i needed help badly for my cellulitis as this thin...

i needed help badly for my cellulitis as this things can become serious very quick. i told them i had history of cellulitis and that i already experienced twice getting a small surgery due to this condition and that it can really get worst so fast.

Doctor told me she can t prescribe me antibiotics, i really need even a low dose of antibiotics or i will go through the painful experience of the surgery and a couple weeks off or even a month from work.

Even sent them a photo and my swelling is already quite getting big.

my family doctor is not available and usually a walk-in clinic never fails to give me low dose of antibiotics.

very disappointed and afraid at this moment. just surprised of how their Doctor handled my situation.

secretaries at this clinic are almost always horribly rude. however, today I went to the clinic with a question and before I even finished my inquiry, the lady ( big, strawberry blonde, wearing pink lipstick and black glasses) was already rolling her eyes. she constantly interrupted me while I was speaking with her and made no eye contact. I was so frustrated, I was asking if I could register for the afternoon. she proceeded to complain that she had to complete the book she had in from of her and made it a point to bang the desk while she was talking so that it was obvious to me that she was tired of speaking with me. sick of the lack of customer service, I walked away and behind me she yelled "YOU'RE WELCOME"

Since we just moved from another province, the rules of the clinics here in Montreal or exactly in West Island are very different. I asked the medical secretary in the front how it works she answered as if I was supposed to know how it works, she could not explain clearly how it works. She was giving the information in a rude way. I felt very uncomfortable that moment. The second time I went with my family to see the doctor she did the same thing when my husband asked her if he could register and then go and come back because the waiting room was full, (and that's what she told the first time I have seen her, that people come register at an early time and then go and come back because the waiting time was long) she responded to my husband in a rude way '" do you want to jump the line?" and with sarcasm. it was not what he meant but she jumped to conclusions. She is not nice nor patient, she is not professional at all and she acts like people are giving her a hard time. she is doing the least that she can do.

I had an appointment today at 3 p.m. for which I must be fasting. I am called a few hours before to inform me that the appointment must be postponed because the radiologist "wants to leave earlier". Incredibly unprofessional. In the best of worlds, they could have given me another, more credible reason.

It's not like there are any missing x-ray clinics. I'm going to choose another one.

Receptionist is so rude and unethical. She let a person she knows skip waiting right after she finished telling a few elderly people that they were completely full for the day. When questioned about her actions she denied knowing this person (when we all clearly heard thier conversation). Then she justified her actions by saying he was extremely sick... In the mean time he walked out of the clinic within 45 mins smilling, while the rest of us salamis are waiting 4hrs!

I went to the private clinic cause I found out that I was having twins, the doctor I got was the worst. His name was Dr. kawerk he showed little to no interest in me and would crack jokes with my boyfriend.. When doing my pap test a nurse came in and he left the tools inside me and sat back with his arms behind his head like it was some kind of show. The next time I went was on my birthday, my appointment was for 2 and he left me in the waiting room for 2 hours then when he saw me he didn't even bring me into his office he just said how is everything? and when I said good he sent me on my way, no next appointment or anything.... any women going there I recommend you not go.. worst place ever.. so happy I switched doctors...

I have a very bad experience in this clinic. Receptionist is extremely rude. She answered all questions like I owned her money for the long time and didn t return them. Isn t suppose to be a first person who makes you feel welcome?! Specially when we are talking about sick peoples who are already don t feel well. She made me wait hours before calling to update the file, and I was with my two months baby. When I asked her if there is any priorities for children that age, she rolled her eyes and told me that everyone is sick if I noticed. I had to fight to make them see my son without being all day there. It s a baby that physically cannot stay hours and hours in clinic.I used to love this clinic, unfortunately not anymore. You can have the modernest technology and still be the worst just because you are not human being.

HAD TO GO GET MY GALLBLADDER REMOVED BECAUSE I HAD TO WAIT FOR THIS DOCTOR CRUZ TO GET BACK TO ME. I HAD GALLBLADDER STONES WITH SOME INFECTION. BUT DOCTOR CRUZ SAID AFTER TESTS THAT I DIDNT HAVE AN INFECTION.
AT THE ULTRASOUND , I ASKED WHAT I HAVE AND THE RESPONSIBLE EVEN SHOWED ME THE STONES. THEN I ASKED WHATS NEXT? AND THEY SAID I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY NEXT APPOINTMENT WITH DOCTOR CRUZ. IMPOSSIBLE. WAS A FOLLOWUP SCHEDULED ? NO! IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH DOCTOR CRUZ AND THERES NO PHONE NUMBER AND RECEPTION DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO HELP.
I WAITED ANOTHER 2 DAYS , NO CALL BACK. I HAD TO RUSH TO THE EMERGENCY WHERE THEY KEPT ME FOR 3 DAYS AND I HIT CRITICAL CONDITION. MORPHINE INJECTIONS WERE NOT WORKING ANYMORE. ALMOST 3 WEEKS LATER SHE HAS THE NERVE TO CALL ME BACK AND TELL ME I HAVE YOUR ULTRASOUND RESULTS. I DO NOT EVEN HAVE A GALLBLADDER ANYMORE AND BEEN RECOVERING FOR 12 DAYS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DERMATOLOGIST MICHAEL SINGER *** I had an appointment with Doctor Singer in dermatology, an appointment I ve been waiting for for over a year now as per family doctor referral , once the time came I had to wait 2 hours to see the Dermatologist, my appointment was at 10am, only saw the Doctor at 12 .... Asked him about my skin conditions, doctor could barely come up with any solutions.... for acne take the pill, for sun marks he says there is nothing to do, for enlarged pores nothing to do, any problem I would point out and ask for advice he would just sit and nod no ........ my appointment lasted 15 min. I would not stop going because I love my doctor and OB/GYN however the secretaries obviously hate their jobs, they never have a smile on their face a rarely great you. You always feel like you are "disturbing them" It's really too bad. They should work on their staff considering we pay for the extra services and it ain't cheap.

What's wrong with the Gynecology Department in this Medical Center??? They never answer the stupid phone!!! My wife has been calling for a week with no answer and she's already 8 months pregnant. She needs to see her doctor urgently, but we can't reach her anywhere.

Well my gyneco and a bunch of other drs and staff members moved from this clinic, it was surprising but i never really thought about until today. I realized that indeed it's one of the worst clinics in Montreal! Unprofessional, lazy and unproductive staff! if you're a first time visitor, do not rely on information you find online, the clinic opens at 7am not 8. 90% of the time they stop taking patients as early as 8am!!! With the new 'triage' procedure, it got worse!!! If you're going there, you should take the day off! You're minimum waiting time is 6hrs!! The staff is rude, never helpful and would never give you an estimate. Yoy just sit there and wait, wether u get there early it doesn't matter, you can always end up there.
If you're to go there, have some snacks, extra battery/or charger, some toys or a book... make yourself comfortable cz u're gonna be there a while... at this point ER is way faster!

WOULD RATE 0 IF I COULD!!! Literally the worst medical service I've ever had, and I've been to Lakeshore. The walk in opens at 730, I was there at 945, got told they're full for the day - HOW??!!! I got referred to see a nurse practitioner (nurse with a master's degree), all in all about an 8 hour wait. I was there because an injury that I sustained to my leg a while ago was acting up again and I have severe bone pain in my leg. ALL I WANTED WAS AN X-RAY. I WAITED ALL DAY TO GET TOLD "ITS NOT THAT BAD, PUT SOME ICE ON IT, TAKE SOME ADVIL, IF IT'S WORSE IN 3 WEEKS, COME BACK" WHAT???!!!!!!!! This is publicly founded health care, so I basically PAID to get told to ignore my injury and pain, and by the time it gets much much worse, MAYBE they'll consider helping me.

I went this morning and it was a fantastic experience. After reading all these reviews, I can't believe what people expect. I'll summarize:

1. Arrived at 7:10am, was inside by 7:15, done by 9:30.
2. Doctors were fantastic, a special thanks to the nurse for re-assuring me and for Doctor Moreau for explaining everything thoroughly (I had about 5 questions).
3. Be polite and respectful, it goes a long way. It's called being a "human".
4. Bring a book or watch Mr.Bean - Both were great.
5. Reminder that our healthcare is free. 'Nuff said

The staff don't answer the phone or return the calls. No use of leaving a message, they won't listen to it anyway. Sometimes they hangup on you while you're on hold. The only way to get an appointment is to go there in person, which is a waste of gas and time. I'm not going to take time off of work just to do that; it's ridiculous in this day and age. I wish I had an option to choose 0 stars.

Was referred to the paediatrics department from a family friend.

Upon arrival was greeted with open arms from the secretary Mary who is very helpful kind and patient. She is amazing and even helped book future appointments and services needed for my newborn at other sister clinics. Her positive attitude and kind spirit helped create ease to this new mother who is learning the ropes. Her graceful attitude and positive energy made my doctors appointment very pleasant and enjoyable. 10/10

The doctor referred was Marcia Antunes. She was also amazing and helpful with my 101 questions I needed answered. She is very patient and not pushy or rushed. She answered every question I had and I left the clinic feeling very relaxed and content. The wait time to see the doctor was very prompt as she was on time. 10/10

I would highly recommend Dr. Antunes as a paediatrician and if you have the opportunity to have Mary greet you upon arrival you will be very pleased.

Booking an appointment for a check-up here is a nightmare: no voice mail, barely ever get a hold of the receptionist(s?), and my doctor doesn't accept appointments further than 3 weeks in advance (?!... Is this a private practice?). Get a voice mail, please, your patients most likely have jobs and possibly can't call before 4:30pm.

My experience with the clinic varied. Sometimes the doctor is so late that a booked appointment is delayed by 2 or 3 hours for everyone! One time, it was actually pretty good and i waited for only 20 minutes for my turn. Another time, I booked an appointment by phone and when I finally came to the clinic it wasn't in their system, but they were nice enough to give me a turn after 2 hours of waiting instead of sending me home.

Our pediatrician moved under the Brunswick Medical Centre. Aside from having a nice new building, admin staff is terrible. It's now 7:25am and we called to see if we can get an appointment. We've been on hold for more than 10' and I'm pretty sure the place is closed. Who sets up their phone systems!? We had a similar situation a few weeks ago, where we called in the middle of the day, no response! Geez, it's not that hard to setup a place properly in this day and age!

the Doctor was funny and very plesant and was even able to prescribe me something for my congestion from allergies!

I also had a consultation with a surgeon in the building too who removed my gall bladder Dr.Pascal ,L
he was very plesant and right to the point dispite taking 3 months to get the operation after many manu attacks he was able to assure my safty and a good check up to :D better then STAT CARE

Unfortunately I am just another 1 star review that would like to give 0 stars! How can you have such clueless people working at a professional establishment. I wouldn't let these people be a host at a drunk bar let alone try and have concern for patients.

Unfortunately, we had to see a Dr. P . Daignault today at this center.
I have NEVER met a doctor this arrogant and rude . He is an AWFULLY condescending personality with no compassion and empathy for patients.
As a health professional myself , I believe that this man doesn't belong to the medical profession. Even if he has knowledge (hopefully!) , his extremely arrogant and rude manners will tarnish it to the point of no beneficial results for the patient.
I would avoid this man at all costs.

If you want to be in and out quick..you have to get up at 5:00 am to be at the clinic door at 6h00 am. No jokes. The building will open only at 7:00 am, but there will be people waiting at the door around 6h00 am or 6h30. Then you go inside and wait from 7h00 am to 8h00 am for them to open the doors of the clinic at 8h00, but sometimes they will open the doors at 7h30 am if they see there is a lot of people. Hope that helps! If you arrive at 7h30 or 8h00....you will be in for a surprise of 30-40 people already there before you; and you may not even be able to pass before lunch-time...

Me and my son were very sick back in February. My paediatrician not being available i sent my baby with my mother in law and my mom to see a doctor at the walk-in. My son was in really bad shape with high fever, but they refusef to see him because i wasent there. So i had to go there and miss my appointement at my doctor... Doctor saw him and sent my son home saying it was viral. Even though we insisted he should do xrays. Well that very night he got worse so we rushed to the hospital to find out he had severe pneumonia, and had to be hospitalized. Had the doctor at the walkin be a better doctor and sent for xrays we would have know earlier and starting antibiotics just 12 hrs earlier would have made a huge difference. Do not send your babies there.

Very disorganized clinic with very rude staff ,the reception is the worst. I went there this morning they told me come in at 12:30 in the afternoon not knowing that 40 ppl are before me and they all had to come at 12:30 as well.
When I asked the reception how many ppl are before me to see the doctor, she yelled at me and said I dont know sir.

I appreciate the few times I visited the walk-in clinic but I hate the unnecessary long wait time. You spend the whole day there for something that could talk couple of hours max, although they don t accept huge number of patients like other places.

I arrived this morning at 8 am when the clinic opens and there were already 41 people ahead of me and 3 doctors on duty.. With that number of weak, feverish, suffering, vomiting and coughing patients who should be at home in bed, there should be at least 6 doctors on duty. No one should wait more than an hour. I did the math and like the last time, the wait was going to be 3 - 4 hours. I advise people to do as I did and go home for a couple of hours. Even resting in one's car is a better idea than sitting for hours and hours in a crowded, germ infested reception room. The last time I counted on a patient being seen every 15 minutes but it is more like 20 minutes on average. Better to get there with a good half hour to wait rather than risk missing your turn because if you do, you have to return the next day.
I do enjoy the TV recordings of Just for Laughs and Mr Bean. They sure do make the time pass.

Horrible experience with the walk-in clinic. They are doing phone consultations because of the pandemic. I asked the triage nurse if I could see a doctor in-person because my health issue has been worsening over the past few weeks despite previous phone consultations and I wanted a physical evaluation. She outright refused, repeated that their doctors exclusively do phone consultations, and was not helpful when I asked her to refer me somewhere else where I could get in-person care. I should hope that if a doctor there thinks a physical exam is necessary, that they would arrange for it to be done, because otherwise that is negligent. Telehealth makes sense for some health problems, but not for others. I understand the concern for limiting the spread of Covid-19, but most other health professionals are currently operating with appropriate PPE and patient screening to ensure the risk of transmission is as low as possible (presently you can see dentists, physiotherapists, optometrists, podiatrists and pharmacists). I am concerned about the standard of care at this clinic after my interaction with this nurse, especially since she offered no guidance to me. I ended up finding a different clinic where I was seen in-person after the initial phone consultation and received a proper diagnosis and follow-up.

If Dr Daignault is working, go home and come back. He misdiagnosed me a few times. One time he said I had a cold when I had bronchitis, today he said I had a cold when it is clearly a sinus infection. The receptionist Neila was awesome and very helpful and professional. Dr Schachter and Dr Neamtallah are amazing and always helpful.

Had a phone consultation. Appointment was at 3h10 was a while to speak with the doctor (finally at 8h45 pm) so a little while to have a call but the triage nurse was very nice and understanding made me feel super comfortable. Spoke with Dr.Zaharia minai-christian and he was very helpful understanding, empathetic and competent he asked the right questions and i felt heard (wich is rare by doctors in my experience). I was dreading the consultation by all the negative reviews i have seen here but i am very pleased with my own experience here.
