Food is awesome store is clean and staff is friendly

Everything here is awesome. We eat lunch here 2-3 times a week. The food is delicious! Prices are great and the service is out of this world. The Owners are incredibly kind and give a lot back to the community. They are always helpIng with charities for Breast cancer awareness, camps for special needs kids, local police etc!

Awesome as usual, the kids and I are stuffed and loving it, the chicken monterrey sandwich is huge and delicious, I'm about 240 pounds and it fills me up. We love to stop by after marshall football and basketball games and of course just any day of the week also.

It was pretty good but nothing compared to smoke em if you got em inside black sheep Harley shop.

Good place to eat some BBQ and a brew. The place is slightly rundown but that's ok. You feel welcome when you walk in the door

Worth the wait even if it was due to understaffing. Didn't give 5 stars because we really wanted to eat on patio but told no. Husband loved your pulled pork and especially baked beans. Price was very good also.

Brisket was not very good. Chicken breast was overcooked and dry. I ordered what I thought were going to be hot wings, it was the 3rd hottest sauce they had, they were mild at best but were good quality wings. The mashed potatoes were bland. The hushpuppies and potato wedges were outstanding , but not good enough for another visit.

Great staff and atmosphere! Beer selection better than expected. Portion size is awesome. Food is mediocre. Ribs were great! They're smoky, nice pink color from slow smoking, not overly sauced. A touch dry on the edges, but overall moist. Pulled pork is mushy with little flavor - had to add bbq sauce to eat it. Sliced brisket was unremarkable and had little flavor without sauce. Hush puppies were delicious! Unfortunately, first order came out ice cold inside. The waitress took them back and promptly returned with a fresh batch that was great! Baked beans are good, but c'mon guys, you're a bbq joint - add a little meat to your beans! Potato salad is interesting. Thick cut julienne potatoes, nice twist! Needs more mustard and will. Overall, satisfied with the experience. I'm willing to eat here again, but not the top of my list.

They are not very friendly and they are always out of food thats on the menu

The ribs are to die for. The onion rings are pretty good. They make mashed potatoes just the way I like them. Their sweet tea is so good that I usually down 3-4 glasses of it, just the thing on a hot day. The service is excellent. They don't skimp on the portions either, one meal there will tide you over for the whole day. All in all, a pretty great restaurant!

This place was horrible. Spent close to a $100.00 for a family of 6 and what we received was cold, undercooked, very small proportions, and tasting of a detergent, such that you wash dishes with. Spoke with the manager and she stated all their proportions are served at 4oz. regardless if your eating in or takeout. Basically I'm to deal with it. Want a good quality meal with friendly service for your family? Head out 5th Street Road to Bombshells. Won't be disappointed and you'll leave satisfied. However, if you prefer cold food, attitudes, small over priced proportions Buddy's is definitely the place for you.

Not too much to say positive on this. I have been in Memphis a lot so the standard is high. The BBQ was lackluster, bland and cool temp. The rubs had little meat and appeared to have been cooked hours ago...odd texture. Hit Chipolte about 20 mins away. This town is a bit odd.

My family and I tried Buddys because we heard it was great. After we ate there we went next door to have a beer only to have my brother in law inform me my truck was being towed. I was parked in Buddys parking but apparently that only applies to business hours because the employees were literally outside laughing watching my truck get towed. I went down and paid 125 to get my truck out of tow but neither I nor my very extensive family will ever eat or ever recommend Buddys again, it doesnt matter if your food is good if you literally think your customers mean nothing. Nice job.

Service was great but food not that much dry wings and the nachos didn't had much meat melted cheese was almost like plastic

Everyone at Buddy's All American Bar-B-Que are fantastic! The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff go above and beyond to meet all your needs!!

Professionally speaking Buddy's is an amazing group to work with! They supported our poker run hosted by Halos for Muscular Dystrophy (a volunteer-run organization) and was a stop on our route. All of our riders came back and said that everyone was wonderful and the place was amazing! All proceeds from our poker run supported CureDuchenne, a non-profit organization dedicated to curing Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Halos for Muscular Dystrophy and the families living with muscular dystrophies would like to thank Buddy's and the entire staff for helping out with our poker run and making it a total success!!

Good food and good service. An all around great bbq joint!

Good place to eat semi Mexican and American food. One of the best food is Jumbo Chicken with Carolina sauce. A bit spicy and sweet tasting. The only bad thing was unfriendly waiter/waitress.

First visit the other day got 2 combo meals. Ribs sausages wings pulled pork and sides. Ribs over cooked wings were my most disappointing NO smoke at all...I have actually had better at Fat Pattys right down the road. Sweet potato fries baked beans an potato salad was really good. I can say the service was great..but for what we paid for are meal we wont be going back. It looked an smelled great...but like the saying goes looks can be deceiving.

We really enjoy Buddy's. Any time we have out of town visitors, we take them to Buddy's, and so far everyone has loved it. We always eat the pulled pork or pulled chicken platter, but they have a wide selection. Love their sweet tea!!!

I absolutely love this place. A good variety on the menu. They smoke their own meat and you can tell it. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff.

I really enjoyed this place I will come again. Great food and plenty of TV'S to watch your games . And the staff was very awesome and respectful and always there to help with adding more drinks without us asking .Thumbs up Buddy!!!!! They do have a bar which that was at a distance away from where we were sitting but overall 10 in rating.

Soooo good. We were eating here almost daily while in town. Food is awesome, service great, waitstaff super friendly.

Sunday March 13,2016. Drive two hours to his place. Baby back ribs were very dry! Tasted like maybe the night before and reheated.:/ disappointed

Real good. Got the beef brisket platter. I left more than satisfied!

Meats are great, side dishes and service aren't very good at all.

Great food. Sat on the deck for dinner. Was pleasant.

I had a margarita and it was the worst thing i've ever drunk. And the salsa was very watered down with no taste.

Their BBQ is good but local rumors are that it's not the cleanest restaurant. You can't tell being there but that's what some people say.

Ordered take out... ultimate sampler to feed 3 to 4 people... we had plenty of meat, however we had very very small sides... two tiny cups of potato salad, two tiny cups of baked beans and two tiny cups of coke slaw barely enough for two people less alone 3 to 4 people. Once picking up I asked for Bar BQ Sauce to go with the meats... lady said it was all ready in there... told her I would like a sweet or honey bbq sauce again she said it is in there... spent 43 dollars with tax plus added tip... once we got home no BBQ Sauce at all... however, you could see bbq smeared all over the bags and boxes... biggest disappointment was the serious lack of sides... definitely not worth the money we spent... meats were good...

It's okay. Just okay.The food's alright. If you're looking for really good bbq, this isn't really the place.

My girlfriend can't get enough of this place. We went to Buddy's on our first date and we've been back numerous times since. The barbecue pulled pork sandwiches are great and the sweet potato fries make the perfect side. We have the UConnection app that lets us get buy one get one half off on the barbecue sandwiches, so that just sweetens the already good deal. The atmosphere is good too; it's set up like a sports bar and the lighting is warm and cozy. The waitresses have always been welcoming as well. One piece of advice is stay away from their hush puppies - I've gotten them twice and both times they were undercooked. Other than the hush puppies, Buddy's BBQ is an amazing restaurant.

Boyfriend and I decided to stop here while visiting Huntington to scope out Marshall University and BOY HOWDY. This food alone makes me want to go to grad school here. The ribs were to DIE for, meat nearly falling off the bone and everything. They had the perfect amount of sauce and the flavor was *chef's kiss* (pardon the piece of meat missing in the picture, I could. Not. Wait.). The Mac n cheese was perfect, and so were the baked beans. He got the pulled pork and smoked sausage, both of which were cooked and sauced to perfection. The garlic bread was crispy and buttery but not overly greasy. The onion rings had thicccc slices of onion and were super crispy but not dry. We ordered to-go and it was ready in 10 minutes. Staff was friendly and super speedy. 10/10!!

I've traveled the United States to different BBQ places. This would be rated number one being worst. The cold foods were hot and the hot goods were cold. Service was rude! Way over priced your portions come in sauce containers, not joking. Save your money and head to Kenova there is a great BBQ place there in the plaza you won't be let down.

MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT! Everything is delicious. You can't got wrong. My standard go to is the pulled pork and potato salad.

We have been going there for sometime and have never got a bad meal or service. They are awesome.
