My experience at Bosak was AMAZING. I emailed in to them on Sunday and they were closed and they still responded right back to my inquiry. They called me first thing Monday morning! I told them what I was interested in and they got everything ready for me for when I came in and the process was smooth sailing from there. They put me in a vehicle they assumed I would love due to the information I provided them as to what I was looking for and it was PERFECT. I left with that vehicle. I would recommend anyone to their dealership. It was an outstanding experience.

Horrible service horrible cars my daughter bought a car from them and Burns Harbor that was a lemon the transmission was going out of it and they knew it and they sold it to her anyway and even after she purchased the car with the warranty still on it they kept telling her there was nothing wrong with the car making noises and not shifting and lights and stuff coming on on the dash so I finally demanded that they look at the car and lo and behold they put a new transmission in it and it's still not right I would have buy a tricycle from them people

I have purchased two vehicles and one leased vehicle from Bozak CDJR of Merrillville. I recently went into the dealership with every intention of giving them my money, again. I just needed to return my leased Pacifica early and get a fair trade in value on two others. I found the new vehicle I wanted and the process began. After spending literally all day at the dealership I left and took my business elsewhere. I understand they have to turn a profit but they low balled me, down played the values of my vehicles and tried playing a shell game with all the numbers. However, I did my homework and had a certified KBB offer from other dealerships. When I asked them to itemize the numbers they got annoyed with me. Once we got down to brass tax I communicated that their offers were completely unrealistic. Then they tried to play it off like I didn t know what I was talking about so I walked. I sold both vehicles for asking price on the private market in less than two weeks. Purchasing a new vehicle shouldn t be so difficult nor should a potential buyer be treated like an imbecile. My suggestion is do your homework by completing a national search on Cars.com and Auto trader. I purchased my new vehicle from a dealership in Savannah, GA. I worked the numbers out from my couch. They picked me up from the airport and rolled out the red carpet. The process took 30 min. I drove my new truck back to the region and saved several thousands of dollars, vehicles in this market are severely overpriced. Check out my new truck

Yes I had been looking to buy when my transmission went out on my first love but I was not truly ready to buy. We researched our future purchase before stepping thru Bosak's door. What we needed was a sales person who wasn't pushy or trying to up sell. That is what we got with Christian. He was super friendly and when you speak with him it just makes you want to smile. He easily gave us his cell number and that's mostly how we communicated.
He let us know when our vehicle arrived (even though it was after 3pm) and made sure we were able to drive it off the lot that evening. He didn't complain that he had to stay late.
Overall, we would consider Bosak for future purchases. If you go, make sure you ask for Christian!

The worst experience ever tying to purchase a new car. I am out of state and was told I have to come to dealer to sign paperwork and I m not allowed to use a third party for title and registration. Not to mention the sales manager was rude and had a bad attitude like I was bothering them by trying to buy a car.

Luis Garcia was a great salesman who is extremely knowledgeable on the Jeep lineup.
We also enjoyed some laughs with the finance guy about shotgunning water.

This was my second time going through the car buying experience. Shannon and Mathew both made the experience simple and easy during these tough times! I love my new trail hawk and they are going above and beyond by helping to get my other renegade serviced and fixed up! Definitely recommend Bosak motors !!

Bought a nice pre owned truck I am disabled and my mother and I l believe we're screwed by the service department completely 100% lied to every service issue was completely blown out of proportion .example LED tail flashing quickly, error code on dash.Nick the service department manager explained to me that they cost approximately 900 dollars and the only option was to remove them ,I am not a mechanic and unfortunately trusted Nick ,service had the truck for 3 day's I really needed to investigate the problems I have before relying on how am,my bad! They kept the tail lights. I found out the part required to have the lights not show error code is 15 dollars and it just plugs in ,very common. Also priced new tail lights for two hundred dollars!I am sure the lights are more than likely in some one in the service departments truck,I have had a few service department beatings,K&N cold air intake I always wanted ,lean full error code kept coming on,Nick removed it also, I called K&N in California,they laughed and gave me the proper way to clear error code . NO reason to remove intake! Nick has lied to me without having any problem taking advantage of a sick man and his elderly mother.I find that pathetic!! Thanks Nick,if I need any more service I will bring the VASSILINE!!!

I know some people are gonna say I m just an employee of this company leaving a review but I was a customer before I became an employee and this review is coming from the heart. My father bought from the Bosak family twice. He bought his first Honda in 1986 at Bosak Honda Highland. In 2010 he bought a 2010 Accord in 2009 and a year later he passed away. I started working at Bosak Motors in Merrillville in October 2014 and I brought my older brother down to the lot to help him look for a new car. The used car manager Matt Reid who at the time was a salesperson helped him out. I ve been working at this dealership for four years now and the point I m trying to make is I truly understand why our Bosak store here in Merrillville is the best one out of all of them. Our staff, our managers, our mechanics, service/parts/sales departments and even the General manager try to do their very best to satisfy our customers. The techs and the mechanics saved my car three different times from going to the junkyard and I ve even got my car detailed here in our detail department. If you re looking to purchase a new or used vehicle or need some work done on your car come to Bosak Chrysler here in Merrillville. Our Merrillville store is the best out of all the stores that the Bosak s own!!

Bought a 2018 Jeep Rubicon from Bosaks today and I have to say they were amazing to deal with. Our salesman Christian Haywood was more than helpful and understanding.

His knowledge of the vehicle was outstanding. He is honest, professional and very personable. He made sure the payment came in where we needed it to be. His whole team worked hard so we could leave with the vehicle and with the payment we wanted.

Bought a 2018 Jeep Wrangler a few weeks ago, I was so excited to buy my first vehicle by myself. I have wanted a jeep since I was a little girl. These men are only looking for a sale and once you sign the piece of paper they lose all respect and are typical car sales man. They completely fooled me. This company ruined my car buying experience and I regret buying a vehicle from such heartless people.

Buying experience overall was good but be aware that they take part in a security system scam where they force you to buy an anti theft system they claim is automatically installed and as such you must pay for it. Very disappointing, and I advise you to avoid it.
*edit for response. I was given that explanation however there is no reason to force the customer to carry on the antitheft service. It's purposely acid etched marks onto the car so that the dealer and anti-theft company can give the excuse that it may not be canceled.

I entered the facility and made it very clear... I was a cash buyer, you had the two vehicles my family wanted, and we were going to buy one today. I m not home much and needed this to happen fast.

We had a great salesman. However the sales management staff seemed too busy staring at computer screens behind desks to help out the sales person. They couldn t help him with prices while we did a test drive or even help him to properly prep a demo. All the things a sales management team that is on the ball does.

You guys seem pretty good at getting them in the door. Your sales managers setup Obi for failure in my opinion.

When I have an upset customer I assume My organization did something that warrants the level of frustration...I don t escalate it like your Crew does.

You guys made it really hard to buy a car today. I walked in a very happy guy with CASH who needed to buy a car in 120 minutes and TOLD everyone I bumped into that. Obi was trying hard, but your managers seemed more interested in doing whatever they were doing than selling a car. Sorry if I got mouthy, but your managers are F- leaders from where I was sitting and their laziness caused me to upset my family....I needed to get back in the car and get back to work.

I even showed one of the the Dudes my check book and tapped my watch....nothing, zilch not even a hold on wave...... I left...you'd wasted enough of my time.

And when one of them finally gave me attitude as I was leaving...you better believe I gave it right back to all involved. That stuff doesn't happen in a professionally ran dealership and you get unprofessional reactions from people as a result. Hopefully you take my comments as helpful. Looks like a bunch of kids wasting a lot of someones money on advertising and no one there even knows how to sell a car yet... $.02 Obi just needs a competent trainer and I'll hire him.

We made an appointment to have an auto start put in our Jeep Grand Cherokee, the service was done, I go start the car with the key fab that we didn't bring in when the autostart was installed, the car isn't recognized by the fab, the car won't start. I call Bosak , Dale said I could bring it right over, so I did. I get there and Nick "helps" me. He said we didn't have that key fab when the autostart was put in. I told him I was off yesterday I could have brought it over if you would have called and we were never told to bring the 2 key fabs in when we made the appointment. He says well maybe we can get you in sometime this week, I told him I talked to Dale and he said to bring it over and he would get it done. Nick hands the key to the mechanic standing in the room and it took 10 minutes to program the key. We paid $625 for this service to be done and this is how we were treated? Where is the customer service? I was the one inconvenienced, I never got an apology., just attitude. He was going to send me away to make an an appointment for something that took longer to talk about than to just do. Poor!

Went there Thursday with all intentions of buying a vehicle drove from Michigan was met by a tall gray haired salesman the most rude salesman I have ever encountered and I am 59 years old!! When asked if the price was negotiable he said No we don t discount our cars but he wanted to only give wholesale on my car and continued to run my Pontiac convertible Solstice with 27k down like it was worth nothing!!!
