It's an ok place place to eat at. Decent prices for most of the food, wait staff was pretty good, but the food could use more flavor. The roast beef sandwich I had was bland but filling.

Love this place, but I have a gluten intolerance. (No it's not a diet. I literally cant eat it) I told the waiter just want salad and french onion soup. No croutons. No bread at all. Got the soup first. It was delish. Then, I discovered bread in it...great. I just consumed a wheat protein. The waiter came by and I asked if there was any bread in it, she said yes, I said I cant have wheat or any gluten, I'm allergic. She apologized and took the soup and took it off the bill. Then the salad came. WITH croutons. :( since i was already glutened i didnt make a bog deal and picked them off. I wish waiters in GENERAL would just respect people's wishes. It's not a doet it's a food allergy....

Best Reuben I've had in a while. Corn beef stacked high, and the marble rye was toasted just right.

Menu not the same...taco salad is gone, not happy with the new owner

Great local place in Toledo Ohio. Dined there 3 times during my visit and food quality and service was excellent. Very friendly atmosphere.

Ordered a double half pound burger, lots of onions , lots of beef amazingly delicious. Good atmosphere, nice staff. Overall fairly good service. Highly recommend giving it a go.

The food was good hot roast beef and mashed potatoes is delicious!

The food was scrumptious, the flavors were phenomenonal and our waitress Amy was very attentive to the fact that I have an allergy, not only did she write it in her notes, she put it on the ticket for the cooks and walked to the kitchen as well to ensure that my food was prepped and cooked safely. Will be back for sure.

This was our first time here, and we were beyond impressed! The food was fantastic just as the pictures portrayed. We were very satisfied and plan on coming again!

Food was great and service was awesome! I didn't like the lemonade however, but everything else was phenomenal!

It's 9:37 pm and we walk in to eat and get told we are closing because we aren't busy, business is supposed to be open till 11pm. Sorry but I'll take my business someplace else from now on

Love the food there! And the workers are fantastic they keep on coming by and asking you if you need anything usually places they serve you and then you don't see him not at the brownstone they come all the time and very friendly thank you brownstone people!!!

The one star is for the bartender that kept us company while we waited more then an hour for a table....Once seated we only had our menus to keep us company for almost a half hour....after that my wife had to ask the manager if someone would be taking our order...the manager told a waitress to help us...she snapped back that's not my section!!.....finally our order was taken...My wife received yesterdays pasta with her shrimp scampi....I received a rare steak as ordered ,,,but I guess I should have mentioned I didn't want it ice cold!!!....We set the bar low for our 11th anniversary dinner to bad this horrible place lowered the bar further!!!

Love this place, good food and good times. Owner is always there and very welcoming and friendly. The food is awesome and doesn't break your wallet.

Best grilled chicken sandwich around! Hubby had fish and chips and loved it.

This is a great place to be if you want your car broken into. On three separate occasions while I was eating mediocre food inside cars in the parking lot were broken into and valuables were stolen. The management has done absolutely nothing to protect their clientele against this reoccurring issue. They have not installed signage, security cameras, fencing, or anything else to deter the theft. Pretty soon they will be seeing a lawsuit. Eventually when someone's child is in a car, or when someone gets hurt, they will care. By the way, I can make it better meal with the broken glass in the parking lot.

The drinks are great but OMG the food. Yikes. My boyfriend's burger was covered in crappy microwave bacon. I got the only vegetarian option which is a stir fry. Honestly the worst thing I have ever gotten from a restaurant. It wasn't seasoned, the vegetables weren't cooked properly and they were drowned in grease. There were also gnats swirling around us the whole time. My boyfriend and I will never go back.

Jig dinner was great the meat was so tender. But, the meat used in the ruben was was not as tender.

Ordered garlic chicken/vegetables it had no flavor. And deep fried cod was salty. But the french onion soup was delicious.

Definitely a favorite, especially Prime Rib weekends. Great food service and price

Food was ok, drink was not good at all. Waitress was very nice. Some of the prices are a little high, and quantity not very big. It was just ok in my opinion.

Last wk-end my wife and I ordered two large Salads and a large onion rings, and it just wasn't very good. The onion ring were very greasy and stuck together so when you went to grab one they stuck together and they had run out cucumbers on my salad. We ordered it to go, we knew the previous owner and staff and I know they wouldn't have served us this way. Probably won't go back. Good luck to the new owners and hope your food turns out better for your customers cause we spent $ 27.00 and it wasn't worth it. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Good food , staff is helpful and most of them are friendly... I had the best of all of our visit with the bartender Emily ... She was the coolest and most funny server we have ever had there. She made me and my boyfriend night ..she was so so funny and made us feel like we were friends!

Great service by Amy! Our food was every bit as good!!!! Was a first time visit and will most definitely be back again!! Had the NY strip steak baked potato with bacon, cheese and butter. Also had the chicken n dumplings soup with garlic bread!!! Worth the whole 500 character review!

We are here eating and the food is TERRIBLE. I don't know what happened in the kitchen, but I don't believe we will come back, ever since new management took over, this place is terrible. I ordered a BBQ beef sandwich and got a sandwich with just beef, no BBQ and dry. Nasty. Stay away.

It is not the same you can tell there are new owners 3 of us had liver and onions the liver was good but the onions were raw and the things they call home fries were nasty boiled potatoes sliced 1 had fish and chips he said it was delicious 2 had philly steak sandwich said it was nasty 3 had onion rings said they were delicious 1 had chicken wings said were ok .prices were good just hope they can make it

The hamburger had an off taste and the correct burger wasn't to the correct person. The waitress was very good and attentive.

I love The Brownstone and all the regulars that go there we have a good time

It was really good! My French onion soup was yummy! My husband had a burger and he said it was the best burger he had in awhile.

Our food was not good at all. My wife's country steak was very tough and overcooked. It was inedible. My perch dinner was not any better, it was left in the fryer too long. It was crusty and not tasty. Our waitress did a very good job. We will not be returning.

My fav here is liver and onions! Always a daily special...reasonable prices.

We used to come here a lot, then we moved farther away and just stopped in today. The service was great, but the food was just ok. Not as good as we remembered.

I went to the Brownstone today with my daughter for lunch. We had the Rueben Sandwich. Fantastic!!!! Pilled high with Corned-Beef and the service was excellent!!! Nice young lady named Josie waited on us. Beautiful smile and very nice!!! The place could use some remodeling!!! A little drab and a little small and tight fit in there. Food and Service was excellent tho. I will definitely go back!!!

I have just had the absolute best burger I have ever eaten.
I have to say I haver never had a bad meal here and the service is always great.

Love there Tuesday 2 for $20 special. It's not an epic size steak but they do a great job on the grill!
