We went for the art show, strangely, we didn't love it. The food options were limited (fries, pretzels, hot dogs, etc) nothing too fun or special. We were hoping for more local art but many people were from out of state.

We came for the last weekend of the season.
Snow was well groomed.
They pack alot of fun in a small resort.
The lift lines were short, kickers were well made, and we didn't hit many icy patches.
Staff are friendly and accommodated our large family in the 2nd floor restaurant.

Pricey. But then again, probably most winter sport areas.
Not too crowded, even on a Sunday, though. No lines & the best snow that you can get, considering the weather conditions.

Being open until late evening even during weekdays? that's just plain awesome.

Rental stuff is ok with smallest snowboard being 100 cm. Bindings are gigantic though, even for size 1 boots. make sure to have the rental team change the setting on the binding in order to have a nice even position on the board.

It's fun but if you've been to larger resorts, you'll feel it repetitive quickly. A minute or 2 down and into chairlift lines. Maybe 5 mins down if you go edge to edge making turns on longer hills.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced!

I paid for snow lessons but my schedule changed so I could no longer attend them. I called the first week of January for a refund and was told that I could come by and get my refund on a gift card. I saw that Boston Mills was open from the website, so I drove an hour there. They told me that the front office was open but not the snow club so they couldn't help me. I explained to the front office that it is a two hour drive for me to come out (an hour there and an hour back) so she said that she would have them call me about it and ask them to mail it to me.

After that I spoke to at least EIGHT different people who called me once to get my information - promise to call me back - and never hear back from them again - I would have to call again and talk to someone new. This turned into TWO MONTHS of frustration and headache - tired of being jerked around.

Then a week ago, I talk to a new person in their office and told him about the two months of trouble and he said he would figure out how to refund my money on a gift card and call me either that night or the next day at the latest. I never heard back from him! Then I got a phone call today and she wanted to know about the refund and she tells me that I they would charge me A FEE to have it mailed.

After two months the only request I made was that they wave this fee - especially since I had already drove out there once like they requested. I did not want to spend my only day off driving there - but they refused to wave the fee. It wasn't about the money - It was about them acknowledging the trouble I had been through.

This is the worst service I have every received.

This place was amazing from beginning to end. The line was huge, but somehow moved extremely quickly and Swiftly. At the booth the employees were friendly, helpful, cheerful, and inviting. I had no idea how to ski at all and the trainer helped me till I got the hang of it. Definitely recommend this place to friends and family looking to have an eventful and exciting time. No complaints. Best customer service. Amazing staff. Well done guys

Great place when I go there everything is so organized, the workers are nice and Even when there is a warm front Boston Mills is ready with a fleet of snow macines. Also their is a great emergency force always at the ready if you ever get hurt. As a bonus their is a ski/snowboard shop next to the rentals if your new and want some gear to call your own. The costumer service their is great as well as the food although overpriced. I am overall satisfied.

Boston Mills/Brandywine are my home hills. I live 20 mins away so it on a whim I have decide to head down and do some runs on the hills. (Ohio pass ftw!) Have been snowboarding for around 6 years now and started on the bunny hills at both resort.

Very happy with both resort's facilities. Between the two, Brandywine has the newer and more modern lodge. Boston mills has much more of a ski shack look and feel while Brandywine has a more utilitarian look and feel to the building and dining area.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Had an incident just today where I accidentally dropped a Bluetooth earbud and one of the lift crew was able to scour the muddy grass where it dropped and retrieve it for me. Eternally grateful to him for that!

Of course I wish we had bigger and longer runs but given the ease of access and terrain available in northern Ohio, they do they best with what they have.

Absolutely recommend visiting either resort and making some runs!

Brandywine is better for absolute beginners. Both nice for intermediate to advanced. Not huge runs but fun. Pricey, but hey, its skiing in Ohio. Nice terrain parks with boxes and ramps. Fridays can be packed with high schools and college in the evening.

I have been going here for 35 years and its been a great place when it was privately owned .Now that Vail resorts has bought them it appears to me they are raising their prices to the extreme for aplace that is just a hill . I dont see any senior rate so far and the old Pick a Day passes are gone . These were very affordable for family skiing . .They are saying how great their epic and EpicLocal passes are because you can ski out of state at certain resorts they own .Good luck with that with the covid plus most people ski locally 99 % of the time I believe . Vail has to sevice all the debt they have accumulated by purchasing all these resorts and it appears you and I are GONNA PAY FOR IT WITH THEIR REDICULOUS RATES IN MY OPINION . Bet they raise food and drink even higher than last year .

Long lines, no organization, need to rope off the lines or have more staff. I don't mind spending the money for good family fun but I don't like only getting 8 runs down the hill in three hours. Very disappointed. We won't be back. Go to Snow Trails in Mansfield. They limit the amount of tickets sold and the lines, if any, are always organized.

Alittle busy with kids on Friday during the day but thins out early evening. They do a great job of watching everyone n maintaining the hills. Its well lit up at night n so much fun for everyone. Before you plan a trip, I would call and make sure they are open and there is plenty of snow.
Know your limits and have a blast!

Close by and right in the Cuyahoga Valley National Forest. This is our 1st year using this facility and has been a good time. Food and drink is on site and there is a deck to observe some of the slopes when taking a break.

I larned how to ride here as a kid. BM/BW/Alpine are fantastic places to learn. If you're looking to just ride it can get boring quick. Unless dodging children with poor etiquette is fun to you. The terrain parks are pretty simple too but that's what I go for. It definitely turns a rather basic place into a ton of fun for me.

Actual trash, i am a loyal season pass owner, my friend bought a season pass and dropped his card off of the ski lift, they said it would cost $25 dollars to print out another plastic card. A square of plastic for $25 dollars after paying hundreds for the season pass?

It's great for new people learning to ski because it's close for people in Ohio. I think it's a little bit expensive for the small hills and old run down lifts. There are good deals like student id night or ladies nights to make the cost a little better.

Great place especially for us beginners
Decided to take the family and see what Boston Mills skiing was like. The website info wasn't current but the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. An instructor, JoAnn even got her wraps back on after she clocked out to give us a lesson! Thanks

My kids have been skiing here for 3 years now with their schools ski club!! Do NOT bring any of your own equipment because they have people who have figured out that Brandywine does not care about your items and there security is crap so thieves go around and take what ever they see of value that they can rob and get away with it! My son left his ski helmet on a bench realized it walked back to the bench and it was gone, stolen!! My daughters boyfriend went for the first day of ski club this year with his brand new $500.00 snow board and it was stolen. Brandywine does not care, they make it very clear they are not responsible for your items, but you are required to leave your skis, snowboard outside and not take in the building for thieves to come along and take. My daughters boyfriend was told it happens all the time that there are at least 10 boards/skis a night on average stolen and they are not responsible and that if the thief is on video it would probably be of no use because you wouldn't be able to see the persons face anyway!! I wonder why so many people get there items stolen from here? I can tell you why the thieves have figured out that they can get away with it!!!!!!!!! Brandywine it doesn't take a genius to figure that out! You have thieves going around taking your customers belongings and you do nothing about it! It really makes me wonder if maybe you have your hand it the pot for the stolen items for profit? I spend the extra money now every year for my kids to have to rent their skis because I refuse to let them take their own for the fear of them being taken! My kids love to ski, I just HATE where they have to ski at to be apart of ski club!! Brandywine was asked to have a check in and check out department for their customers boards and skis so when their customers went in and out of the building no one could take your items but you and Brandywine said no!! They where not interested in keeping their customers items safe from the thieves that go around stealing their customers belongings everyday!!

Great family fun. The place was nice and clean and the hills were well groomed. My young son loved his first ski trip. Food is very expensive but that is to be expected. They did great fitting my 5 yr old with appropriate skis and Boots and happily let us try a few on to get the right size.

This is the worst managed resort.

This is the worst managed resort.
1. My daughter has a spine injury and a doctor s note. We bought season passes. Before the season began we asked if we could transfer it to someone else or use next year and they said -sorry, there is nothing we can do.
2. The slopes are dangerous.
A. They are too crowded
B. They allow people to ski out of control who do not know how to ski on any slope they want. When those people plow people over because they go straight down without any knowledge of how to turn, they do nothing to ask them to either learn how to ski or go to a beginner run.
C. They have no clue how to make appropriate jumps. They let the snow blowers make a huge mound that turns into a cliff instead of a jump.
3. They don t make snow often enough.

I can t stress enough how mismanaged this place is. Horrible customer service, and the staff at Polar express is extremely rude. The slopes don t even run in warm weather and they all know it, but they will gladly take your money with a smile.
When you ask for your refund, they simply point to a sign that says no refunds. I know because my family and I went 1/4 the way down and had to walk the rest of the way. After only one trip like this we asked for a full refund. They rudely refused and said they have been telling everyone all night that the slopes are slow. LIES LIES LIES!!!! Even several other Facebook reviews are saying the same thing.
You d think someone from management would be reading all these reviews and try to change their process. Nope!!! Those college aged kids that run that place don t have a clue how to make customers happy.
No problem... I ve taken my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I feel many other patrons should do the same thing.

Love that this place is so close to home. But not very big. Maybe I've been spoiled by going to holiday valley so much being it's only about 3 hours away and lift tickets don't cost a lot more. But some get me wrong. It's always fun here. Just hope there isn't a ton of people otherwise lift lines can be crazy. Takes longer to get on and up the lift than it does to go down the hill... And if you snowboard... The halfpipe and park is at Brandywine not Boston mills. Polar blast tubing is also at Brandywine (a couple miles up the road)

Last time I went to brandywine the exit ramp on the top of a hill had jagged metal sticking out of a lifts ramp that scarred my board. I couldn't do anything about riding right over it. I haven't been back.

I love snowboarding there. The service is great and the instructors are very nice and informitive. I would no doubt recommend this resort to anyone. The slopes are always well groomed. The slopes are great, there are some for beginners and for advanced skiers and snowboarders. I always buy a season pass because my experience is always amazing.

Course was all ice and fake snow. They should have closed it down if the conditions were going to be that bad. Fell and got injured. Would never have happened that way if there was powder. Never going back here again.
