Brookstreet Hotel was a great place to hold Bsides 2018!

Always a great stay while I'm in Kanata. This place has one of the best gyms/pools/spa facilities around. Heated underground parking is a plus in the winter. Would stay again.

Didn't stay in the hotel but are a fantastic meal in the main restraint restaurant.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Was there for a work event and the kitchen ran our of food, which was disappointing.

Great staff and exceptional facilities. Packages for golf are well worth it as well.

Really amazing place. Very courteous, well groomed hotel. Did photography for a business banquet and the installation and environment was perfect for client needs and mine

Beautiful hotel. Large, bright rooms. Attended a wedding here with the brunch buffet and everything was delicious. Great hot tub and pool area. Starbucks in the lobby was great in the morning.

We love doing date night at the Brookstreet hotel. The Au Natural spa usually provides a pleasant experience with a very good massage. I have been going to this spa for years and I have never had a bad massage here. Access to the gym and pool are nice perks of the visit. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food is good. Really like the amenities offered by this hotel. I cannot comment on the rooms since I have never been a guest.

The service and food are fantastic. I love the resort feel so close to Ottawa. Had a wonderful massage and they upgraded our room for no apparent reason which was a treat. The rooms are ready for a facelift but I hear that's in the works. Beds are a dream to sleep in!

Brookstreet is a boutique hotel that lives up to it's reputation. Although this time I was there for a meeting, I have stayed at the hotel in the past and always was treated like a king.

Nice-looking hotel, but it has its flaws. Pool and hot tub were dirty, with a ring of dirt all around. Room lighting is quite dark so it can be frustrating when ironing clothes or grooming in the bathroom since you can't see all that well.

One of the best hotels in Ottawa on the west side. Close to high tech businesses. Gives a feeling of a luxurious stay. Restraunts and facilities are good.

Best Hotel I've stayed at! The suite I got was huge! The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I was charged twice on my credit card for insurance but they fixed it immediately. I couldn't be more happy with my stay here.

Stay was good great hotel. Very big place lots to do. Games room was fun but I wish there was more games for older people or some pinball. Room could use a microwave too. Jazz bar was good place to chill and eat.

What a waste of money. We paid $85 to access outdoor pool, they didn't inform us about the heating problem they were having. We complained to management they suggested to use the indoor pool... think we are stupid, we have movati memberships and they think we will pay $85 to use their ugly indoor pool??? We will never come back. Poor service, unheated very very small outdoor pool and very expensive fees

Enjoyed our stay for the hockey games. Room was spacious, ample parking spaces. Services were good in general too. Jazz lounge is nice, there is a spa place too. Like others said food in general tend to be pricey and you would have a better bang for the buck in nearby restaurants. There is a thai diner place nearby which we really liked. There is a gym and pool as well. Although staff there were rather unprofessional and started yelling and kicked us out of the pool 15 min before the pool would close.

Meals are relatively well-priced, friendly staff, clean premises. Some rooms more rundown than others, starting to show their age with faded upholstery.

Pool is a long walk for those with mobility issues.

Dinner was good and the service was as well... No complaints!

Very nice place... need better maid service as someones meal was sitting outside of our door when we arrived at 330pm and was still sitting there 2 days later b4 it was picked up... other than that it was very nice...

P.s. meals were expensive but was very tastey

Great hotel. Modern and clean. Restaurants and food are excellent. Indoor and outdoor pool with a full size gym. Room service was fast and hot. Room rates are very reasonable compared to IGH (Holiday Inn) brands.

The hotel offers numerous meeting and conference rooms and hosts many weddings.

The only downside are teams, particularly in the winter. You'll never get in the pool or hottubs. I did notice they try and keep sports teams in the lower floors. This is very much appreciated by getaway couples.

All in all this is the best hotel in Kanata, hands down. I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Beautiful hotel some of the best service I have seen in Ontario, happy friendly staff, they put on a great event , and the food in both the hall and the restaurants were top quality. Was easy to get to just off the highway

I stay here when I need to relax, when I'm craving some luxury, and when I want to be guaranteed excellent food. I've traveled around the world a lot and have visited many hotels. I can safely say this is one of my favorites. Surprising that you'd find an amazing hotel in Ottawa, but there you go. It's possible! As such, I've come here multiple times even though I live in the city. Its a full experience every time.
Their pool is also salt water which is wonderful for my sensitive skin.
Also, I've been trying to find a proper regular masseuse that can fix my back issues in Ottawa/Gatineau, and to no avail. The spa that they have here has an excellent, exceptional staff. I actually and finally found a masseuse that is wonderful. If I could give this place a 10 star review, I would.

Beautiful resort type setting in the high tech business park. Much better than most business hotels.

Very clean hotel and great on site restaurant. Loses one star because the beds are too soft and check in is way too late.

Brookstreet staff was very friendly, hotel was very clean and well presented, and there were many amenities. I had a great stay!

The hotel room was nice, and clean. A little disappointed that the had disposable Keurig coffee pods in the rooms.

Great drinks, wine list is extensive and good, lamb shank was very good. Good atmosphere and a great place to have people together and you can here each other without yelling. The service was professional and was the right mix of being present but not bothering us as we enjoyed the evening

A clean atmosphere for the conference I attended, it was clean and tidy.

Great hotel. Tall ceilings, very comfortable bed, stocked minbar with decent prices for that. AC unit is super quiet. Very clean. Just great everything.

The best place when coming from outside Ottawa to see the Senators. Only 10 minutes from the Canadian Tire Centre. Big rooms, beds are comfy and TV is truly HD. Inside free parking that's a plus!

It's nice and clean. Not many option in the menu but the jazz club is a good solution for a quick bite. The staff is not very efficient though. I had to go and ask for my bill and wait term minutes for the right person to take payment.

Went there for my anniversary and we had a great time! Staff was very courteous and precise with all info and orders. Food was AMAZING and the whole atmosphere was cozy and very fancy.
Was there also for drinks at the piano bar and again, a great experience. Great drinks and awesome snacks.
Don't ever miss a chance to go there!

Top notch luxury hotel. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the lobby, including a jazz bar that plays live music. The staff is very friendly, and offer tremendous service. They deliver ice to your door.

Staff was very friendly and professional. The room was mediocre, being a bit sterile in feeling, decor and general warmth was lacking. However, the amenities offered were great.

When I visit Ottawa Brookstreet Hotel is my primary hotel destination.

Organization for package should be improved. Lack of communication and guest services didn't know some of the information. Had to call for each part of package.

A 5 day stay is enough to have a good judgment of the place.

Honestly the game is pretty cool for kids for mini arcade with video game. The getaway side I don't think we're getting away from it. They have some important points to master before promising this.

Service by employees is very courteous and prompt. This is fun. Even though we have requests that are not standard (my perception) they take the time to listen and try to accommodate.

Jazz evenings are a real plus and very "getaway" :)

The food is really good at their restaurant. Cooking always according to what you asked for. The tasty steaks. The bbq style vegetables are really tasty. The buffet very affordable and the prices are advantageous for lunches. The wine selection is really interesting but take advantage of the discounts because it is a bit overpaid.

The temperature in the "lobby" is really too low. We must have more sweaters in the summer. Eh eh

Negative rating or construction for improvements:

The price is a bit high for the services on the side but this is not the main disappointment.

When we arrived it was quick but without a precise explanation for people from outside on the functioning, the place and the possible activities of the region. "Getaway" no. If we are tourists, they should have a different attention than people who come to work.

There is a swimming pool which lacks cleanliness in terms of water clarity. The spa is fine, but the sauna is completely inaccessible. They could have told us up front when we booked.

When I tried the gym, messy weights, non-working machines, mats under weights that were too heavy. I imagine the lady who wants to take her stack but has to move a 60 lbs lol. Good luck with your yoga.

The lady who worked there was on her Pinterest at 7am rather than looking after the place and the 8 customers asking me questions like I was working there.

Surrounding her with their offer to donate $ 10 if you use less towels is great, but honestly I don't see any room for basic recycling. Plenty of plastic is thrown in our rooms and trash cans.

So in terms of environmental experience, we can also say no, just like the getaway .

Also when we arrived we had to ask for the key for the fridge, how do the movies work since you can only buy them and not rent them and the sink was blocked. The rooms are clean and interestingly decorated, but not overly technological. No fan for the bathroom for a twin bedroom.

So already when we left I had to ask several questions and take the lead to sort things out rather than profit from my experience as a vacationer.

We are all happy with the place and the service but not impressed with details. We are very patient and understanding people, but I can't imagine people who aren't.

We still have a few days to follow.

For the next few days ... we had been charged for parking but not informed. So I asked and they saved us that expense. Very accommodating to avoid being disappointed. I fully approve of their speed and their accommodation.

Very beautiful hotel. Always been known for it's higher class of service. The staff is kind and helpful, the place is always spotless. You will not be disappointed.

The room was very nice and clean with the exception of the TV remote, that was pretty disgusting. Was a little confused as we had to pay for parking, this hotel is not downtown, it's far west bordering on a golf course and farmfields. Room service was quick and friendly as were all the staff. They had a free shuttle to the Canadian Tire Centre (event nights only) which we used, the driver was great. The wifi was questionable, you could upgrade your speed for $10 (?) and the free service was not worth connecting to. Overall a positive experience for an adult night out but it seems this hotel is definitely not all inclusive so be prepared to pay more then the room rate for basic services.

Horrible valet service dented and scratched my car rude staff a girl named Quinn. Ottawa is full of people with horrible attitude!

I attended a conference there. The food was great. Very clean hotel. Golf course and pool and restaurant. Staff was very helpful. Would definitely recommend for events.

Attended for a friends wedding - the location itself was great however the service with the shuttle wasn't very good.

Treat yourself to the best brunch buffet in Ottawa - at least twice a year (more if your waistline can take it!) This is an outstanding restaurant, magnificent buffet meal - breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Quality decor and top notch service - the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and can cook like cordon-blue chefs! Pricey but worth every penny....

A pretty big and very North American hotel. Good rooms, nice service and live music every night. Breakfast is a little overpriced for the selection, so only four stars. Golf course is right next door as well as outdoor pool and whirlpool.

Free 3 hour parking and there is a great little jazz bar too. I did the realize all you can do at this hotel.
