I have had $20 dollar prime rib and $40 dollar prime rib. The quality of food and service did not meet there price point. Drinks were unbalanced and the veggies (across the board) tasted microwaved with raw spices, if any.

Classic Steak house- dark lights, leather booths, and delicious steaks. The drinks are great and the 8 oz prime rib is always my dish of choice. The sides are always a great edition to the meal 3 different kinds of potatoes fresh vegetables sides and a hearty french onion soup.

The food was great. The French onion soup, garlic bread, prime rib and lobster were all great. Scalloped potatoes a bit under done. Service was great by Jaqline (sp) but she seemed that she had a lot of tables so was getting through them all a little slow, don't blame her just the under staffing it seems.
Most of the pricing wasn't too bad, lobster seemed a little high.
Doesn't seem that they are enforcing distancing as people at the bar were seated right next to each other and no, they weren't together.

Happy hour prices. Affordably priced menu. Lots of TV screens.
After several return visits the service & food have suffered. The manager on duty that I spoke to was not engaging & was not sympathetic to my inquiry. The website has no email for one to contact management. After all these years I"m not sure I'll return.

I had heard this was an iconic San Diego eatery so we went with friends for the "legendary" prime rib. Honestly the place had a funk about it. I like old school steakhouses but this place felt grimey. Typical overpriced San Diego but I have had better steaks at Rustler. Our prime rib was tough, cold and just plain awful. The four of us spent $225 for a dinner we all hated. Never again.

One of my two favorite steak spots in San Diego. This place has great food and a great vibe. At the bar they have TVs so someone can watch sports, grab some food, and a quick drink. Easy to get to, the staff is super friendly. Lunch or dinner you can't go wrong.

We got there at 11:30 am shortly after opening. Service was terrible they made us wait forever and after a detailed custom order because of dietary restrictions on some 4 Tacos and they did all 4 wrong we waited again 20 minutes for the right order, every one else was finished eating except my wife who was waiting for hers. I was so hungry I ate mine without them redoing it. I will never go back to this place.

WOW!!! I wish my experience at Bully's even close to the reviews I read here. Long story short, went to Bully's East for lunch today with Mom for a late Father's Day celebration. We both ordered the Surf n Turf. We both ordered our steaks med/rare. After a long wait our food arrives. I don't know which corner of the kitchen they unearthed these steaks but my Mom's steak was tough as shoe leather and my steak was, get this, RANCID!!!! I mean, I though perhaps the sauce that was on it may have just had a wang to it, due to the odor coming from my plate. I cut into the steak, take a bite and realize it was completely rotten. I took a closer look and noticed it was a nasty grey color and smelled rancid. My Mom took the waitress to the side so as to not cause a scene and explained the situation. Can you believe they still had the audacity charge us for the shrimp that we had eaten, as if they were doing us a big favor. No real apology, "Thank you have a nice day, hope you don't get food poisoning." Not a classy move Bully's.

I was there with a large group for a work based thank you dinner. The service was excellent, considering we had about 20+ people, and they kept drinks and plates moving. I'm not a prime rib person, but everyone enjoyed their food. My ribs we done well enough, BBQ sauce was ok. All in all, I've had better, but you could do worse. Prices were good as were the portions. If you are feeling especially hungry, they do have a 38oz prime rib.

The decor was average. Would I pick this place to go, not specifically, but I would go if others were.

Have you ever wanted so much more from the sports bar? Have you ever wanted great service great food and a well-lit area? Bully is sadly fits none of that with mediocre food mediocre-at-best services and carpet and flooring that appears to be from mid-1980s. Pass unless you're nearby and hungry.

I absolutely love prime rib. This place has the best prime rib I have ever had! It is amazing! I have been there at least a hundred times (not even exaggerating!) and every single time it is delicious! Highly recommend it!!!! The green beans almandine is an excellent side too!!

If you are looking for great food and drinks Bully's East Prime Bristro Sports Bar is the place to go. There is at lot of energy, people laughing and having a good time. March Madness was playing in all the rooms. Food was awesome. I would recommend the Prime Rib sandwich. The service was excellent. Great value.

Came here with my wife Saturday evening. We didn't have reservations but we were seated immediately in a booth near the bar. A creepy guy sitting at the bar kept staring at us, but I can't blame the restaurant for that. Television screens everywhere showing college football -- fortunately we both like to watch college football, but it felt more like a sports bar than a steak house. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive and I ended up tipping him more than 20% for his effort. We both ordered the horseradish-crusted prime rib which was out of this world. Finished it off with coffee and dessert. Overall an extremely satisfying dinner.

I've been to this place now about 4 times. Again this is one of those ones that I think if you have a good waitress you're okay. The Kooks may have changed I do not know but the food has slid downhill a bit. I had the carne asada plate and I didn't even eat the meat because it did not taste right and I've had lots of carne asada plates.

The host was really friendly so I had higher expectations. Unfortunately it went down here from there. I'm assuming this is one of those local joints so for being an out of towner I got many looks as if I was out of place.
The waitress was abrupt. Food came out room temperature, with the potatoes and carrots undercooked/raw.

The manager did stop by when he noticed I was trying to find something to give the food flavor, which is why I'm giving it two vs one.

Definitely not a place I look forward coming back to

Some employees should learn to keep their personal opinions to themselves and not share them in the presence of other employees or customers. I personally will take my money and my business elsewhere.

I'd probably never eat here again, but the atmosphere for killing time in Mission Valley is hard to beat.

The happy hour specials are awesome. Bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. It has that vibe where it seems like this would be a pretty cool place to be a regular. But, given it's location, driving is a must, so being a regular here would probably be pretty dangerous.

Good prime rib. Wasn't the best quality beef, but for the price I paid I left very happy.

Probably the best prime rib in San Diego city proper, which shouldn't be too surprising given the lack of competition.

I'll definitely be coming back once I finish digesting the gigantic chunk of meat I had there.

Usually this place is decent, the food I fairly consistent 3 good orders, 1 poor quality order.

Several interaction had abnormally long wait when they were not busy by an capacity.

Latest experience (5 min ago) -

I called a moment ago to place my carry out order. I was told we are busy and I am not going to take your carry out order now, you can call back another time .... Really? What a quick way to flush the client base and future sales down the toilet. Restaurants need to perform logistical analysis of customer traffic to ensure they do not have to turn down business, what a disappointment. Will not be giving them any more business.
