I know these reviews are only to be written if you've visited the attraction, but many of my friends have gone to the attraction many times over the years and I've only heard amazing things! I live fairly close to the attraction and I'm hoping that maybe I can check it out soon ((with friends because I would be horrified if I went alone haha))

We came last year and it was the best attraction we have been to. This year, they became the commercialized attraction where hundreds of people come every night and they just push groups through the haunt with no time in between the group in front of you. Right after the tunnel attraction your groups walks right into Brighton asylum with the entire group you walked through the tunnel with. Our group walked through the entire Brighton asylum only seeing 6 actors. Bleeding grounds is the only reason this review has two stars, actors were great and groups were not right on top of each other.

Aesthetically the haunted house has to be one of the best I ve ever been to, that is a great plus for this type of attraction but sadly this is not why someone goes to a haunted house. I brought 7 tickets for my family which cost me over $400. For the majority of the time my family and I were walking through the attraction admiring the decor and no one came out to scare us. All 3 haunted houses took us less than 1 hour to walk through with limited scaring, and there was only 1 guy with a chainsaw who didn t even follow you and was just standing in one spot. It was very disappointing after spending so much money. After we got out of the last house a lady was waiting for us to ask about our experience. I have the attraction a 2/5 and when I explained that the scares were very limited, she agreed and stated because of COVID a lot of the staff wasn t showing up, but hopefully it will be better next year . That was an unacceptable response because I came TODAY.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FAST PASS! so you can just skip to the front and enjoy the haunted house, the lines were incredibly long but the actors kept the people entertained.

Very, very interactive, amazing props, actors and animatronics, the actors camouflaged with the environment so you never knew where they were coming from, get the glow sticks to get the full experience!

Looking forward to next year!

The Night of the creeps event at Brighton Asylum t...

The Night of the creeps event at Brighton Asylum this past Saturday was phenomenal. The costumes and make up were well done and very convincing. The scenery and props were well done and it was obvious that detail thought and care went into creating the atmosphere at Brighton. The atmosphere was creepy. The actors were well mannered, but gave you bang for your buck. There was an actor donning the porcelain vampire doll who got me everytime I walked though. There was another actor who changed scenes everytine I came around just to get me which she did. There was a scene dedicated to rob zombies the devils rejects in which the actors jump scared me several times. The actors changed things up everytime as much as they could to scare customers such as myself which was successful and we'll executed. The security were well mannered and funny. Being entertained before the creeps and hauntings started was delightful and grand. All haunt enthusiasts and haunt junkies such as myself should go to Brighton Asylum at least once.

Honestly this place is overrated and overpriced. The area is not safe, and we had to wait 2+ hours in the express line.

The actors are talented and the sites are scary but there were not many actors throughout and it only took about 20 minutes to get through the entire place. We also had no idea which way to go throughout the asylum.

Also, there was little to no security. The type of people that went were unsavory and obnoxious. This is not the fault of the asylum I think it s just the area, however our group did not feel safe with that many people like that and no security. Between the cursing, intoxication, overall ratchet behavior do NOT bring kids. Maybe if they raised prices they could filter the crowds.

The actors will touch you even if you don t have a glow necklace.

Save your money and go somewhere else.

Wish I could rate this lower. No line organization. People cutting the line all over the place. Waited 4 hours for a 20 minute attraction. The line is scarier than the attraction. Not worth it without the fast past bought online. Upgrading to fast past also is $20 and an hour wait. Make sure you get fast pass!

I have been to this haunted few times and really enjoy its set designs. It seems strange when you are pulling into the place as it is in the back of a series of warehouses. You feel like you are going somewhere that you shouldn't be. I do think that the parking signs could be a little bit better and the parking lot itself is small, but they do have staff to help Direct.

It keeps getting better every year however my only comment that kept me from giving 5 stars was the lighting changed last year you were able to appreciate the haunt the colors were sepia, browns, copper reminded me of silent hill this year was too dark to enjoy the detail don't take away from the amazing paint job you guys have will return next year. Wait is long but line moves

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!! We waited 4 hours, yes 4 hours in line. It was absolutely ridiculous and not worth is at all. by the time it was our turn to go in, I just wanted it to be over with, just walked through and wasn't scared at all. they have no organization whatsoever. If I could give it less then 1 star I would.

I am absolutely no exaggerating and would not lie on my review, we got to the asylum at 8:45 and got into the asylum at 1am, you do the math.

I also think it s ridiculous that instead of apologizing they have the audacity of calling me a liar and labeling me disorganized. We asked various workers how much longer the wait would be and they all said they didn t know, one of the workers even agreed with us when we said that it was disorganized. Very disrespectful, obviously the person replying has never worked a day in customer service.

Unfortunately I could not just go another day. We planned that specifically a month in advance, because I have a daughter and we had to get a babysitter. Your right I didn t have to wait in the line. But I can definitely let everyone know how crappy your customer service is and make sure none of my family and friends ever go.

PS. Please take some customer service classes and learn to be more respectful.

Best experience I ve ever had at a haunted house. I was a huge fan of Nightmare Attraction as a kid and young adult and when I found out Brighton Asylum was run by the same owner, I knew I was in for an incredible experience. The elevator simulation was unlike anything I ve ever experienced at a haunt before. The props and set design were top notch. Well worth the wait and the ticket price. Looking forward to the haunts they have going on for the winter season!

What a great, great place! My husband and I have been several times. A few years ago we did the haunted house which was awesome! We went back this past Halloween and did the haunted houses, which they now have multiple sections, all really fun. We also did the 1408 escape room, our first escape room and it was definitely challenging but again, great time. The staff is super informative and knowledgeable, even the actors. Definitely suggest doing the fast pass so you can bypass the long lines.

Went last night to the Dark Valentine event at the Brighton Asylum and I have to say, My girlfriend & myself had a great time. This was the second time visiting this location and this event was even better then the first event I had came to. The whole experience was super good. The impersonators & costumes were
Very realistic & scary. The sound effects and the traps made it very real.. I would definitely recommend everyone who is into doing these types of event to surely visit Brighton Asylum.
You will surly get your moneys worth & not be disappointed with the outcome.. on a scale of 1-10 .. I give it an 11

Pretty disappointing. I really wanted to like it. We have been debating on going for the last few years. I guess its more of a family thing, the place was full of little kids. Went to Bane the week before so maybe I was expecting too much. This was a few steps above a Disney ride. I thought it was an actual old hospital like they claim but its a warehouse. The sets and costumes were pretty good but that's about it. We were in and out of the 2 attractions in about 40 min.
I personally wouldn't recommend this place to any adult that is actually looking to get scared. If you have an extra $30 bucks and are looking for something to do and aren't too into getting scared but want to do the haunted thing...check it out I guess.

and to the owner that obviously cant take and real criticism about their spot....The spin you around in a box place like you say is actually pretty damn cool. been there 3 times and Ill be going back. This place is crossed off my list. You have a good thing going, place was packed, make your money but don't act like a kid and get at anyone that didn't really like it.

The attractions are good, but if you are going to go you need the scared stiff fast pass. If you don t get a fast pass, it s going to be well over 2.5hrs. With the necklace, the actors only guide and touch your shoulders. Nothing crazy!! Fun way to get in the spooky spirit

Has a scary vibe, and other activities to do while your there. Haunted house was really well done, decorations where well placed. Could have used more people to scare, didn't have as many from other places I've been but overall it was great. It has an escape the room and also axe throwing place. Really worth the money spent for a scare

Not worth it. There are much better haunted houses. Actors don't try very hard. Probably tired. Seemed understaffed with actual number of actors inside. They let the groups enter too closely to one another.

It was awesome I just went tonight and it was awesome. I have this rating a 4 because I just wish that we could have all went together. There were 10 of us so I understand. Last time I went I was 10 and there were 7 of us. So there was 4 in one group and 3 in another. So today I was surprised that there was 5 at a time. After all, it was a great time and I can t wait to go again.

We brought relatives visting all the way from England. The wait to get in was extremely excessive, from the long line to the second unexpected line inside the building. Granted there were staff dressed to entertain people while guests waited, but the overall experience did not merit the wait. None of my group was very impressed as advertised. Sorry Brighton Asylum, but I don't think we will be back.

I went to Brighton Asylum with my wife. The line was at least a 3 hour wait. 1/2 way through the line we stopped caring about the attraction, we just wanted to get it over with. There were beer bottles all over the ground, garbage, people cutting in line. Wasn t worth the overpriced tickets. There was only like 6 actors that we saw that weren t that scary to be honest. I recommend to go to bane haunted house instead. They won t force you to be grouped up with random people. This review is NOT fake because I was just there last night. Get your act together Brighton Asylum.
