The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The conference facilities worked great for the event I attended. The room was clean and tidy and had a great view from the balcony. My only complaint is that the lighting in the bathroom wasn't very bright.

Food was delicious, conference room audio was good but we had to rig up our own WiFi. Conference chairs go uncomfortable after two hours. All around good experience from the venue end of things. Would recommend.

Very nice upscale hotel in the heart of industry (tech) rich Kanata Ottawa Canada. Many well known companies surround the Brookstreet hotel. Built by a industry Titan, this is a place to see and visit.

My daughter and I visited 4 hotels, to compare the quality, prices and honeymoon suite room size for her upcoming wedding next September. Even though all prices were comparable for each hotel, the Brookstreet is the best of all 4.

Also, the girl at guest services was very knowledgable and friendly. She gave us a tour of the hotel and we were shown the honeymoon suite. She also took the time to recomenend areas in the hotel to take wedding pictures.

Even though I have attended functions in the past at the Brookstreet and I have always been impressed, it's great to know that they still provide the same quality service years later.

We had a staycation in the COVID-19 times. The staff was very clear on the expectations from our experience. The rooms were clean, the patio was open and none of the experience was compromised. It was just secure and safe. The pool was only open for a handful guests so to minimize the risk. We had to book our pool slots. My kids enjoyed the master suite.

Our bellman, David, was the best. We were so happy to have met him. The hotel is quite a ways from downtown but really nice away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The pool outside was really nice with a hot tub outside as well. Inside pool is decent. The jazz bar has a happy hour Monday-Friday with $5 appetizers and drinks. At check in, Solomon first put us in a room on the 4th floor but after asking he then put us on the 17th floor. Really nice view of the golf course and city. The refrigerator is very small and we didn t know we had to ask for a key to open it. We got a key on our 2nd day. Our room was clean, the bathroom was nice and large and we enjoyed our stay. There is a Tim Hortons nearby for an inexpensive breakfast as well as a drugstore just down the street if needed. Great location overall but don t be surprised it s in a business district with lots of tech companies nearby.

I greatly enjoyed our stay! We stayed at Brookstreet the night of a hockey game at the Canadian Tire Centre. The only downside was that check-in was at 4pm so it didn't give us a lot of time to get settled into the room, unpack our luggage, have dinner, etc before the game. On the bright side, the hotel arranges Bus Shuttles to take you to the Canadian Tire Centre...there were about 3 school buses the night we went, which left by 6pm and picked us up at the same spot 30minutes after the game. We didn't run into any hockey players from the visitor's team, as a few other reviews here mentioned.

I also brought my small dog, for which they charge $25 per night for a pet fee. I believe the whole 4th floor was for petfriendly rooms, for any of you concerned about staying in a room that formerly had pets. It was so convenient because I didn't have to worry about bringing my dog to a kennel, and even took the dog on the trails behind the hotel that night, and brought my dog around Ottawa the next day after check out.

The one downside to our room was that it doesn't have a mini fridge so it made cooling our drinks and snacks more complicated, as we had a lug a huge cooler in and out of the hotel and on our roadtrip.

My partner and I also went to the Jazz Lounge after the game, which was an added perk for our night, relaxing and the cherry on-top of our stay. The drinks at the Jazz Lounge were quite overpriced though and though the food was good quality and flavorful, there wasn't much quantity to fill us both up.

Otherwise the hotel offered us a free late check-out on Sunday, so instead of noon it was 1pm, which was really nice to relax the next day, have brunch, etc. They have Starbucks coffee onsite so I surprised my partner with a latte in the morning. There are beautiful trails behind the hotel so I took a walk in the morning; looks like there are snowmobile trails behind. The outdoor skating rink was closed, unfortunately, as my partner loves ice-skating and I booked it thinking that would be an added bonus surprise.

We were hoping to eat at the golf course for breakfast but it was abandoned and the hotel staff didn't seem to be aware of this, as they shuttled us there. Luckily we phoned the hotel and they sent a free shuttle back to pick us up after wandering around looking for staff at the golf course. We ended up having breakfast at Options Jazz Lounge, as I didn't realize Perspectives Restaurant required reservations, let alone that all the bookings would be so full in the middle of the winter!

Excellent hotel for weddings and meetings. I've never stayed personally but for business events it's very nice. Underground parking, nice number of cafes and also a live jazz band on Thursdays

It's a nice luxurious room; however, I find the cleaning staff takes corners everytime we go. The pool was out of service when we went which was a disappointment. Their pool is really nice on the inside. The bar has really good happy hour apps and drinks. I love the fact that everything is located inside, including a games room for kids and hey, dental cleaning while you stay!

The hotel was lovely. There are both inside & outside pool's, a golf course, fitness center ,bar & restaurants .There's underground parking. The hotel has a shuttle to the Canadian Tire Center ,when theres an event ! The restaurant had some different things on the menu, such as quail & elk. Not to my taste ,but the pasta dish was very good. I wouldn't order the eggs benedict from room service, were not good!

Back a year later. Same good service but what's up with $7 water bottles? That is bananas. Just drink tap water.

Excellent service from the front desk to bellhops, though no access to ice machines is a definite draw back.

Having to summons room service for ice was inconvenient and delivery was slow.

Breakfast should have been complimentary given the $159.00
room rate.

The $5.00 tax associated with being a tourist is appalling. Without tourists there is no need for a hotel.

Excellent proximity to a vast array of shopping, eateries and sporting venues.

Free underground parking.

Nice hotel and spa. I wish that the spa services would pay a little more attention to client experience. They were cleaning and making a lot of noise when I was getting my services making it difficult to relax.

Really friendly staff and beautiful grounds. The room we had was a basic queen but it was well laid out with plenty of space and good amenities. Lots for kids with a little movie theater and games rooms, as well as pools and bikes to rent in summer. Downsides are that the restaurant the kids eat Free at is very small and the kids eat Free window is only for 2 hours. This leads to every guest with kids trying to eat at once, there are no reservations so the place is packed and people are cruising around tables trying to find somewhere to sit and watching you to see when you leave! This needs fixing as a system. Everything else about our stay was fabulous though.
