This hostel is awesome. Very well organized reception and the lounge area. Not much expensive. Good party hostel and popular in Brisbane city. Close to train station. Walking distance to everything. Fortitude Valley is the heart of the brisbane CBD.
They also provide free drinks (cocktail/beer) every night sharp at 8pm.
Excellent hostel in Australia! it was really clean, they went to clean the room every day, it has a really big kitchen with everything you need and excellent location
Amazing hostel. All the staff was extra nice and they made us feel comfortable at all times. Great location with many attractions, shops and pubs very close.
The kitchen was seriously amazing, never seen a bigger kitchen anywhere and so well equipped and extremely clean always.
Lots of space to eat, huge reception to chill out, many books to read, it has a very cool bar that offers free dinner when you buy $5 drinks, but haven't been to the bar. They also offer 50% discount off meals in a pub nearby, so you can have very yummy dishes for $7.5.
Room was a private one with a bunk bed, Mattress wasn't very comfortable, that's the only thing that could be better.
Bathroom was only shared with another room like ours and it was always very clean and nice.
Highly recommend this place, excellent value for the money paid.

Lived here for around a whole month. It is the best place to live and chill while you're travelling. Its pocket friendly and they literally provide free breakfast and a drink everyday. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Thank you Bunk Team.
Happy to hear you take Covid seriously however turning someone away from Regional Victoria (not in a HOTSPOT), & requesting a Covid test in QLD without prior warning was bad management & poor public relations. The person in question had a Negative Covid Certificate from same Pathology Clinic used in QLD done 48hrs prior in Victoria. Which was not a pre require but done anyway as extra precaution. Such a shame as he was looking forward to 6 nights @ Bunk Hostel. He had planned this pre Covid. He also flew direct Mel/BNE.
Best backpackers ever. Really well set up. Great staff.
No covid restrictions at all, room full. Just one tiny bathroom for twelve people. Impossible to take a shower before midnight. Unhappy they moved us in an other room but the beds squeaked a lot, really hard to sleep. Bad mattresses
Turned away a paying customer because their system couldn t make a booking. Very poor service, the staff member refused to give their name and was very condescending and rude
