I started at Brentwood Academy as a sixth grade student. All of the way until high school, were great. However, little did I know that i had stepped into a school with bullies, rapists, teachers who merely teach using online notes, tests, and quizzes. this school is greatly focused on Athletics. As a students who prioritizes on Academics and my Christian faith, I found this school as a hindrance to my full potential. Possible Brentwood Academy parents, I am speaking with many years of experience at this horrific school. Athletes were given special privileges over the rest of the student body. For example, a student who i will keep nameless was the quarterback for the football team and star basketball player. However, when he was caught cheating along with students who were not superior athletes, his actions were basically pardoned to ensure greatness for the school's athletics. However, for the other students, many of them were expelled. This school prides itself on its "Christian" influences. However, the school had minuscule christian effects on there students with the exception of a 10 minute shallow chapel once a week. As a parent, would you like to send your children to a school that has been found to have rapists, bullies, pardoned drug addicts, and neglectful teachers? As a parent I would not ever send my children to this school. In addition to all of these things, with the current lawsuit, tuition cost will continue to dramatically sky rocket each year. I am currently attending a private school with much lower tuition and some of the most welcoming, friendly people that I have ever met. Thank you for reading, and best of luck in finding a school that helps your child grow academically, spiritually, and athletically.
