My wife and I had gone to Bosak on July 15th looking to see a used 2017 Pacifica that we had seen on the website. After learning that the car had just been sold a few days prior but not taken off the website, Christian was fantastic in helping us find the car we were looking for. We test drove a handful of other Pacifica models before deciding on leasing a 2019 Pacifica Touring Plus which we are incredibly excited about. Christian was incredibly patient with us while we came to our decisions, especially with our rambunctious toddler and teenager along for the rides. He explained all the features of the car to us in detail, which was greatly appreciated. We left the dealership happy to have gotten the right car for our family.

My lease on another car is up next year, and hope to see how Christian and Bosak Motors can help me get into a new set of wheels in 2020!

My experience with Bosak was very good until after I purchased my vehicle. My salesman Christian was great 5 stars! Very communicative, attentive, and professional. Finance guy Nick Renfroe 5 stars extremely knowledgeable and he worked wonders! Now the issue I have is AFTER signing my name on the dotted line.. the vehicle I purchase had a terrifying Death Wobble I came back 3 days after my purchase to the service department and the used car sales manager along with my salesman replaced the stabilizer BUT this did nothing So instead of trying to rectify the problem and stand behind what came to be a $48k purchase on a certified vehicle I was told to either trade it in or pay to have the stock suspension put back on it! Seriously you need a NEW USED SALES MANAGER to match the rest of your staff!!!!

Update to owners response: my review is strictly based on my overall customer experience AFTER purchasing my vehicle from Bosak. The issue was resolved AFTER I PURCHASED new tires myself NOT AFTER bringing my vehicle back to you after almost having a near death experience driving home on the expressway. Nevertheless my salesperson was fantastic and if it had not been the issue with being told that either trade it in OR pay to get a stock suspension put on it I wouldn t writing this review at all.

I found my new Challenger SRT at Bosak Motors. Manny Flores, my sales man, made the purchase process & subsequent vehicle pick up a very pleasant & easy experience. He also went out of his way to assist with some after purchase issues, and even offered to help me get the vehicle to my home. Manny also directed me to the dealerships Master Service Consultant Doug Strow, who was a great help in finding & getting a few modifications installed before I picked up the vehicle. The nice thing is, that both of them made me feel like they cared about my needs, and are actually still working to make them happen. I would highly recommend this dealership for a fine vehicle buying expirience.

I worked with Matt Reid to purchase a Journey for my aunt today. She recently lost her husband and had to buy a car without him for the first time. Matt did a great job taking the time to guide her through her options and help her settle on the right vehicle.

The dealership negotiated fairly and within a brief visit we wrote the order and took delivery that night. Matt made sure she felt especially comfortable with all the features her old car lacked before she proudly drove off.

This place has lots of eye-candy on the lot and it's really exciting to see some of the premium "go-fast" options Dodge offers as well as the ridiculously rugged Jeep Wranglers.

I've wanted to try them out since moving to Indiana. That done, I look forward to contacting Matt again when I'm ready to swap out my own wheels.

I walked into your dealership so depressed about a disappointing experience at Carmack that I was happy to see so many good choices at Bosak. I got waited on immediately by Denise Recker. So I went in to Bosak today and I set there for maybe about 15 minutes while I waited a couple of people said I'll be with u in a moment, then this white guy comes in and the same people asked him how can we help you and I'm standing there looking like what's going on. I've been standing here all this time and not 1 person asked how can they help me. They just told me to give them a moment I felt discriminated against like I was invisible and I just came in for oil change I will no longer waste my money at that company I will no longer take my work vehicle to that company. I left and called the manager and explained what happened. I ask if they have cameras because it should show the situation. He said he'll look into it, when he called me back he said there was no cameras there and they said it wasn't a race situation they just didn't know who was there first. Which is a lie I don't see how it I was standing there for 15 minutes but soon as he walked through the door they say how can we help you. I feel very offended and I will not be back...Never again

The people at Bosak are world class Jrn and Doug and Lewis are top notch in their field of work they always make me and my wife feel good everytime we have to come in, the other Chrysler dealerships in the area are full of people that try to make more money off of you than to have repeat customers...BOSAK MOTORS ARE THE BEST

I purchased a new vehicle at Bosak in merrillville on December 1st with Mr Obie as my salesperson.. Hes a really good guy to work with and very personable. My only gripe was that his manager refused to give me what my trade in was worth. I wasnt very happy with that but still went ahead with the purchase. Maybe next time it'll be different but the overall experience at Bozak is always upbeat and friendly.

Let me first state that my wife and I are 2 of the most easy going and understandable people you would ever come across if you were to ever meet us. We understand there are always factors that can weigh in what happens in every day life experiences (such as buying a car) that are beyond anyone's control. With that said, here is my - and my wife's - 1 star experience at Bosak Motors in Merrillville, IN.

My wife and I had been researching used Dodge Journey's for 2 months and we finally narrowed it down to about 10 vehicles in about a 75 mile radius. Three of them in the Merrillville area, 7 in the Kalamazoo, MI area. We went to Bosak Motors to look at their Dodge Journey for the soul reason that it was labeled a CERTIFIED CHRYSLER PRE-OWNED VEHICLE. None of the others at other dealerships were. So, we left them a voice mail the Friday before the weekend explaining we were coming to their dealership on Monday to look at the car.

Right off the bat, I was disappointed because even though we gave all our license and insurance information, we were not allowed to take the vehicle on a test drive in private. Plus we were limited to where we could go since there was hardly any gas in the vehicle and it was down-pouring rain the whole time we were there.

Little did we know, this was the beginning of our 7 HOUR ORDEAL! We did not get out of there until after 5 pm. Here's why:

Ed, our salesman, tried to sell us everything extra. Tried to sell me ceramic coating for the paint for almost $1200. I told him I would just apply it for a $95 bottle off of an online store. They also tried to sell us the extended warranty and we told them not interested, yet the bogged-down financial lady still made time to do a write up even though we told Ed we were only approved for a certain amount of money from our credit union and that would put us over that amount. The financial lady even came back and said if we only put $200 down on our paint sealant, it would fit us into our maximum loan amount and we could get it. I told her she was forgetting there was taxes on the car too, and the paint sealer would put us over. She walked back to her office, with her sticky note attached to her index finger, baffled as hell as how I could turn up such a wonderful deal.

Meanwhile, I forgot to mention, we haven't even said we were going to buy the car yet. We spent the first 2 hours trying to get a final price that we could submit to our credit union, but all we kept hearing was they could "probably" beat our credit union interest rate. I was already pre-approved by my credit union, so why would I want my credit to get bombarded by even more credit inquiries? Well, once we told them we had our own credit union, it was like we were outcasts. Little comments here and there about not getting the better deal because we didn't get credit through them. The more they pushed, the more I didn't want to deal with them.

In the end, we finally got to see the financial lady. We had to sign FAKE loan documents that would take effect in case the check my credit union was sending overnight (which they already had the tracking number), didn't arrive. The whole time she kept mentioning we would have had a better deal through them.

They gave us papers at the end that said our car was CERTIFIED and the CARFAX report showing it's CERTIFIED.

Fast forward 2 weeks when some buttons on the dash don't work. Made an appointment with our dealer close to home to get fixed. Our dealer stated the car was not listed as CERTIFIED and that we should get in touch with the dealer. I called Chrysler myself and they said the car was not certified. My wife called Bosak, was wrong voice mail for Ed. My wife called the next day, lady said it's the wrong guys name on Ed's voice mail, he hasn't changed it yet. Left voice mail for Ed to some other guys name. No return call. Called Friday, talked with Ed, who said he'd look into it and call us back Monday, 03-12-18. Haven't hard from anyone yet as of 03-15-18. So disappointing. Don't buy from.

I was already having a bad day and dealing with car problems definitely wasn t helping. But I gotta say, I had a change of heart and working with the bosak team was a pleasant surprise. Much to to her credit, the girl at customer service was patient, warm, and professional in helping me resolve these issues and made my day suddenly a lot better.

I want to thank everyone who wrote reviews. I personally feel that if someone is to earn my business, they need to commit 1000% percent each and every time. From what I read, it seems if you buy a new vehicle from them, you are good to go. For everything else, they offer less value for trade-ins and don't follow through on service calls in the shop. Yes, maybe these are isolated incidents, but they SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED! It's not hard to have someone else double check another's work once it's done.

Anyways, I just purchased a Dodge vehicle and wanted to bring it in here to have serviced, but I think I will find someplace else.

Also, a boiler plate response to each and every compliant, just confirms my belief. Each and every one of these people who took the time to complain have different issues and therefore the time spent for a response should have been more involved that a copy paste if you really cared.

Not a good experience. Bought a $36,000 Truck and took it to get routine maintenance after 60 days of purchase as front was making a sound and find out it has a strut greased (to keep the noise from happening). Took for second opinion and both auto repair shops said "whoever sold you this knew there was something wrong." $2300 dollar bill later and texts from a manager (Nick) saying they wouldn't do that and the auto repair guys (family friends of mine) are BS-ing me. Lots of hassle that someone shouldn't have to deal with when spending that much money on a 2017 truck for 36k.

Great place, super friendly and HONEST! See Chris if you need a car. Bought a used car, had a minor problem. He shipped me the necessary parts to fix it, eventhough he didn't have to. He knew I was driving a good distance, so he went over the car like he was buying it. Not supposed to use names, but he used to be a chef, so you should be able to find him. Glad I found this place, and though it is a few hours away, I will certainly go back. Thanks Chris and thanks Bosak Motors.
