Atmosphere was nice but the clam chowder was terrible I actually ended up sending it back

The food was pretty good. Super busy on the weekend. The wait was an hour and getting our food was another 45 minutes. Our food was warm and fries were cold. Welp.

I have to say, for a chain and for being so touristy, this place is not bad! I have been to a few locations, here, San Francisco and even in Florida and is very consistent and pretty good. The drinks are also surprisingly good!

If you are already in a good mood and not against spending some money, the staff at Bubba Gump won't let you down. The food might, though. The service is pretty good, the food is edible but nothing great. The fruity mixed drinks are refreshing and get the job done, if that's the kind of job you like doing.

Loved coming here during Spring Break. Had lots of fun while I was there!

Bubba Gump is a chain of seafood restaurant. Thing like Applebee's of seafood. The food is nothing spectacular, but they are kid friendly, and standardized. Our visit included a wait to be seated, and rather lackluster service. The food is typical of general American cuisine having too much sugar, oil, and salt. Would not really recommend this chain, except that it's easy to feed a family here, and the kids enjoyed it.

The fish and chips are very good. The fish is very fresh and juicy and it melts in your mouth.

Came in for lunch from the Aquarium. Waited 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order, then we left. Sly McFly's is much better.

Great food and atmosphere, one of my favorite places in Monterey.

I had never seen the movie so I had the chicken sandwich. There is a lot to look at. And the birthday song is good and obnoxious. We had a great time although the iced tea was not clear.

The coolest place ever. Everything you would imagine from the movie and the food is great. Service is amazing and really engaging. Like peas and carrots.

Love the fried shrimp and coconut shrimp. It us always delicious. The interactions with the staff about the movie is still a lot of fun! Always a worthwhile trip.

Great views! Kid/stroller friendly. Staff takes and parks your stroller in safe area.

Food was ok. Very loud atmosphere. Staff were great. Not high end, but not bottom of the barrel either.

We were told wait time would be 45 minutes and we were seated right around that time. It was about 2 PM and was pretty busy. Our server was friendly and the food was great. Would have given 5 stars except my husbands food I think was forgotten and didn't arrive until the rest of us were almost done eating. The server knew his mistake and told us he would remove it from our ticket. The problem was quickly resolved and eventually my husbands food arrived hot and fresh! Near perfect experience!

A notable lack of heating in the icy restaurant. Take a bobble hat and gloves. Food was pretty good.

A little on the pricy side, but it what good seafood place isn't. Our waitress was a little slow on the uptake, but that didn't hurt the experience. It's always worth the trip.

It helps a little bit that they were having a car show in the area. 5 Koenigsegg Agera's were sitting hour front.

Crowded but still super great service! Mostly fried fish but was delicious. Melt in your mouth flounder, calamari and shrimp!

Trevia is the idea of this restaurant as it is based on the movie Forrest Gump so expect to be asked questions about the movie. Shrimp is the next big one. You can eat shrimp here in how ever manner pleases you till you are sick of it. Great vibe. Gift shop at the door for memories.

This place will always hold a special place in my heart being it was my Dad's favorite. The staff are so nice and helpful. Plus for being as busy as they were the service was still pretty quick. I had the Ceasar salad with grilled shrimp and it was perfect. The shrimp had some great seasoning and the dressing was great. My nieces ordered kids meals and they came in little cardboard boats. It's the little extra touches that make it more of an experience rather than just grabbing a bit. Can't wait to go back.

LOTS of fun, good food (I ordered a shrimp item), lots of memorabilia from the movie "Forest Gump". Waitress quizzed us on our memory of the movie. LOL.

The place is always busy. Views of the bay can still be appreciated from a lot of the seating.

The food is good, however, lasts more than an hour in which they served us. The justification was that we were many (12 people) and had to wait for everyone's food to be prepared. But if they served them first to other tables that came after us.

This is a place that I have loved eating at since it was first built I have never been disappointed in any meal I've ordered, I enjoy getting items at the gift shop as well my only disappointment is them not serving Dr.Pepper it's like hello that Forest favorite drink .

It was very relaxing as we sat in the bar to have are meal and enjoy happy hour. Dinner was outstanding and delicious.

Not worth the price or the hype. The drinks were weak. The food was not good at all, the old fryer oil, plus being way over cooked. Portions were small as well... The customer service was ok... 2nd time for us eating here... it will be the last...

It was decent, there was so much hype I heard prior to going and honestly I didn't find anything unique about the food. Good service.

Fantastic!! Food, service, and extremely friendly personal make BUBBAS our favorite place on Cannery Row. We go there ever time my Grandson comes home (from college) or special occasions. THE BEST!

They told us the wait was 20 min, after an hour we still were waiting outside with 2 hungry toddlers. Bad customer service.

Bubba would roll over in his grave. Service was fast, friendly and fun, however the food is so bad and overrated. Im sure everything was frozen before it hit the plate, portions are small and really generic.

We travel a lot and love when we find a place that is familiar but fits with the theme of the area. The wait staff was excellent and food couldn't be better. P.S. know your Forest Gump facts they have trivia!!!

I expected better from this Restaurant, especially where it is. Food was very greasy & bland. Wait staff was great, but the food ... not so much. Seagulls would not even eat the fish. Best thing about this place were the drinks & the view.

Shrimp bucket very good and the lobster butter sauce with telapia was excellent.

Best place for fish and shrimps. Cocktails are pretty good too. But be prepared for wait time of 45 minutes +. So i highly advice advance booking. Some of the bubba gumps do not take reservations for the same day. My favorite is accidental fishand shrimp with lobster sauce. Keep up Bubba gump.

We got extremely lucky to have a window seat and was able to watch 4 whale's have some fun in the ocean... The food was great too.
