Attentive people. Affordable prices. We have rented instrumentas, purchased books and other items. All our questions and requests were patiently accomodated. When instrument had been exposed to some harsh Arizona dust after a football game it was promptly cleaned and repaired.

Bruce and his staff have been servicing my many guitars for over 10 years and have my complete confidence and trust. I highly recommend Brindley's for their impeccable service, professionalism and honesty. They have a wide variety of merchandise to suit any musician, and if they don't have it, they can get it. I'll never go anywhere else.

Just got the flute back tuned and ready to play! Quick and easy pick up. The tune only took a couple of days. If you want to rent or purchase an instrument or take lessons Brindleys is the place to go.

I had heard so many good things about this place from other musicians, so my S/O and I decided to try it out. We needed our guitars set up, mine electric, hers acoustic. When we brought the guitars in, we were given a sort of turned up nose treatment when we revealed our guitars. Mine a Purple Paul Reed Smith Custom 24, and hers an older blue Ibanez acoustic. Granted our guitars weren't the most expensive, but we both loved them dearly (Mine was an anniversary present from her, and hers was her first guitar ever). I explained to the gentleman behind the counter what was going on with my guitar (Dead fret on the high E, also needing a full set up, action lowered, set up with 10's.). My S/O explained that hers needed a set up as well. We handed over our guitars, and left with confidence.

A few days later we picked our guitars up, and went home to check them out. It. Was. Terrible. They raised the action on my PRS so high that it was almost unplayable, and the gentleman who did the set up said that he did so to get rid of the aforementioned dead fret, even though I gave express permission to do whatever was necessary to solve the issue while keeping the action LOW. That could have meant a level, crown, polish, replacement etc. Anything to keep the action low. My girlfriends acoustic buzzed so terribly on every single fret on the top three strings after we took it in, she has resorted to buying a brand new acoustic, because this place left hers unplayable. Now most people might say ''well if they messed up, take it back and have them fix it'' but believe me when I say that when we saw the condition of our instruments, I would NEVER trust them in the hands of this place again. I really wanted to like this place, but after the treatment we and our instruments received, we'll go elsewhere. Please stay away for your own good.

Love Brindley's music. Brought my Gemeinhardt open hole French flute there with the idea of getting it repaired so my daughter could use it. This would have been her first time trying out a flute. They were so honest about the costly repairs needed and recommended renting a flute to make sure my daughter enjoyed playing prior to spending a lot of money on repairs. Needless to say my older daughter is not pursuing the flute in junior high so I'm glad we ended up renting. If I decide to repair mine in the future I will for sure take it to Brindley's!

Had a guitar recently set up. Amazing customer service! I have had similar work done at several other shops but at Brindley's the associate took the extra time to give me his honest/professional opinion and go over the work that was done. Thanks for truly caring!

Had my '50s cornet serviced. They really took care of it. I needed a tuning slide released but they took it, polished it up, reshaped the bell, freed all 4 slides, popped a dent in the tuning, and reattached a brace. Way more than I asked for (but they didn't charge me any extra), and my horn plays so beautifully now. These guys are amazing. I would definitely trust them with any horn. Worked quickly and professionally.

Wow this place is amazing the owners son was an amazing person and super knowledgeable in helping me with picking the guitar back up again. Been more of a drummer most my life. hung up Playing drums years ago to pick up a guitar but working and life kept me from really wanting to learn so it was an exciting adventure checking out several music stores. when it comes to guitars I would much rather go to a mom and pop place and these guys are awesome I can t say it enough!

Took my strat in to replace a broken string. I was greeted immediately and they replaced the string with a spare I had and retuned my guitar on the spot free of charge. I bought an electronic tuner just to give some small compensation for the quick and knowledgeable service. I'll take future business there. Clearly a superior customer experience than I've encountered in the past or would have had this time had I gone to the large chain guitar store.

First off, I want to be upfront, I intended to rent a bell kit form this store for my 5th grade daughter. I didn't get that far, so I think it's only fair to disclose, this review is entirely based on my first impression.

Friday I spoke to a woman on the phone who was very helpful. I ended up reserving the bell kit online to pick up at the store on Saturday. I'll admit I never checked their closing time and I, unfortunately, arrived in their parking lot on Saturday at 5:03PM. They closed at 5:00PM. I have my very excited 5th grader in the car, so I thought, I'm not going to give up, yet. There were customers still exiting the store. I grabbed the door and went in as one of them exited. I went to the checkout counter where I explained my situation briefly to the man still checking customers out. He made it seem like it was something they could possibly do, until a woman walked up and immediately shut it down. She explained they could not check me out today and I would have to come back on Monday when they opened at 10:00AM. Again, I want to be clear, it was my fault for being late. They had already closed. I completely understand why they shouldn't have to help me out, but they were clearly still checking people out, so the registers weren't closed. All I'm saying is, how nice would that have been if they did help. It would have been a really nice gesture that could have gone a long way. I still have two more kids coming up behind my 5th grader that will most likely want to be in their 5th grade band, too. Plus, I'm a mom and mom's talk. I would have definitely spread the word about a place that went out of their way to help me. It's a shame. I'm all about supporting family owned businesses. They are usually the ones that make these types of exceptions for people.

Beware DO NOT RENT from them. They lied about insurance. They RENT beat up instruments then make you pay to fix them. Was told it would be $20 per repair then at register charged $25 per repair. Will never go back. Take my advise and take your business elsewhere

I had driven by a few times, but finally took the time to stop here today and I was blown away when I walked in the door! Do not judge this book by the cover!! Their selection and assortment of instruments is incredible, and the owner Bruce was knowledgeable and friendly answering all of my questions. If you want friendly, honest service from a local small business owner, this is your place. A person you can trust, versus the unknown online!

Great place. I had some maintenence done on a used guitar I had bought. The owner fixed the pegs, put a new bridge, restrung, and fixed the action on the guitar for 40 dollars. This is the place to go for guitar maintenence!

I normally use another shop closer to my home. Due to a backlog of 2 weeks at my normal shop I did some quick searching to find a shop that was still close to home that did not have a 2 week backlog. I called the shop and was impressed both by the backlog being more reasonable and by their knowledge as my instrument is a mandolin and is a little less common. They did a great job doing the repair and provided some great advice on humidifying my instrument which I had not been adequately doing. I really appreciated the personal touch and you have definitely earned a new customer.

This music store is one of the best I ve ever worked with; Washington, Oregon and California stores included. Super helpful and knowledgeable staff, who held the door open late just for me to drop off my instruments with them before moving to Los Angeles. Best rental pricing in the Phoenix area, too.

After more then 10 months taking lessons a the place, and incident where the owner Bruce, disrespected my 11 year old for just looking at around the store just show what kind of service this place have. Extremely disappointed with Bruce, going back there no more. I'm sure there are other places with better costumer service.
My guitar teacher was the best, so sad situation here.

Great experience.

Great experience.

Bought a used keyboard(bad idea). Couple days later things are coming loose and keys are getting stuck. Thought it was a total loss.

Found Brindleys online and called. Spoke to Gabe. Super friendly and willing to help. Brought her in and he called a week later and the keyboard is good as new.

Thanks for the help!

Terrible. The service is great but. 13 dollars for 1. 1 Bari sax size 3 Reed is way to expensive. I could get 5 for 30 on Amazon. That's a amazing price. The sax repairs are way to expensive. 100 for a check up. When you Could go down the street to superstition mountain music and get everyone about 50% cheaper.

Good music store for those looking for something specific...not much to look at for those who want to look around or window shop (especially for drum equip). Other than that, it's a good local music shop. They used to make their own brand of drumsticks, which were GREAT, but last time I went they said they no longer make them. Bummer!

I ve been into Brindley s a few times in the past and the staff is always friendly and helpful. For example, today I went in there with two pieces of gear looking for a specific cable to connect the two and although they didn t have it (understandably, it s a weird one), Bruce told me exactly what I needed and even wrote down what to get and where to get it. Customer service is so important in a business and Brindley s is not only more than happy to serve their customers, they are knowledgeable too. Also, I love the store setup! Very easy on the eyes, plenty of room and very clean. Thanks for being awesome guys. Five stars easy!

I am extremely happy I brought my guitar to Brindley's. The level of quality and professionalism is top notch. When looking for a music store to set up my guitar, I was unsure if who to trust. There is a reason this store is a staple of Chandler's creative community. The attention to detail was incredible. Paint chips, electronics, and intonation all set up for an outstanding result. I think I found a home for all my guitar needs.

Best place to rent a school instrument in the east valley. The employees are so helpful and incredibly nice. The instruments are kept in great condition and are so much nicer than any other rental you will find. They also have a great repair department. I highly recommend this music store!

This place reminds me of the family run music store near my elementary school in the Bronx from 40 yes ago. Friendly, professional, fair prices and great customer service. This is a business style gone from most companies today. I 100% recommend Brindley's for all your musical needs. You won't be disappointed.

Expensive and poor service. took my beautiful holton Bb trumpet their to have the 2nd valve slide replaced. it is a standard mass produced turmpet, ans WAS worth about $650. it was beautiful with a sparkeling finish. they lost my order and it took 3 weeks when I called them to inquire about it. i was told $40 to fix the slide (found out later that part only cost $15) and it would take a week. they chem washed it, wich i said to not do and it RUINED my trumpet. it looks like crap, their is 3 dents in my bell where their weren't any before and after i called at the 3 week point it still took another 2 for them to get around to fixing it. in the end, they ruined my finish, put the wroung part on, and dented my trumpet multiple times. O AND they expected me to pay $85 for it all. they chem washed it because they forgot to write down the repair needed and assumed it was a was, and they charged me for their mistake. Good at smooth talking but anyone can seem like they know what their saying. they were horrabile and unless you want to over pay and have your instrument ruined, dont go here. o and my sisted paid $1000 for a flute which was "new"...the saudering from when it was returned to them from the last owner broke in about a week and they repaired it wroung 3 times before they got it right where it broke again 3 days later.

My son wanted to buy from a local shop. He spent $400 of his own money on a used guitar, new amp and cord. The cord tip broke off in the amp input 3 weeks after purchase ruining the cord and amp. My son attempted to get a replacement with his receipt in hand and was told he would need to pay for the repair of the amp. When I called and spoke to the owner Bruce I encountered an arrogant and condescending man with little to no concern for the customer. Instead he proceeded to blame my son for the faulty cord and infer that the damage was caused by something he did. Mind you he has played on entry level equipment for years and never had a single issue. We also had an independent professional agree that the cord was faulty and caused the damage to the amp input. Regardless Bruce repeatedly told me something was fishy, that 2 plus 2 told him something else happened, that he had been in business for 43 years and I didn't know anything and took the Lords name in vain time after time during our conversation. When I told him it was unfortunate that he wouldn't correct the issue he told me I would be blackmailing him if a bad review was left. Sorry Bruce but their were no threats made, only a customer wanting others not to have their hard earned money thrown away. Be a professional. Based on some of the other reviews I have looked at it appears we are not the first, second or even third customers treated this way. When he continued to argue and obsess that he would dispute a review and it was apparent nothing else mattered I hung up. No amount of logic would change this mans mind. Fortunately we know the truth and he can convince himself otherwise all he wants. Their are plenty of local shops lile Milanos and corporate shops like Guitar Center who appreciate the business and know the value of a loyal customer!

Super knowledgeable! I called with questions about a specific guitar for my husband out of states and he helped me find answers. I appreciate all his help and aid in steering me in the right direction. My husband has had his eyes on this and its been the most difficult dream to help him achieve. I will only come to Bruce Brindleys shop because he actually takes the time and cares about his customers. That is how I know he'll take care of my husbands sweet pride and joy when I find it! Thanks so much for your help. Happy Holidays!
