Loved sitting on the large porch watching the world go by. This is a throwback to old charm. Not a contemporary hotel but great old charm. The owners Doug and Judy make you feel like family. Can't wait to get back. Forget Napa. Stay in Calistoga. :-) Jim & Mary, Denver, CO

Brannan Cottage was incredible. Everything from the staff to the room made the trip for my wife and I. The only thing we wish is that we could have stayed longer. They had thought of every detail from a cheese tray upon arrival to fresh cut fruit for breakfast. We were running late arriving and Eden suggested a few wineries that would accommodate our time crunch. In the morning Kathleen wrote down multiple activities for us to do in Napa and beyond in San Francisco (where we were headed next). I would recommend this place and Calistoga in general to anyone. We will be back!

Only stayed for one night but when we pulled up in the evening to check into our room there was a note on the office door saying we had to drive to another location down the street to get our room key and then drive back. It would have been courteous if they would have let us know this before hand so we did not have to drive back and forth and waste time checking in. We also had to drive to the other location to check out as well, which was not very convenient.

Besides the above the whole place was pretty run down and not kept up at all. There was a dirty work bench to the side of our room with a bunch of junk and tools on it. Inside our room was dirty and dusty. The pictures made it look charming but it is definitely not kept up that way. There is a lot of work that needed to be done to our room and the exteriors for it to look and function properly. Another annoying thing, there were about a weeks worth of newspapers thrown on the lawn and front walk way that were never picked up.

Upon checking out we were asked how are stay was and I replied "not the greatest." The man never asked why or said anything else. Will definitely be passing on this place if we ever come back to Calistoga.

We absolutely loved our experience at the Brannan Cottage Inn. A perfect mix of modern conveniences and period specific character, the Inn sits in a great location to make the most of a Napa valley trip. The staff took great pride in making sure we were getting everything we needed, going above and beyond to ensure an amazing stay. Highly recommended!!!!

My wife surprised me with a pre-Valentine's stay at the Brannan Cottages... and it was truly what we needed to get away and unwind from the hustle and bustle of life. The room was perfect in every way (bed, heated floors, decor, espresso, etc), the cottage and grounds immaculate, and most important... Eden and Kathleen treated us like family, providing us one-on-one, personalized service! They each took the time to educate us on the historical aspect of the building/inn and of surrounding Calistoga and provided us with enough local information to truly enjoy our stay in the valley. We've already recommended Brannan Cottages to our friends and family and cannot wait to return!

Loved our stay here! Bed was comfortable, bathroom floor was heated, room was very clean, the community area was very comfortable, location was great.... I would absolutely stay here again and I plan on recommending it to friends spending the weekend in Calistoga. Eden was very helpful with everything including securing us a reservation for dinner in town.

We called to schedule a visit, I called 4 times within 2 hours and eventually just I left a message stating that I wanted them to verify our dates before buying a groupon. The women said they have 2 more rooms and I told her I was going to hang up, buy the groupon, and call back within 5 minutes. When I returned the call, she wouldn't allow us to book with the groupon? I was so irritated that she confirmed the date and then allowed me to purchase this groupn which she wouldn't honor. Then said she needed to check with her boss - so we sent her our groupon showing that there were absolutely no blackout dates but they STILL wouldn't honor our groupon. I'm a freaking teacher - I don't have this kind of money! This company is very rude and has cost me hundreds of dollars. And they don't answer their phone. Terrible customer service.

Wonderful place. Right off of the main street (across Indian Springs) and close to all the food places in Calistoga. We loved the room and wifey approves the heated floor in the bathroom. Only improvement could be better TV (HD channels and better programming). Eden was very helpful, she went beyond her way to suggest us few very good local restaurants for dinner, even suggested to make reservations beforehand (as things are pretty booked over weekends in Calistoga). Their cafe is great with strong coffee and delicious quiches.

This was a wonderful place to stay while in town. The staff are so helpful and welcoming, thanks Eden! We used the free bikes around town and it s very close to good restaurants. The coffee shop on site is the cherry on top. They have goooood coffee!

Beautiful room w/ bathroom floor heater, wonderfully convenient location to dwtn & wineries, great morning coffee and danish. Look forward to getting back ASAP.

It was very cozy and romantic. The heated floors and in room fireplace were a plus. It was also within walking distance to great restaurants. My husband and I had a great time and look forward to coming back.

Loved our stay. Very clean, comfortable bed, short walk to town. We will definitely be staying here again. The manager gave us great info on restaurants and a driver (Eric) for wine tasting.

The Brannan Inn is so charming, and the service of the staff is exceptional!!! They all have a can do attitude which I think is so important!! Eden the manager is very accommodating and knowledgeable about everything Calistoga
Sam s General Store and Cafe is perfect for breakfast and they have the most delicious coffee and breakfast items! I loved the quiche and egg white bites, but the Everything Avocado Toast was out of this world! They also have very fresh sandwiches to take on a picnic or on a bike ride that the Inn supplies!
You can easily walk to town and shop in the quaint stores along the way!!!!
Our room was very clean and beautifully decorated! I felt very safe and the Inn follows all guidelines for COVID-19 which is so very important to us!! Can t wait to go back!!

I booked this through the Hotel Tonight app very last minute. It was a lovely experience. They served smoothies, pastries, coffee and tea in the morning. My room had a wonderfully comfortable bed and a beautiful bathroom. Loved the shower. The room had an automatic illy coffee maker which I loved. It was a great experience and I would definitely return!

We loved our stay at Brannan Cottage Inn! The hotel was lovely, and the rooms were great. Breakfast every morning was included, and the avocado toast was exceptional! The service was also outstanding. Eden was so helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

Beautiful historic Inn located walking distance from restaurants and shops. Top notch service and comfortably appointed rooms. Don t miss breakfast or lunch at Sam s General Store. We had a wonderful visit from beginning to end!

We loved this hotel and the hospitality. Eden, Brannan Cottage's Marketing and Hospitality director, gave us a tour of the stately old home and told us all about the history as we enjoyed locally brewed coffee in the parlor. Our room was a perfect pairing of antique meets modern and very comfortable. It could not have been any better!

What an amazing place. Private place for every couple. Nice breakfast, great coffee, big TV with Netflix and more, great design and pleasent hospitality. Every thing was just great.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We really enjoyed the property and took full advantage of the courtyard and lawn areas, enjoying bottles of wine in the quaint area. Location is great; short walk to main drag of Calistoga, and convenient drives to dozes of wineries. Would stay here again.

Brannan Cottage Inn was the perfect romantic getaway for my wife and I. We were visiting the Napa Valley for wine tasting and exploring and wanted a unique place to stay. This was top notch! The innkeeper, Eden, was extremely hospitable and proved to be a fantastic concierge as well. She had dinner reserved at a fine restaurant the night we arrived. The room was great; very quaint, comfortable, and was the perfect mix of vintage and modern. The bathrooms have temperature controlled floors and spa showers. Drip coffee and a continental breakfast is available in the mornings in the main house. The location is great as well, a bit removed but right down the road from downtown for all the shops and restaurants. We definitely appreciated the service and family-like atmosphere.

Our room, number 3, was very nice, recently updated, clean, and quiet with a large bathroom with plenty of shelving for our toiletries. The shower was large with three shower heads and lots of on demand hot water. The bed was very comfortable with two large pillows for each of us. Unfortunately, breakfast was a disappointment. We each had a voucher that said we could choose one item and unlimited coffee. The coffee was very good, however, one item from the menu was not sufficient for a breakfast. We chose the quiche which was quite tasty but, again, very small, more like a snack. The meager breakfast is why I am giving it four stars instead of five.

Room was smaller than anticipated. Otherwise, very presentable, clean, and friendly environment. Bed was extremely comfortable. Room had Roku TV for Netflix and Amazon Instant Videos, along with Satellite TV. Staff was very friendly!

Beautiful inn in the heart of Calistoga, really historic home yet the rooms have every modern amenity you could want (e.g. heated floors, luxurious bathrooms) and are really private. Kathleen was so hospitable and great to visit with, thanks for the great coffee and smoothies! We'll definitely stay again next time we're in Calistoga

Had a great stay at the Brannan Cottage Inn. Service was phenomenal. Kathleen was lovely and gave great suggestions for things to see off the beaten path. The room was well appointed and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

What a truly wonderful experience it was staying at Brannan Cottage Inn! From the moment my girlfriend and I booked a room to the moment we checked out (and even after), the customer service has been top notch and so incredibly welcoming. Eden was incredibly kind and helpful -- helping us reserve an extra night, offering to put flowers and a custom card in the room as a surprise for my girlfriend on Valentine's Day, checking with me via text to see if a room tidying up was needed while we were out wine tasting, and being very accommodating with delicious homemade smoothies, pastries, and coffee & tea in the morning.

The cottage itself is beautiful, the rooms comfy with old-fashioned charm yet featuring integrated modern features (TV w/ Roku, heated bathroom floors and new shower fixtures). It's no wonder it won a remodeling award! But don't worry, it still maintains its historical charm -- from the exterior columns and hardwood floors in the foyer to the old piano that sadly I'm not skilled enough to play).

We'll definitely be staying there again in the future! Thanks for everything, Eden!

We had a very nice stay at the Brannan Cottage Inn. It's a sweet place and our room was great. Location just at the top of town makes it easy to be in town in 2 minutes. Eden and her colleagues are wonderful hosts and the new store & improvements look wonderful. Highly recommend.

Every thing about #brennancottageinn is PERFECT! Service, location, effortless chic vibe, historical provenance, newly opened and adorable Sam's General Store, quiet room, super amazingly comfortable bed, and above all, an authentic wine country experience at a bargain when compared to other hotels in the area. 100% recommend

Adorable location. Super friendly staff - very accommodating! Clean, nice rooms! Heater floors in the bathroom seemed silly but were amazing! We highly recommend this place.
