Dan and his team set me up with Solar panels 5 years ago. They have long since paid for themselves and I now get a check from LIPA not the other way around. Installation was painless and follow up was on point. They continue to monitor and make sure we are always up and running. Solar is the way to go. I had Built Well Solar install solar panels on my home 3 years ago and I couldn't have been happier with the installation. It was done in a very professional manner from the beginning to the end of the job. Since then I needed to expand the system because my usage increased and Dan and his team were extremely accommodating. Any time I have a question regarding the system or need assistance they are right there for me. If you are considering solar you can't go wrong with Built Well.
Seemed like very nice people, but unfortunately this is a business that has left me hanging for 6 months. My solar loan was approved in the spring, and they still have not completed the job. I gave a deposit, which is the only reason I haven't just gone to another company. The owner responds to my texts promising to make it right, but it's been over a month of that promise, and still no solar panels. I wish I never made that deposit.
I ve been a customer for over 10 years.. while nowadays everyone is a solar contractor Built Well is a true pioneer.. they know their business, stand behind their work and since they are a local company are extremely responsive to customer needs. Highly recommend..
