The best hotel in Ottawa with the best rates (as compared to downtown hotels)

Everything was top standard. The room was excellent and had a great view. The food at perspectives was great and the live jazz even better. Everything went seamless.

This hotel is definitely worth the price. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; the food options are plentiful and delicious, regardless where you choose to dine onsite; and the gym contains both cardio and lifting equipment, not to mention saunas, locker room hot tubs, and a pool. I really appreciated the security of the building, such as the keycard activated elevators. This hotel offers so much, I did not even have time to explore the beautiful landscape and golf course on the property. Also, the customer service was amazing, as they answered my many questions with a smile.

Great place. Friendly and helpful people, ready to jump in and help.
One thing I really struggled with was that it's almost impossible to reach the guest services from outside the hotel. I tried to reach them over the phone and the automated system takes you in circles and I finally gave up.

Nice property and amenities however no customer service, I requested for an early check in and showed up early assuming that my request will be honored however the moment I showed up at the reception , staff looked unhappy and first thing I was told was 'you requested however it was not guaranteed' with no politness, which I understood and thought gentleman might be having a bad day so I asked him what time do you think I should come back and I was told at 4 pm..and I was really surprised to hear that . Alhough i managed to check in after sitting 2.5hrs in my car but it was definitely not expected from such a big business hotel. I come to Ottawa every month for work purpose and chose to stay at Brookstreet on the recommendation of someone but I'm sure it was my last time here

We attended an event. It was very well organized. The staff were courteous and professional.

Excellent hotel. Bar with jazz live music on Wednesday. Good option for business travelers but far far away from downtown to have some fun.

Being a local, this is not my first visit, but I always have a good experience. Today's Technata was a perfect example of how they provide a good location and infrastructure for larger events. The smaller, more intimate or personal events in their bars or restaurants are also enjoyable.

Amazing and clean room with even better views! The service at the restaurant was extraordinary!! Upon checkout, we were told by the friendly staff that we had a $40 credit to be charged to our room, so grabbed coffee and lunch!!

They charge for anything. For example, 14$ of parking a day will be added to your bill.

I had a quick lunch at the Cafe. It was quick and pretty good considering the price. I would consider it more of a treat than a regular lunch spot considering the plethora of options in the area.

The hotel is large and clean. There is a live jazz bar and restaurant on the 1st floor where you can also enjoy your meal. The room was large and warm, and I slept loosely with two queen size beds.

Great location from my office. Hotel has always been clean and staff is very professional. Quiet rooms and space. Parking can get a little expensive if you have a vehicle.

The hotel and the room itself is very clean but I would say not worth the price paid. The room smelt heavily of cologne when we arrived, the TV was placed awkwardly so you had to sit up to watch, there was a weird window between the bathroom and bedroom, and it hadn't been dusted in a very long time (hand prints seen on the wall above the bed). The location is terrible being situated in a business district. Would I stay again? No, but was a good experience overall.

Expensive hotel with few "expensive" luxuries. A lot of over pricing and gouging since there is not much else in the area, would not go back.

On check out I was charged for parking , do you expect people to walk to your hotel or drive to it?
Why being charged $20 on my credit card for parking when I was told it s included in the room.

Among the best hotel in Ottawa. All is beautiful. There is even a charging station for electric cars for free. The food is spectacular.

Enjoyed an astounding meal at the Brookstreet restaurant, Perspectives. Had the Chowder and Lobster Linguine and would highly recommend both. They were very rich tasting dishes. The greeters and servers were also very attentive and courteous. One of the top fine dining experiences in Kanata.

The drunks and food we fantastic, and the server was great. It's under construction right now so it's a little loud.

Good sized rooms, views of the golf course are very nice too.

Came by for a conference, staff are very kind and diligent.

Many things at this hotel have gone downhill except for one person who did stand out and needs to get
recognition.The food and beverage manager Jordan seems to have a bright future ahead of him. If you are able to find more employees like him Brookstreet may have a chance to regain the worthy name and status they once held. Because of him and him alone we will be coming back at least to the jazz lounge. we had an issue he defused it and went over and above to give us a reason to stay and continue to come back. If management doesn't see his value and worth we are willing to hire him for one of our locations!!

Nice hotel, can't comment on the rooms or other facilities if you're staying as a guest. Attended a conference here and the boardrooms were very well setup.

Almost $100 for family of 4 to swim and the hot tub was broken ..not worth the price

Not the newest, but well maintained hotel. Gym and Pool are nice. Food is nit worth the money.

Decent hotel, excellent staff. But room thermostat did not work. First there was no heat, room was stuck at 67f. Maintenance was quick to fix, but then it blew warm air nonstop. Room was 84f. They eventually moved me to different room which was fine.

Attended a wedding at this venue. The servers were really helpful and responsive. Apparently they charge you 750 for making a mess (we were throwing fake flowers in the air).

Beautiful hotel with lovely art and nice and quiet for the night we were there. We were surprised to be charged for parking, no indication in advance at check-in and also no verbal advice of a $400.00 deposit charged to our credit card. It was lovely that the weight room had kettle bell weights but the weight was so low on them that they were too light for our teenage daughter.

Went for a meal and a round of golf. It was great food and a very difficult course.

Great all purpose place for Ottawa-locals. Great food. Great spa. Great place to host out of town family and entertain kids.

The banquet staff was helpful and extremely responsive. The marinara sauce thay was served at lunch was delicious!

I absolutely love photographing weddings at and working with the lovely staff at Brookstreet. Not only is their hospitality lovely, they are helpful, things run super smoothly and food is fabulous. I love to visit the restaurants even when I am not staying or working. Always a fabulous work day at Brookstreet.

The location of the Brookstreet Hotel feels best placed to serve visiting business people, but the rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the usual amenities of a hotel. Their service at the front desk is as friendly and professional as one would hope. All in all, an excellent place to stay.

We were there for a friend's birthday. The front staff quickly pointed out how to get to the room. Everything was already set up correctly. Whenever we needed something, they were prompt to provide it.

Room was great, $16 parking was a bit much, and charging hefty food prices should reflect great food quality which it was not.

Has my work Christmas party here. It was a lunch. The lunch was very good. Lots of booze! Great party
