Intriguing and elegant museum that's free! If you don't make a reservation ahead, the standby line can range from 20 mins to 2 hours, but it is definitely worth. Lots of great pieces to observe and get pictures with.

The broad is a very nice museum. I'd recommend reserving online otherwise you'll have to wait outside in a very long line. When I went I waited for about an hour to get in. I really like that's the general admission is free. Other museums should follow in their footsteps as works of art should be free to view for all.

Honeycomb appearance made of stainless steel material is impressive! More than 2,000 copies of wonderful works by contemporary art masters such as Jeff Kunus, Cindy Sherman, Jean Michel Basquiat and Roy Lichtenstein have been collected by charitable Eli and edited broad for over 40 years!
It is recommended to take a look around because you can see wonderful works for free just by pre-ordering !!

Jean-Michel Basquiat and Roy Lichenstein, collected over 40-year period by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Board.

I didn t get tickets beforehand, but the line ended up being pretty short. The museum is just amazing! Full of wonderful famous and up-and-coming artists. I also loved the Yayoi Kusama installations. I got a spot in line, walked downtown to get a snack, got a text, and came back. It was perfect. Would highly recommend!

The Broad has an eclectic mix of modern art. My favorite pieces include the several works by Roy Liechtenstein and the Balloon Dog (Blue) by Jeff Koons. I recommend a visit so you can decide which works you like best.

This review is for the Yayoi Kusama exhibit. While the pieces themselves are interesting, the experience of getting from exhibit to exhibit is soul sucking.

You re herded like cattle through the whole exhibit and while the workers are pleasant enough, the whole experience just sucks all the fun out of pieces I m certain are supposed to be fun.

Pass.

Small but rich museum featuring modern and contemporary art. The architecture itself is gorgeous. Tickets are free but book in advance if you don t want to wait in line for a long time.

It s a beautiful museum and really close to other touristic attractions in Downtown LA. It s well organised and with a lot of security.
To access the infinity room it might take a while but it s totally worth it.

The Soul of a Nation exhibit is worth the trip. The pieces were compelling and thought provoking. The regular exhibits are pretty awesome too.
Be sure to arrive early to find ample time to park and enter. I'd recommend ordering tickets online ahead of time if you don't want to stand in line. You can always check Twitter for wait time info.

Visited once specifically for the Infinity Mirrors, and twice since with reservations to circumvent long lines, there is no doubt The Broad ranks among the best free collections of modern and pop art anywhere, the building itself stunning while items contained within including the likes of Koons, Warhol and Haring leave a lasting impression.

We walked in and the first thing we are told is that the special exhibition requires an extra ticket (it would have been nice to have that specified in the brochure and/or with a sign). The second thing we were told is that all the spaces for the infinity mirror room are booked (this was at 1 pm, but we were told we could check back throughout the day until closing at 8 pm. - why not let people reserve spots when they book their tickets online?) Frankly the best part of the museum was the architecture and the people watching.

Super thunderbolt museum.

Super thunderbolt museum.

Focusing on contemporary works,
Each writer picks 4-5 works,
Diverse topics,
The exhibition area is comfortable and light,
The line is clear.

The exhibition hall on the third floor is free of money.
There are also exhibitions such as Takashi Murakami, Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons.

Booking tickets online comes faster than on-site,
Save a lot of time in line,
After entering, please go to Yayoi Kusama on the left-hand side of the lobby on the first floor-
Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirror Room,
This work is the most stunning 45 seconds of the entire exhibition.
(Entering the phone will send a text message to tell you what time you can go to the first floor to see the work)
The work is a small room,
There is a galaxy-like lamp inside,
It's very beautiful to be caught in it.

Worth giving five stars to LA attractions,
The overall experience is great ~~~

The museum itself is good, but we wanted to see the Infiniti Room - no luck. Impossible to book online, by lunch time (the earliest pre-book entry time) the Infinity Room was fully booked. Very disappointed with the experience-it would be so easy to avoid it all.

If you come to Los Angeles you have to visit it, it is free but you have to take the tickets a month before on the web, they usually take them out on the first day of the month before 12 am. Enjoy it!

A must if you are in L.A. and you are interested in Contemporary Art. Represented the teachers of the last third of the S. XX. Important works. It is also opposite the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Wonderful collection of arts. Great place to visit. Recommend reserve ahead, because SO MANY PEOPLE! Also didn't get to go into that galaxy looking room (which requires reservation), disappointed, so imma take a star off from that.

You cannot stop visiting this place in Los Angeles. The building is very beautiful and the works inside are by great artists, you have to queue about 40 minutes before you go if you do not have a reservation but it is totally worth it, the tour is about 3 hours approximately.

The Infinity Room is really small (wasn't expecting that) and the museum itself is kind of small. If your favorite/interesting exhibit is coming up, make sure to book your ticket in advance to see the Infinity Room for free.

I was sad finding out i couldn't visit the infinity room. No one told us it was a limit on how many people go in a day. Had i known that would've been my first stop. This place is a art lovers imagination playground. My favorite is the huge furniture that no one is allowed to touch. It would've been dope to take a pic sitting in one chair.

What an incredible museum! Had no idea the collection was this level - Warhol's, Lichtenstein, Haring, Basquiat, Jasper Johns. And the most famous of their works. The layout of the museum is smart, museum collections upstairs. You ascend on an escalator that envelopes you like a cave or tunnel then opens up to a well lit open room with amazing art. The first floor houses the gift shop and special exhibits. It's free to the public, which is super cool. But do yourself a favor and reserve your spot online. They do take standby/walk ins but the line is long. Disney Hall is literally right next door and there are two very good (pricey but nice) restaurants adjacent. Highly recommend.

Cute

Been meaning to share this experience for The Broad... I Love this museum. We always bring our friends from out of town here when they are visiting us in Los Angeles. It gets busy on the weekends, but its a must for anyone from out of town. The art is truly amazing and the artist are wonderful.
