What an incredible museum! Had no idea the collection was this level - Warhol's, Lichtenstein, Haring, Basquiat, Jasper Johns. And the most famous of their works. The layout of the museum is smart, museum collections upstairs. You ascend on an escalator that envelopes you like a cave or tunnel then opens up to a well lit open room with amazing art. The first floor houses the gift shop and special exhibits. It's free to the public, which is super cool. But do yourself a favor and reserve your spot online. They do take standby/walk ins but the line is long. Disney Hall is literally right next door and there are two very good (pricey but nice) restaurants adjacent. Highly recommend.
