Very cute, family friendly atmosphere. They have high tunnels where you can pick a great assortment of edibles, even in the rain!
When we were there they had strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, peppers, and melons. They also have apple orchards! Very reasonable prices! We will be back!

Pros: Nice roses, very mature stock of English roses for this zone. very knowledgeable staff, fair prices on roses only.
Cons: difficult to understand owner (thick accent), difficult to walk the area, advertised prices and sales are not correct and no carts to buy a lot; you have to drag each plant up to the store yourself so if you buy a lot of roses or trees it could be tough...they won't help you either. They had a buy 3, get one free advertised online and inside their store but when I brought up the roses to check out the told me the sale wasn't valid any longer...hmmm then why is it still on your board with today's date? They said it was a mistake. Humm odd. All prices were extremely high except doe the English roses.

Also the Advertised fresh baked goods, dairy and fruits was a joke. All the fruits are frozen (self service), the veggies were very pricey and soft/old (tomatoes, cucs, and squash... That's it). Eggs were all they had for dairy expense but we're good. There was nothing bake good wise. Everything fit on on a small card table so don't go there for that, you will be disappointed.

Went for strawberry picking this morning. The farm was pretty, but the strawberry patches were overgrown with weeds and the areas that had been picked were not marked - so it was basically a free for all. Lots of tiny berries but not so many medium sized and almost no large ones. Picking took a while, and I was surprised by the fairly high price per pound.

Sam Kedem Nursery is absolutely the best place in the Twin Cities area to buy roses that are suited for our climate. True organic gardeners recognize the quality of Sam's products and the effort he exerts to be totally organic. If you want real organic apples, Sam and Rachel grow them, but don't expect them to be shiny and without blemish because no pesticides ever touch the trees. Picking apples is a special treat because a huge flock of chickens follows you around among the trees hoping for an apple or two to hit the ground. Kedem's is a special place in Minnesota.

Wonderful organic orchard. We have a great time each year visiting farmer Sam. Yes, his website has misspelled words and you should call to confirm hours. The apple, strawberry, and raspberry picking is great.
