Their website is very user unfriendly and is complicated. Their so called membership is just pure money grabber and being a member honestly has no benefits to fitness workers in this industry. I agree with many users here that they never seem to pick up their phone and often times never reply back to emails. They really need a new management who is willing to help the community not just for their own private business with just the provincial name added "BC" on it.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, this place traumatized me, no joke! I wanted to get my personal training certification and called for days to schedule an exam at their facility in Burnaby. No one picks up the phone EVER!!! I called maybe 50 times and left few messages with no response back! I finally decided to drive there from Pitt Meadows to see if I can see someone in person. When I got there, I received terrible service from a tall, fat girl who treated me like I was garbage. I asked why no one picks up the phone and her response was "did you leave a message?" YES I have stupid disgusting moron!!! She was rude, condescending and a poor representation of the fitness industry! I booked my exam and next time I showed up to write it I got the same treatment but on top of it I was accused of cheating on the exam because I had my work schedule written on my hand!! What a joke of a place to hire a ride, incompetent receptionist who patronizes fitness industry members. Shame on you bcrpa!
Impossible to get a hold of, rarely ever answers calls, and when they do answer calls, they tend to be rude and unhelpful and try to refer me to their website as much as they can without actually answering the question. Only taking this because of job requirements.
Very frustrating to work with the BCRPA - no one ever seems to answer the phone line, and they do not return calls. Emails also seem to not make it through successfully to them. Good luck contacting them.
I have been a memner of bcrpa for almost 10 years. Every time I email them, they always get back to me and go out of their way to help me. I am very grateful for the services offered and I think the service is fantastic! I am surprised with the negative reviews
It's very frustrating to work with BCRPA. They either lose faxes, never read emails, or are brutal on the phone! I wish they would change management or we'd have an option in BC...but this is a joke.
