THIS PLACE IS THE BEST!!!! I m so pleased with my new carpet!!! I ll NEVER shop for rugs, remnants, carpet or vinyl flooring anywhere else! Support local non-chain businesses! This place is old school in all the best ways! AND prices here are lower than Big Box Stores! IDK how Builders Floor Covering does it but I m glad they do!!!

Love Builder s Floor Covering. We have been purchasing all of our floor covering and area rugs from them since approximately 1990. They have the BEST selection of area rugs that we have found in Western Michigan. They have great customer service and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Emily is amazing! Prices are great too. Would never go anywhere else.

Friendly staff. Great try before you buy rugs and pricing comparable with online options. We've purchased 4 rugs and we're happy with the quality of their suppliers and their service.

Went for a large throw rug. They let us take it home to try. Unfortunately, clashed with furniture, so we returned.
We've spent thousands at this store over the 40 years we lived in town. Wonderful selection and they try their best to get you what you want. It looks small from outside, but is huge! Catalog's available to go through if you don't want to flip through their stock.

We were greeted by friendly staff and surprised to find a very wide selection of large area rugs at very good prices! Many carpet remnants, laminate wood flooring, hardwood flooring, linoleum, and plenty of other flooring options abound. We found enough inspiration from the selection of area rugs that we will definitely be back!

Best place to shop for carpet, area rugs, and wood flooring in Grand Haven and Spring Lake. Shelly and the staff are helpful, knowledgeable and their prices are extremely fair.

Stay clear! I was so disappointed with the customer service. It was almost like I was doing them a favor for buying carpet from them. The guy that helped me in the store with picking out carpet was very rude. He just put a couple books in front of me and was absolutely no help. I had to ask all the questions. (When is going to be installed?, what grade do you suggest?, Will someone be measuring and giving me a quote?, What other options of commercial carpets do you have? , etc....) When the carpet was finally installed (4 weeks later...) I had to call the day of and ask what time they would be showing up. A call the week before would have been nice. The guy that installed it never even picked up after himself. Carpet scraps left and the carpet wasn't even vacuumed. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE?! You're selling carpet, vacuum up the carpet! Seesh is that too much to ask? The only person that was somewhat friendly, was the gentleman who came out to give me a quote.

I received quotes from other carpet places in the area, if this place wasn't the cheapest I would have absolutely gone somewhere else. Never again Builders Floor Covering and you better believe i'm going to pass along my experience to others.

We found some area rugs at a good price for our camper.

Within 2 years of carpet installation, the carpet faded, to the point where it was best to leave furniture, etc., where it was so the fading wouldn't be so obvious. We were very disappointed, also surprised, with Builders Floor Covering's attitude of, 'Oh well'!

They have a great selection and the prices are unbeatable , we love our area rug
