Food is very good, definitely a higher end establishment (prices as well). Presentation is very nice, service is tremendous. Would definitely come back!

creole, mmm, super satisfying. Normally I would have posted a pic but food looked so good I couldn't stop. Will surely make a return trip. Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is similar to a place in Columbus I loved.

Great Food and Service. Our Servers Jeremy and Jonathan were terrific! Hubby and I had the Shrimp and Grits plus the Gumbo. Its great for dates or meetings!

Everyone here is so kind and helpful! The food is just as good! Great ambiance outside and inside dining.

The atmosphere is nice, the staff is friendly, and the prices are good. Now that that's out of the way, let's focus on the food! Oh my goodness, but the food is delicious. The menu has a lot of different choices, and you cannot go wrong with any of them. Everyone in our party tried something different and each person loved their dish and shared it with others. All the food was well prepared and presented. The flavors in each were very rich and filling. We will definitely come back to this location!

We had a huge party of 10. It was restaurant week so we got a chance to try many different dishes at a freat price. We was also able to share with the table. It started off rocky because it took a waiter about 15 minutes to bring us menus. They made it up and they turned out to be really nice and helpful. I would go back.

My company and I had an evening dinner in the Wine Room and it was absolutely lovely. The atmosphere was breathtaking and the food was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. The staff was also very accommodating and Nicole Wilker provided excellent service in making the reservations. Unfortunately i didn't take any pictures.

Awesome atmosphere, good place for a quiet evening out. Will go back again.

Had my marriage dinner here. Outstanding. Love it. The food amazing, the waiters were so attentive and awesome, the ambience was lovely.

Service was fantastic, and the food was great! The turtle soup was really good, and I highly recommend it!

1st time here, food was ok, not what I was expecting. The bananas foster was absolutely the best I have had, and Joe our server gave us amazing service. Just wish I had enjoyed the main dish.

Totally enjoyed this dinning experience. There was a group of us and the service was outstanding. Everyone raved about the food, some of our favorites were the steak, Turtle Soup, amazing grits, and not to forget to mention the month watering desserts... love the pecan pie.

Honestly my favorite evening place. I had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I loved.

If I could give Brennan's a million stars, I would. This establishment is the best of the best! We decided to move our wedding up by 6 months, from San Antonio to Houston for my grandmother who is ill. I was told many times by husband's family to go check out Brennan's as a space for our reception. From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I knew it was the place we needed to have our wedding reception. The staff was so friendly and Nicole, the events manager, was so knowledgeable and assisted us through the entire planning process. Our wedding reception was PHENOMENAL-- a day we will never forget. Nicole and her staff were exceptional. Not to mention the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious. Eddie, one of the staff members, was with my husband, our wedding party, our families, and I all evening-- ensuring that we had champagne or a beverage in our hands at all times. He also carried my lip gloss with him and ensured that I reapplied all evening-- talk about five-star service! Wally, the bartender, was amazing to all of my guests, serving them any drink of their choice and letting them "create their own cocktails." Nicole was our angel through the entire night. When we arrived early for the reception with our entire wedding party, I had taken my wedding dress off and changed into a robe to steam out some wrinkles in my dress. While in my robe, I had wanted to walk around see the ballroom, but realized my robe was see through, so I decided to stay hidden in the balcony room and wait till later. Nicole saw that I wanted to walk around and quickly ran to her office loan me her oversized sweater to let me walk around the 2nd floor and see the beautiful decor. Once dinner was served, Eddie and Nicole quickly grabbed an oversized napkin to cover my wedding dress, making sure that I got no food on my dress. Again, FIVE STAR SERVICE. We had the time of our lives this past Saturday and would do it over again in a second. At the end of the night, my husband and I kept saying that would have paid 10x what we paid for the food and service we received. Our guests are still calling and sending texts raving about the incredible service and food-- "best wedding we've ever attended!" My husband, our families, and I are forever grateful for Brennan's for making our wedding the most memorable day of our lives. Thank you Nicole, Eddie, Wally, and the rest of Brennan's staff! We appreciate everything you do!

If you are looking for classic, Creole cuisine and cocktails in the city of Houston, look no further than Brennan's. This is the go-to place when you have a craving for just about anything that defines New Orleans!! You can get their very tasty gumbo; sugarcane smoked beef rib; Creole-spiced ribeye; bacon-brined pork chop; honey-roasted duck; stuffed flounder; or choose from a variety of soups, salads, and other Creole favorites. They also serve several delectable sides; such as greens, andouille mac & cheese, and fried cauliflower. They also have awesome Southern-inspired desserts, like bread pudding, pecan pie, and Mississippi mud pie. Whatever you decide, do not forget to try their famous pralines!! Simply the Best! Old Houston fine dining. It just gets better each year. New Orleans French Quarter ambiance. The daily specials are always superb-especially the Tile fish when in season. The shrimp gumbo is the best in town. Several years ago, when Kayla was still there, I hosted the opening night Patron Dinner for 140 HGO patrons ad Brennan's performed with perfection, ease & grace. Opera patrons who were there are still talking about the event and are in agreement that the fabulous dinner was the best opening night dinner ever! You will not be disappointed with the food, presentation and service!

Excellent service! We went for date night and had on ripped jeans, there was a sign that said no ripped jeans or tennis shoes. We ended up turning around and leaving. Somebody came and got us and said they would still serve us. Just have us on the deck or lounge. We really appreciated this extra effort, it s the little things!!

breakfast at this place - very good. Got there about three, it wasn't crowded. I had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. Bring your appetite because portions are generous. This place has many great reviews for a reason.

Beautiful resteraunt & elegant place for any event! They do have private rooms for guests or even a table in the kitchen! Highly recommend their happy hour, $7 apps and drinks until 7pm

One of my favorite American restaurant in Houston. At lease I will go every year on the houston Restaraunt month. Sometimes for lunch sometimes for dinner.

This year we decide to go for the dinner menu, looks like it has plenty of selections. We arrived on time, since it is a bday celebration, the restaurant decorated our table with bday ballons, which is awesome!

Service is superb, the free garlic bread appetizer was so good that I was half full when my real dish came. Lol. $3 orange juice, not bad.

Turtle soup has very strong flavor, not bad, I ordered the fried frog leg, big portion, fresh meat, crispy outside, tender inside, didn't taste like chicken. Lol. My entre was the 6oz filet, thank god i ordered the medium rare, my friend had the medium and it was super dry, the short rib was also very dry, sides on that entree was super salty, although the flavor was there, the presentation is not bad, but the dryness and salty is almost in most dishes. Even tho for the price of $45, it is not a bad deal with Brennan's but I don't feel it's their regular standard, definitely didn't meet my expectations.

Banana frosting is always the best desert with the cooking in front of us. My donuts are pretty good with the hazelnut sauce on the side.

Like I said, the service is great, ambience is super nice. But the food was pretty disappointing.

Hope they will do better, it's a good thing for participate in this houston restaurant week event, I hope they will cherish this opportunity.

Couldn t be in New Orleans for Mardi Gras season so came here for a real New Orleans experience. This is old school, French quarter ambiance, service and food. From the crab & corn bisque to the beignets and everything in between the food was superb. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. The was exceptional. This was my 4th visit and it has been excellent each time.

My husband and I dined here for the first time and the food/service was excellent. They serve the most delicious bananas foster I have ever tasted!

Went here for my best friends wedding it was so beautiful and food was very wonderful!

September 15, 2018 my wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at Brennan's.
We had 30 guests for dinner.
We planned the event with Linda.
Everything was exactly as we planned!
The ordurves we're Terrific, the selection of wines outstanding!
The dinner meals were excellent and the service waiters were professional and engaged with our guests.
A 50th anniversary only comes ONCE and Brennan's made it unforgettable! Bravo Brennan's, bravo!

I took my husband for his birthday, the restaurant is great our waitress was AWSOME but we were so disappointed that even though this place was rated to be one of the best places to eat a steak in Houston they do not know how to cook a medium well steak!!!! We had to send back the steak 3 times and after a failed 3rd attempt for them to get it right we decided just to take it home so my husband can finish cooking it at home..... Since my food got cold they were great on giving us our sides again when they brought the stake out the 3rd time. Nice restaurant but bad experience and this was our first time there!!!
