Top 10 museum visits I've ever made. A must see! China Town is just down the road for an after art nosh.
Interesting works of art! They have a section for Basquiat! Highly recommend!
This is a must visit, if only for the architecture. The details are totally insane. Excellent job Architects Diller Scofidrio + Renfro.
Free! Museum of art (lots of modern art )
The Infinity Room was priceless ! But you only get 45 seconds!
From the impressive architecture to the contemporary art show on the 3rd floor, it's great and a great museum. You are free to enter here, but you must book a time period online, otherwise you may have to wait a long time to enter. We booked in advance and came in directly without waiting.
Wonderful free modern art museum where the architecture is every bit as intriguing as the art it houses.
To enter the exhibition on the third floor, it took me 5 min, I arrived at the museum at 3:00 pm on a Wednesday.
Make sure you pre order tickets ,if getting tickets there expect a long wait
Incredible collection of work from a lot of amazing artists. It's fantastic to see a wide range of each artist's work so you can see how it evolved over time.
It is a wonderful space. It's great to be able to see various works in person. If you make a reservation, you will be immediately informed of Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirror Room.
Went today. Defiantly reserve tickets and if you want the Infinity room GET THERE EARLY.1 hour after opening there was already a 4 hour wait. Also the later you go the less chance you have to see it
Focus on modern art
Make a pilgrimage for Yayoi Kusama

Three years ago and I hadn't seen friends or friends for nearly ten years, I met again because of a trip to the United States. He brought me here to appreciate art. I personally like it.
Dope spot to check out and also do the whole Instagram thing too! But cool pieces to look at. Visually stunning pieces and art work. Usually long lines but just reserve a time online for free. The Infinity Room is the one that usually has the hour(s) long wait time so get there early to sign up for that. Otherwise great spot with the usual tourist crowd.
I loved my visit to The Broad (pronounced brode not brawd). Excellent collection of modern art (Warhol, Koons, Lichtenstein, Kusama etc). I didn't make a reservation but it is recommended. I waited in the standby line for less than 10 mins to get in but check their twitter for current wait times. Free entry and you can listen to the audio guide on your smartphone connected to their wifi. If you want to see the Yayoi Kusama infinity room then sign up as soon as you go in. There was a 2 hour wait time when I was there - they text you once you're ready to go through. Great free gallery in downtown LA!
Tickets are free, but must be reserved in advance. Tickets become available on the first of each month and usually sell out fast.
I love museums that are clean and definitely have a lot to look at and this is definitely one of them. I like how the place was definitely regulated with crowd control so that way it wouldn't be so packed that made the experience much better.
The Broad has extraordinarily beautiful exhibits and there isn't enough time in the day to look at it all. I highly recommend visiting this museum!
This is probably one of the best museums I've ever visited. I especially loved Jeff Koons, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and Yayoi Kusama (Infinity Mirror) pieces!
Definitely want to make reservations. The wait can be upwards of 1.5 hours without one. But it's very cool and well worth checking out.
I went with my staff to go the Broad Museum and we looked at the art it and everything was good.
We had so much fun & its free definitely a must in LA!!!
Amazing collection! So fresh and new and inviting! Not at all stuffy and dated like LACMA worth the 2 month wait with reserved tickets!
this museum is a stunner - book the Yayoi Kusama exhibit, it's mind bending and the building itself is a work of art
Went to the music/art event they do during the summer. Had a wonderful time and would easily be back for each show if I lived in the area.
Brilliant building, and the contents to match. Some incredibly well known artists and their works. Would highly recommend to anyone with an artistic interest, not matter how small.
This is the best contemporary/modern art museum Los Angeles has to offer. But not the best LA museum overall.
Yes, all art here is by a famous artist. Yes, the building is an architectural marvel. Yes there are new exhibits every few months.
I'm giving the Broad my number 4 pick after both Gettys and Griffith because you can finish experiencing everything after about an hour. By everything I mean talking to the helpful staff about interesting pieces, reading descriptions, taking pictures, and taking a step back to admire the work. Although enjoyable, you'll be left wanting more and look elsewhere.
Despite it's size, this museum is amazing. It's worth the long line, it's worth the other special exhibit line, it's worth the infinity room line, it's worth the crowded exhibits and parking fee. Seriously, don't pass on the Broad. Just don't make it a day trip
Wonderful, airy room and wonderful galleries to roam.
Beautiful museum located in downtown LA. The exhibition was beautiful and the infinity room amazing!
Amazing modern art! Stoked I finally got to see all the pieces they had. Takashi Murakami definitely stuck out as one of my favorite exhibits!
We did not wait (2hrs line), so ended up paying $50 for our family of 4. Good collection of art in a very clean and trendy setting. I loved the Tall Table and Chairs (which was really something i looked forward to).
I really enjoyed it. What if art is not really art as we know it?
Definitely drop by if you are visiting downtown LA, worth a visit. Also it has free admissions which is an added bonus.
Free entry! Even in the standby line, on a Sunday I waited about half an hour and got in. This museum has so much variety. I found two artists here I really enjoyed and follow their work now because of this place. I couldn't say that any other local museum has had the same impact on me. They rotate out special exhibits too so you have some variety to come back to.
They also house the infinity room really does seem like infinite lights in every direction. Shame it's only for 45 seconds per visit.
I would gladly come back, even with their 17 dollar parking fee.
Great collection of different contemporary artist and styles.
Brought some friends from out of town and we all had a great time!
Great modern art museum, This museum is so interesting and easy to navigate. If you're coming from out of town and have limited time visiting the area, make sure you reserve ahead of time so you don't spend time in standby line.
Wonderful museum of iconic contemporary art works. You must visit the broad if you are visiting Los Angeles. Tickets are always free for permanent exhibitions.
One of the best museums in Los Angeles. Very organized and I would suggest always making reservations when possible. Otherwise, amazing art collections.
Came here for the infinity mirror exhibits and was so pleased with how easy and organized it was to see the work. The rest of the museum was also filled with great pieces and all of it was free. LA is really lucky to have such a great museum.
It was free, so can't go wrong there. But when we went there was only a single floor with 10 or so rooms, so we were done in less than an hour. It was a good place to kill a little time for cheap, and had a few really interesting pieces.
A beautiful museum. Even if museums aren't your thing the modern art at the Broad can be enjoyed by anyone.
Incredible pieces!!!! The wait is totally worth it!!!! Take a book for the line!!!
Good to see some modern art. Quiet and relax place.
Walking through the Beehive I found myself awe strucked by so many different art. Particularly the room with slavery. At first glance you think its a cute moment, if you look deeper you noticed its actually incredibly dark and sad.
Aside from walking through the Cave of Wonders, the most exciting moment was the light installiation on the first floor where you were given 45 seconds per person to enter a room of led lights and mirrors. It gives you this amazing Glaxy feel that you can't help but ohh and ahh about.
Def. give this room a look-see, it does however has a long wait so make sure you rsvp for a time. We were lucky to get one of the last time slot and were able to check out the rest of the museum before we got our finale!
Had to wait a few months and got my tickets in advance, this place is the most popular museum in LA right now and the hype is not just an LA thing. The museum is amazing with so many different contemporary art paintings and sculptures every room instantly fills you with the energy inside. I have visited two times after my first and i personally love and feel art so i wouldn't want to ruin anything in my review but if you're contemplating your visit i promise you will not regret it , i feel better everytime i leave this place and i love it so much. don't get me wrong the art is not all upbeat and lovely the one thing i love about contemporary art is how unique and different it is and this museum has it all the dark and intense and the pessimistic outlook brought into such a great light i truly am a huge fan of this place and just seeing the excitement in my friends eyes and even a despair look from a stranger staring at a painting is why i come back. A great museum that belongs in LA
The infinite room line is ridiculous. 3 hour wait, they tell people. But I think it's just to scare people out of line. But we our name anyways and went upstairs. By the time we came down it was our turn for the infinite room.
I've been her 4 times and seen it each time without having to wait which is nice but I noticed they've changed it a bit by adding more time (1 min instead of 45 secs) which is good. They also started turning on and off the lights which may annoy your eyes.
I think that it is wonderful to be able to touch such arts and culture free of charge. Although it happens to be, it seems that many of the works exhibited at the time of my visit are related to racial discrimination and there were many dark works overall.
Amazing place. Very interesting expositions. You can ask for a tour and it's very nice and useful.
A very busy museum. The infinity mirror rooms took me wait for several hours, but definitely wonderful experience.
Amazing experience! You got to get tickets online in advance, but it is free, good to go there
I really liked their motto free art for everyone. General admission is free. Waited for about 5 min. The collection was great. Mostly modern artists' works.
We took about 2 hrs to look around. You can take longer. The building was also a piece of art.
Special exhibition requires admission fee. Some you have to sign up before.
Loved it. Great place to appreciate art in LA.
Amazing museum, worth the wait if you did not get advance tickets.
A small venue for the permanent exposition with some items that will make your eyes widen and your mouth wicked.
The art thats shown were impressive! Art is an expression of oneself!
Original architecture, the building is worth a look but what it also contains. It is not the largest museum in the world, but famous artists are present there. Free entry, remember to book on the museum website. Otherwise there is a queue for those who have not booked, we waited 30min, I do not know if this is usual or if we were lucky to be able to come back anyway when everything was booked on the site.
