I just got my first swag and the staff at Lismore bunyips were incredibly helpful. There is a nice range of goods from clothing to kayaks, swags camping chairs and cook wear. Competitively priced.

This family owned local business is a great source of experience and knowledge for all things camping & kayaking. If they haven't got what you want they will try to get it for you. I have bought my last three hiking shoes there & when my husband had problems with his shoes not long after he bought them, they contacted the company (Keen) & got a replacement. Thanks Bunyips.

Really expensive everything. But staff very knowledgable.

I didn't have the best experience here to be honest. They did all their customer service correctly but failed to sell a whole package to us and we had to drive back 2 hous to get a raincover for a backpack and they didnt say sorry and when I asked for a possible discount on the overpriced Osprey raincover he gave me 5 cents off. If you want gear go check out Aussie Diggers in Lismore they have some good stuff but not the same as Bunyips. I really want to love this store but I work in retail in hiking stores and it bothers me when staff don't make sure the gear they sell is fully equipped. It's like selling a pair of shoes but no merino socks to go with them. You need to make sure the customer has everyone they need before they walk out the door. To me that's perfect customer service.
