Bucks Family Medicine Review

Simply looting money not doing any work. Billing department lady & elderly front desk lady very rude. Went for flu shot for kid, these people billed nearly $400 to insurance. Then insurance rejected this. when we contacted resubmit this claim. They will not resubmit. Instead they asking us to pay. They billed physical checkup along with it. Later point of time when we requested for physical checkup report , they are not able to provide. since they did not do actual physical checkup, only the bare minimal weight , height stuff . Looting money from insurance and patients. We have done more than 20 followup calls and reminders , so far no response.

I am so upset with this office. I have gone here since 1989.i was told today by someone in the office to go find a new doctor.because we constantly get r meds sent to the wroung pharmacy. I am either calling to talk to Dr.FilesSr.or finding a new doctor.

Yesterday was my first time going I was a new patient.... my appointment was 615 I should up at 550..... lady at the front desk was extremely nice and welcoming. Before I got done filling out new patient papers I was already called back, saw a nurse and then the doc came in.... dr files listened to my concerns and gave feedback. Also like the fact they take blood work right in the office and that lady was wonderful and nice.

I had nothing but a good experience so far

My family has used this as our primary physician for the last 20 years (3 generations). Yesterday I received the nastiest letter from them "terminating my patient status" and threatening legal action over a balance not paid of $105 which my account has never been past due if notified. I got no phone call of this, had no idea that i owed this money... I called up, waited on hold for 15 minutes to get an answer about this unprofessional letter. After finally getting a hold of someone they advised me of their apparent policy change stating that $75 would be charged automatically regardless of why you missed an appointment; versus the usual flexible $25 fee. Mind you the office never advised the patients of this change... I continued with my conversation to find them not understanding, frankly not caring of my disgust in the letter, my tenure my family had at the office and 0 care in the world that I was going to be changing primary doctors.... I'm not sure what has happened to this place as of late, seeing many negative reviews... But as it stands now i would not recommend this office to anyone in its current state.

They discriminated against my friend she had a lost her baby n had to get a dnc or dne and called in to say she had a dnc before she had a chance to explain her situation n wasnt feeling good and her dr hung up on her. Then received a letter to seek a new dr so not only did she miscarry have sepsis but was told to seek a new dr. Out of judgement and lack of understanding of full story. Should of been reported trufully!!! So wrong !!!

Missed an appointment at the office because of a family emergency mind you this office doesn't have any type of reminder system they do not call with appt. Reminders no automated system so I missed an appt. I received a phone call from the office 3 days later and called to try to get a new appt. And explain what had happened not only was the nurse down right rude but told me well you are an adult so maybe you should have called and cancelled you are responsible for that an actual sick person could have had that spot and informed unless I pay 75 I can not have an appt. I asked to speak with my doctor she refused asked to speak to another nurse because of how nasty she was she refused and transferred me to billing this woman as equally as nasty I will be finding a new doctor because the staff in this office thinks they can speak down to patients and be mean rude and nasty to their patients its a shame too because I actually really loved cindy but the staff is not worth it in sure I can find a great doctor elsewhere and the staff should never be allowed to have interaction with people who are sick medicine is supposed to be a compassionate field...ha..oh and if you leave anything less than 5 stars expect to be discharged as a patient and be yelled at for making an online review apparently they no longer want to be doctors if you complain about their staff...the nurse Theresa is the most rude excuse of a nurse I have dealt with John obviously can't handle his staff

This place is always quick to take me in, the staff is fantastic, and the doctors are knowledgeable and friendly.

A good friend recommended Cindy at this practice to me. My appointment was scheduled quickly for the very next morning. From the moment Cindy came in to the moment she left the room, she was nothing but sweet, compassionate, understanding, non judgmental and quick to want to assist. It is difficult to find someone, especially a doctor or nurse that doesn't treat you like just another $ or number. I HATE going to the doctor and always have. My experience with Cindy was nothing short wonderful. When my children are due for their yearly check ups and anything else, I'll be moving them to this practice. Thank you Cindy!

If you would like a primary doctor that cares more about a small sum of money that you owe them for copays over what s best for your health. This is your primary. Especially seeing as they won t even fax a letter to a surgeon saying your ok for surgery unless you pay them for your last visits co pay, definitely your primary!

Everytime i go here it feel more and more uncomfortable. I get the vibe that the dozen staff member that are always standing around doing much of nothing, don't appreciate when you give them more work. Also the lack of compassion is very unsettling. If you are thinking of giving them a try, dont waste your time here. You will eventually see for yourself if you do.

Amazing. Little waiting, and handled all of my needs. Everything in one office.

I've been a patient for 20+ years. First seen by Doctor Lori Truman for majority of years til she left office.
I then was seen by Doctor Files with had no issues.
Recently been seen by Doctor Mallory (past 3 - 4 visits) again with no issues.
Use to be a long wait time til to be seen but past 2-3 years wait time hasn't been very long at all.
I've never had any bad dealings with the office staff - they have always been kind & respectful.
I'd refer others to come here & have never seen any mockery or unprofessionalism what so ever as to others reviews posted here.

I have no idea why anyone would give them anything but 5 stars. I was diagnosed with Bell s Palsy and the staff was nothing short of AMAZING. Mallory Patino was amazing listening to all my concerns, finding the right course of treatment and great handling my hysteria and ugly cry! And Dr.Danny was an amazing consult and stood up for me when an MRI facility failed to meet the tests they ordered. Mandy helped me get into a testing facility that was quicker and saved me a ton of money. I owe them all so much gratitude... and this BS people say about long wait times. I ve never waited more then 5 minutes, and I ve been there a lot lately. Do yourself a favor, go here!

Was transferred to another provider by simply requesting they share my medical records. Was told by two office staff that they could not and would never see me again, even after I explicility declined the transfer and expressed my wish to keep BFM as my primary care. They both sounded like they genuinely enjoyed being completely unreasonable and unwilling to listen. Completely dumbfounded. Will be filing a complaint with my insurance provider, the state, the Joint if they have somehow managed to keep accreditation with negligent practices like these.

Staff seems to be technologically challenged. If you send emails do not expect a response. They have a nice online portal but still seem to operate by phone/ pen and paper.

I have been a patient for many years and once Dr Truman and Diane Rothers left the practice, I found the staff began to change and only a few familiar faces remained. It s like a cattle call during your visit, the doctor has one foot out of the door during your visit because of time constraints eastablished by those in charge. A couple faux pas by the doctors, practitioners and the office staff have my husband and I looking for quality medical care.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Although Dr. Lori Truman, is a wonderful and brilliant physician, Dr. Files and the office staff aren't worth it. Each time a patient walks through the door, you can almost hear Dr. Files say "Cha-ching" under his breath. He cares about money, not you. I hurt his "whittle feelins'" once and he now refuses to be my doctor, but won't release my medical records until I pay for them (at a price too ludicrous to even type!). This guy is a real character and I wouldn't send my dog to his office. Run for the hills.

Now...about that office staff. Rude and helpless.

If Dr. Truman ever makes the wise choice to start up her own practice, I'll be there with bells on, but for now...run run run.

I've overall had a positive set of experiences with the office staff and doctors. I have 3 kids who regularly have instances of sickness or injury and they can always accommodate them or me. The only thing keeping them from 5 stars is the sometimes excessive wait times between the initial nurse and the actual doctor (longest wait 41 min average wait 8 min).

I am really not understanding the bad reviews here! I switched to this group, after seeing the same Dr for more than 25 years. I switched, because I saw how much they truly care about my mother, every single time I have taken her there. I now, have had to go several times and every time, I waited no longer than 15 minutes, the people who work in the office are extremely professional and personable and my Dr., Cindy Hackbart is amazing!!

i been a customer for a long time , and all this years i never see any problems there , they are always good , and i love the doctor , she is the best , i don't know where all this bad reviews are coming from , but on my experience they are great from the front counter to doctors and ladies on the back .

This office is horrible. First they need to get ride of their staff. Communication in this office between staff members and doctors need to be implemented. I have received wrong information numerous times. The staff is not educated enough to give lab results to patients, it should be the doctor. ALSO, when a patient has questions the doctor should take time to call that patient at the end of their business day. That's what a good doctor would have done. I have also received another's
person labs results in with my lab results. I beleive that is a HIPPA violation.

Dr Lewis is a compassionate, caring doctor who truly takes care of his elderly patients...

The home visits are most appreciated since my MIL was unable to get to the office...

I just heard today that some of you're employees mocked one of you're patients in the background while they were on the phone?!! That is disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves to be that disrespectful and mistreating of patients who are just looking for help. Wow, this place needs to be held accountable, that is just wrong on so many levels!!! Do not go here.

My wife and I have been going there for twenty-five years. Their hours are very convenient, they can fit you into their schedule quite readily, the people are nice, and they seem to be quite competent (and of course, competence should be a number one factor in choosing your medical care providers.) I trust and recommend them.

I recommend you never go to this office .The staff is incredibly rude. They make u use theyert recommend Ed doctors and will not write you a perscription for the doctor you choose.I asked them for my records they sent me a bill in the amount of $80.12 .I only went to that office 7 times 69 pages REALLY .THEY ARE HORRIBLE I WOULDN'T GIVE THEM A ONE STAR THEY DESERVE 0. I needed a perscription for a biosbi for breast cancer they said I needed to go to they're surgeon first.I had a biopsy appointment for the next day in the city they would not write me a perscription.Again we are talking about breast cancer.and they would not let me go to Philadelphia .I went back to my original family doctor got the perscription no problem DO NOT GO HERE.

I am a new patient at this practice and Doctor Mallory Patino is the Best. I have never gone to a Doctor who is more thorough, patient, and kind. She explains everything in detail and takes her time and doesn t rush through your appointment. I Highly Recommend Dr. Patino if your looking for a Good Doctor and want satisfaction. It s your health and you don t want to settle for anything less than the Best!

Dr. Files is the only doctor I've ever had in my 30 years on this earth and I wouldn't ever consider seeing anybody else. He's caring, attentive, and kind. My entire family has gone to him and has had nothing but positive experiences. The title of Doctor is a very loosely thrown around word that we take for granted but Dr. Files is a genuine and caring person. You could have every degree in the world on your wall but without those qualities I've mentioned above, they're meaningless. Thanks you Dr. Files and to all your wonderful staff for over 30 years of compassion and overall great care you have provided. Words simply fall short.

I had a dispute with them and my insurance company. They told me were sending over a referral to a specialist then right after my appointment I was advised they changed their mind. They decided after the fact that I would pay for the appointment because the miscommunication in their office. 2 days later the referral was sent over cause another staff person said there was no reason not too. But now I am told that I have been discharged from their office due to me fighting for what was right. Horrible staff manager John, he was extremely unprofessional!!!

I have been taking my daughter to this office for 23 yrs. Absolutely LOVE Dr Files ! My ultimate Favorite Doctor. I even got my Mom and Sister to go to this office .

I have been a patient with this doctor's office for the last 8 years atleast. I never used to review their bills . I just have been paying whatever the bill I get. I happened to review one of most recent bill that I received . From my experience I would suggest to STAY AWAY & NEVER AGAIN to this place. These people are more salesy and their only intention to how add more services (even though it is not needed). Just because they have some expensive medical equipment, it doesn't mean they have to use
them everyone who walks in. I feel everybody there has a quota to retire. I went there to remove a wart (Because, I had a wart removed earlier at this place). They removed the wart and they did not stop there. They did EKG , Blood work , and other tests which was not necessary at all. I got the bill which is almost 3X of what I was expecting ( I was expecting a certain $$ based based on my previous experience). I called and inquired about the bill. I spoke to a lady ( i dint get her name).. what a RUDE response. Had I done this to any of my customer I would have been fired. They need to understand money is a byproduct . Honesty and Good customer service is more important and hat will bring in more patients and $$. #immoral, #dishonest , #$$ minded , #RUDEest customer service.

BIGGEST JOKE - I was told that I must be feeling happy instead of questioning about the service I got LOL..

We use to take our child here and didn t have to many complaints. Ended up finding a different place and doctor that fit us more. Today my child was sick and our current place was closed. I thought maybe I could call this place since they have some history with him and possibly give us a recommendation on what to do. Instead I got a since you left we can no longer do anything for you. Found that to be rather weird to come from a place that is meant to help people.

Great practice if you just come in and do whatever they tell you. Don't ask questions and God Forbid you should ever ask for a 2nd opinion. Save your time and sanity and go elsewhere. Also very rude and condescending staff. You've been warned.

Doctor Files and Diane Rother are awesome. The office staff are polite and friiendly.

Love this office!! The staff are very friendly I was seeing cynthia and I absolutely loved her it's unfortunate she's not there anymore so now I have to start seeing another dr but most of the ones I've seen are very genuine and care about their patients

I have been going to this practice now for at least 15 years and they all have been great to me. I was very sad to see Dr. Lori Truman-Kraft leave but all is good. I continue to see Dr. Mike and Dr. Danny Files which are both excellent! I just hope that those two Doctors stay for the long run!

I'm surprised at the bad reviews. We've had nothing less than great experiences with this office! The doctors are kind and friendly, the office staff and nurses are helpful and friendly. We've never waited more that 15m in the waiting room or exam room to be seen. They fit us in with our minor emergencies immediatly. With multiple doctors on staff there is only one that we aren't fond of and I think that boils down to miscommunication on both sides.

I'm looking for another practice.. it feels like the McDonald's of medicine

I don t know how this place still has patients. Rudest staff I ve ever had to deal with. They could care less about people s well being. I wish i could leave 0 stars because 1 is too many. Would not recommend. Ever.

I had such a frustation time I just have to say... Im a human not take out, Do Not Go Here..I had a rash or somthing around my face nose chin during the virus breakout. I thought was the mask? Had the teleadoc, then in person...while in the office blood work there was a dead mouse. just saying .... Since at last May I have been seen and three time called in a Steroids treatment. I finish the meds and there it is back...they told me to call if not cleared up so I did.. Today yes Aug ...three time they blew me off gice it time to work...what...?
Today I called and just wanted to have the doctor call me or if I make appoitment is a follow up, because since all this time IM unemployed and no health benefits.. so its a concern to me the man was rude and I asked to speak to someone else because I wasnt getting anyway... He comes back to tell me he is the manager..well I had him listen to my concerns and he said he will talk to the doc and let me.know! So they called in another streriod..thatnks to wallmart text I wpuld have mot even known .and the not its for an itch cream...this was not what I said on the phone no itch is going on here...so now I paid for a medcine I didnt really know or NEED. "what it did I had to look it up" on my already stressed budget I do not have money to waste. Why no call back from the office or ask me to come in asap for a free follow up or call...they did the teleadoc before..what the problem now!!!
Im so Frustrated that an office does not take the time to call you back or listen to your concerns this is my body...Im taking myself elsewhere...

if your ever switching to another medical office, be sure to retrieve any medical documents from patient portal (at least the ones that have been uploaded) prior to switching as they will delete your patient portal account as soon as they are notified of the transfer in order to charge you to forward any copies of medical records.

I have been a patient for 19 years and have never had a problem. I don t understand the bad reviews people have written. The staff is great, the doctors are excellent and very caring. If there is an issue with any testing someone will always call you to let you know the results. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable medical team

I've been with them literally since I was born and I'm 23 now. Couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The staff knows me by name and everyone's so kind.

I always schedule my appointments with Michael Morganstern since he as been there for a longer period of time and seems to be more personable. The only thing is that the wait times are pretty long.

Everyone at this office is great. All of the providers are very well educated and professional with so many years of education and experience between them. Patients ALWAYS come first and their voice is always heard when course of care plans are being made. Care you can trust! Love seeing how so many generations of families all stick with their providers.

Dr Danny is without question the greatest family doctor I've ever had. He has gone above and beyond what a primary physician typically does, in more than one circumstance, and has helped me in a multitude of areas in my life that I would never expect. That being said, there is in particular one other doctor (that I won't mention for my sake in case I have no option but to see them) who I refuse to see as he has typically been quite rude and generally uncomforting. Some of the new staff at the front who answer the phones and such over the last few years haven't been quite the best either, but nothing near horrible enough to make me switch from the practice, or even Danny (the son) alone. There have been two other really good doctors that used to work there as well but unfortunately don't anymore, and I can't really speak on any of the new doctors. I can understand how new patients might be discouraged or warded off, but I couldn't say good enough things about Danny and some of the original staff like Maddy.

Poorly run. I tried scheduling an appointment and sat on hold for 23 mins just to be told I had a balance and I couldn t schedule my appointment (I was never informed of the balance for missing an appointment)

Everytime I come here I regret it and will not be returning. I've been waiting for an hour now waiting on the doctor to come in. If you are too busy to see patients that is fine, but don't overbook appoints for your benefit. This place is not effienct, competent, or friendly.

Funny that you try and talk to a medical professional and they put a receptionist on the phone to tell you to come back in and discuss medical concerns when you were just there 2 hours earlier. I use to not believe the bad reviews but now I experienced it first hand. If a physician has to talk over you because of your concerns then something is wrong. JAREN, the receptionist is horrible. He is rude and just wants to get you off the phone when you call. I guess I will now have to look for a new doctor. The two people I dealt with two are the worse. I do like Dr Dan and many others but this left a bad taste in my mouth.

I switched last year from margiotti and kroll peds to bucks family medicine and i couldnt be happier. They are kind, and always answer the phone quickly and dont make us come in for an appointment for every little thing.

Been going here for a few years now. I finally found a primary that listens and takes care of my concerns. Mallory is the best! Their website is a great tool to contact them for simple stuff instead of having to call in and wait for a call back.

Wow! They will never get my business again! I just called to ask a question regarding my health since they have been the only dr office I ve seen since moving into the area. I barely got a word in before the rude receptionist cut me off and basically told me they can t help me. Yeah well they can go kick rocks. This is the reason why people are using urgent cares anymore!
