park has turned into a greedy, uncomfortable experience. I grew up loving this park and talked my friends into a season pass with fast pass. This was a complete scam. Very unethical business practices with the locker situation. I'm downright disgusted with this park now. Hershey Park is where I will be going from here on out.

Edit* Continuing through the day, the rides were fun. We went to jump in line at the fast pass lane for the escape from pompaii, we realized the line was incredibly short, in order to make sure everyone rode together as a group, we decided to go into the regular lane, we were then treated like children by the worker at the ride. As a grown man, I accept if ai did something flawed such as sitting up on a ledge that can cause liability issues for the park which I politely obeyed as my fatigue doesn't waver safety, but to be talked to like a child as a 30 year vet, I decided to leave the ride altogether, shortly after we left the park. The food we had was in the Italian district, and the San which I had was dry and bland, the fries were cold, and the soda machines were out. We as a group decided we will never buy tickets here again. It was a much better park under a beer companies management than a company that specializes in theme parks. I lost my wallet in Hershey Park on a ride, they retrieved it for me within 20 minutes. I recommend going there.

Gorgeous theme park. Fun rides. Delicious food. Not as many thrilling rides as other theme parks but I think it makes for a more laid back park that has something for everyone of any age. I seriously love how well the park is maintained. Only annoying thing is when parking gets full, you have to park in a lot across a highway from the park and have to stand in line for a shuttle to get you to the line to get into the park. Makes for a very long process.

Had a great time. If you bring a bag be prepared to buy a locker. The locker is $5 for all day and you can transfer from locker to locker with your pin. I brought a couple of bottles or water and when they emptied filled them up at the water fountain. The food was priced well. Turkey Leg yum..

Me and my family have gone here a lot every year here since I was a little kid. It is the best amusement park ever! There is so much to do like watch all the fun shows and ride all the amazing rides. But if you don't like doing those things there are great places to go eat. All the food is different but amazing. I would highly recommend coming to Busch Gardens with the whole family.

Great place to spend with family, go on a date and just enjoy yourself. The staff does a great job of making you feel welcomed. The dining deals and parking fees are a bit expensive. Yet if you are able to purchase ahead of time online you may save a few dollars. We brought our all summer passes and took advantage of seeing two parks for one price!!

I came here for my 2 year Anniversary with my girlfriend but this isn't the first time I've been here. First time was 7 years ago and being an adult I was able to fully enjoy this experience. This is by far my favorite amusement park, ever! Now some parks have characters and are able to profit from that. Well Busch Gardens is different in that it's European themed and solely relies on it's rides, food, and attractions. The thing that always bothers me about parks is that the food taste pretty bland and is over priced but Busch Gardens is different, their food taste pretty well. So well and filling that I wasn't able to finish my whole plate of fries (Yes fries! It's a french fry spot in France, historically inaccurate but it's good so what). The rides I was able to get on were The Lochness Monster (it's okay, nothing special), Battle for Eire (first VR ride I have ever rode, it was okay, left my face marked a bit with their headset), The Griffon (scared the bejesus outta me, that drop is no joke), and my favorite ride ever Vorbolten (seriously, went on it 2 times, would have gone on it more if it weren't for the rain. All in all, this place is the best amusement park in my opinion for their rides, food, events, and attractions. From live music while dining in Italy to seeing wolves and fun animals high jinks to a firework celebration at the end of the night (didn't stick around that long, insert sad emoji face here). Busch Gardens is definitely a must

We are members/pass holders and it was the best decision we made! Just one visit makes up for your whole pass. It comes with member perks and rewards as well. We love how beautiful the park is during the spring/summer. We love showing off Busch to family members that visit us.
Their Halloween event could use improvement on scare factor. Went to 4 out of the 6 haunted houses...even took my 5&3 year old and they werent even scared of the haunted houses. My 3 year old even asked to go again so if you're going to suggest not bringing kids...at least make it worth it on not bringing kids(let me add...I read comments before we went and many had said it wasnt even scary so that's why I ended up bringing my kids...plus my kids love spooky stuff)
2 suggestions is that they add more misting fans during summer and make single riders lanes! During so many of our visits I saw one or 2 seats open in muplitle spots during one ride. I'm sure that'll help on lines. This works really well at Disney and Universal.
Other than that theres no complaints from me or my family and we recommend to everyone to at least visit once.

Had a great time, I am retired military so the best discounts were for a party of four. The discount made it affordable. Only wish parking would have been included on one of the tickets for a party of four. Also enjoyed the sesame street program.

Pros: millions of lights, everything is decorated, various Christmas music delightfully playing thru park. It was clean, and the workers we encountered were nice enough. The water fountains are turned off because it's cold but you can ask for a courtesy cup of water at some restaurant locations.

To consider: we put in about 12,000 steps the evening we were there.

They had reduced the trams from the parking lot to the park, from 5 to 2, at 5 PM. The lines were crazy long. We opted to walk from "Ireland" rather than stand in line.

Everything, as rexpected, is super expensive. For instance, a bottle of water is $4. A hot dog or funnel cake is $10.

If you get lost, reading your map in the dark is a little challenging.

Some people put flashing lights on children to make them easier to identify.

Went to Busch Gardens April 23 2019 and was less then thrilled. I agree the park is beautiful and there are lots of shaded areas to sit and enjoy the beauty. Our problem was half of the rides and attractions were closed! We walked a LOT just to arrive at a ride that was closed. Very frustrating! Also, the park is extremely understaffed. We attended one show and it was good but could not attend any other shows because we would walk half way across the park for a ride (that was closed) and wouldn't have time to get to a show. Needs restructuring. I went to Busch Gardens in Florida and it was spectacular. Williamsburg was a Big let down.

Went for Christmas Town. This is my 4th year doing this event. Not much was different. Same shows and limited rides. Wish they would change up the shows so there would be new variety each year. Not sure I'll be going again next year because of this. However, if this is your first time, go early and enjoy all that is offered. Then as the night comes, experience the amazing transformation as the Christmas lights and lanterns create a truly winter wonderland. The shows are entertaining and done well. The Skyride at night provides a gentle ride high above the park for a great view from above of all the lights as does the Nacht Tower ride. It's a good time.

Theres something for everyone! Each section has something for the wee little ones to the high thrill seekers. Lots of places to sit and eat. You cant bring in waer bottles or food but can get free cups of water which goes a long way. And buying the souvenir cups definitely pays off. Huge misting fans are all around the park which is amazing. And each section is true to their theme. Stay away from the Battle of Eire if you get any type of motion sickness. The poor graphics are devastatingly bad and mess up your stomach. Overall busch gardens is a must see! And there's beautiful animals all around as well.

Great theme park! Wonderful roller coasters, fun world-themed attractions, and a very small zoo inside. I recall the zoo being larger at the Tampa Busch Gardens, and it is neat to see inside the brewery there, but the roller coasters at both locations are great. We had a portrait in profile drawn of my 1 year old (cut from paper, actually), by an extremely talented artist that will remain one of our favorite portraits of him.

BG is doing the best they can during covid but we left feeling like we were part of the minimum number of guests needed to keep the park up and running. I was thankful there were 3 coasters running but once you ride all 3 a couple times the walking gets old. Usually BG would get 5 stars. For now they get 4.
