Brutally disappointed. The menu looked amazing, but it couldn t deliver. I was so excited to see that they had Brunswick stew on the menu, but when I asked for it, they said they were out. I opted to skip the appetizer since the stew was the only thing I wanted, and went for a platter with beef brisket. The platter was $10.99. The waitress said that the brisket would be an additional $4.00. (That wasn t indicated on the menu.) I m not paying $15.00 for a lunch on a weekday, so I ended up with some dried out chicken and a bowl of flavorless barbecue sauce on the side, along with some unseasoned mashed potatoes and corn. The only things on the plate worth eating were the hush puppies. It wasn t worth the money. This place is probably great if you re a half drunk college student and someone else is footing the bill, but if you want good food, I recommend going somewhere else.

Hi buddy this is Mary from rt 2 mini Mart I was there today order to eat in and to go but as you ask me this morning if they didn't treat me well to let you know. For eat in I ordered another bolonga sandwich burnt they brought it not that way I ask her to take it back to burn it. She acted odd not friendly at all first time for me to experience this from your girls I order also two sandwiches to go but she wasn't friendly at all . I eat here guite often . First time I was not comfortable with your servers. I did leave her a tip. But with no me working with the public her attitude was not acceptable. I should know. I was there around 1:30 to around 2. Not busy at all. I wasn't rude at all when I ask her to have them take my sandwich back to recook. Just think u should know. Sincerely Mary scarberry . Didn't look at her name. Could be the best barbecue place in Huntington. There are other great ones, but this one has been here the longest and is perhaps my family s favorite place to eat. I normally get the large pulled pork sandwich. It s incredible. Along with their to die for potato salad. This last time I got the full rack of ribs. I do believe these are the best ribs you can get in Huntington. The sweet tea is great too.

Food was as good as usual but staff was taking the mask less than serious. We were here from out of town and looked forward to having a treat by going but the employees either had their mask hanging on one ear or pulled down around neck.

Great pulled pork sandwich. Slaw and fries made good side dishes.

Two yrs ago i bit into some bbq and it had a bone in it. As i bit down on it i broke 3 teeth out. As waiter to get manager. He refused and stated. Happens all the time. ARE U KIDDEN ME. COST ME $1200 TO FIX. THEY DID NOTHING. NOTNING

My dad takes my brother and I here for dinner and drinks a couple times a month. It is always a good experience and friendly staff!

Great smoked BBQ, just needs a bigger variety of beers on tap. Also beer shouldn't be served in glass not plastic! Overall really good food and staff.

Some damn fine wings big and plump. Spicy BBQ is the best

Everything we had was good. I ordered the platter with pulled pork and chicken. He had the smoked wings and brisket. The wings were amazing. The only complaint we would have is that we paid an extra $4 for the brisket and was disappointed because all it was was 3 dinky thin slices. Def not worth the extra money but it was good.

Poblano cheddar soup, pulled pork sandwich and of course deep fried banana peppers!!! One of my favorite places to go!!

We have eaten here twice now and it was great both times. Best potato salad ever! More than fair pricing. People are nice and provide excellent service. If you love real BBQ go here TODAY.

Had the chicken wings, really good. Also liked the wide selection of draft beer.

Bike nights on Thursdays are awesome. Food is delicious. A little pricey, but worth it for good BBQ if you want it.

I love buddy's- but it doesn't mean a whole lot.
It had always been a real treat to come on Fridays and get the Pulled Pork quesadilla! I was pretty exited when they brought it to the regular menu. Unfortunately they raised the price and took away the included drink.
That's really all I ever get here.
The pulled pork is good and smokey- even though it is often dry and cool and the service can be slow (but always friendly). But the culmination of flavors on the quesadilla makes this one of my go to lunch destinations.

Best wings you'll find. They are big and juicy. Not at all like a chain restaurant.

I have gone for lunch a few times. The quality of food is always pretty good, but they do have their off days. I can always taste a hint of BBQ in their sodas, but since they raised the price per soda to something like $2, I haven't ordered any sodas. The prices are a little high for the quality of food for me to want to go back more than just once every few months.

This place was fantastic!!! First time customer on their way home to Louisville. Great service. Hot food. Left full and even had leftovers!!! Excellent value!!!!

It was ok. Coleslaw was not great. KFC is better. Barbecue was ok. Sweet tea was good. The staff was not busy and they were all just standing around gossiping. Not really a great dining experience

The smoked wings are amazing. The service is good. Note, those types of wings are only available on Wednesday. The other people in my party were happy with their soups and sandwiches.

Cause it's always good food and the staff are as laid back as they come.
