Over a great resort for Ohio. Great terrain and a great time. May not be a big resort but it's Ohio and is definitely what to expect for a Ohio resort. But with that being said this resort has a great school program and great ski and snowboarding school. It has a lot of awesome events and is great time with friends and family. Overall a great resort and home for me.

My first time skiing since I've moved to the area. I came to the Boston mills side of the resort. It's alright, I suppose. Good for beginners. Snow was nice. Crowded AF with kids today. (Saturday).

I'm usually a solo skiier. If I come back, it will be a weekday.

There is no changing room except for the bathroom here. Put on your snow pants etc in the car or before you come.

The closest ski resort to me. Grew up here, making snow and working the lifts. Sadly, learned how to ski here with some liquid courage, but I love this place! Friday nights at Brandywine are packed with college kids, though. But still the best areas in NE Ohio. Come out and ski some snow made from the old Burning River. Y'all will have fun!

The perfect place for my first skiing experience! There were 4 people in our group, two of us were snowboarding and the other two were skiing. None of us had ever been skiing or snowboarding before and we all had such a great time. We went for the late nights so that it was a cheaper price. The staff was friendly and helped so much with picking out our equipment. They have a great range of hills for anyone from beginner to professional. I would highly recommend Boston Mills to anyone who was looking for a good skiing or snowboarding experience. You're sure to have a good time here! The also have food, drinks. We cant wait to go back!

Probably the best that north east Ohio has to offer. The cost isn't terrible but still costly. Some weekdays can be just as crowded as weekends depending on what lessons are currently going on

We were at Brandywine today during the power outage. We like the resort and skiing there, but the organization during the power outage was a disaster.
I had one of my kids sitting in the lift an me waiting at the entrance. It took them more than 30 minutes to get the back up engines fired up. The got the one running after someone came with a container of gas. That s not what I call emergency preparedness.
I asked the guy at the lift if I should wait here for my son or if there is something like an assembly point for a situation like this. He told me he doesn t know and he is trying to get in contact with management but, I quote: there are all panicking .
For me the whole thing looked like a complete chaos and it seems there was nothing like an emergency protocol for a situation like a power outage.
This is scary.

In May, Cuyahoga Seneca valley teams up with Thomas and Friends and they have one of the engines be thomas. U purchase tickets online for the date you would like to go. Great place! Everyone is always nice and children get a Thomas certificate for riding the train that the conductor gives to them. My son loves going every year

Attended annual Artfest again this year on July 1 weekend. Excellent juried show with good mix of invited local & out of state exhibiting artists of many different media. Decent venue with very reasonable admission fee. Free live jazz. Plenty of free parking.

Great place for anyone to ski. From beginner to professional, there are slopes for any skill level. Massive for Ohio. Inside of the ski lodge is quite nice. Nicely done. The food is always great and the staff are very nice as well. Well worth a visit!

Waiting on the line for someone for 15 minutes got hung up on 2 times. Then just to be told that tubing they had didn't open till Thursday. Maybe they should put on their website having to wait 20 minutes. Terrible service.

2nd best area in Cleveland to go skiing. The sister resort brandywine which is nearby is a larger place. Has longer runs. And can handle higher capacity. This place is nice for when you want a change of scenery from the other ski resorts. Pretty good skiing considering you are in Ohio.

Enjoyed the place and the bruises
Bit pricey for Ohio. 40 usd for a snow pass and 40 usd for snowboard and helmet rental. No other accessories rental like knee pads. Eyewear can't be rented which I understand but the cheapest was 30 usd.
Begginer slopes are still too steep for beginners and the learning slope barley has any inclination
Staff are helpful and give helpful tips

Would really like to see them upgrade the facilities. Bathrooms are disgusting, the only one of the faucets worked and one hand dryer. Management needs to ease up on people bringing in food as well. When you bring multiple kids to ski, it's quite expensive, then to tack on over-priced food and drinks, it will cost a small fortune to enjoy the day.

I grew up in Ohio with ski club trips to Brandwine. These resorts are the only resorts in Northern Ohio and I'd say they're decent for an area that doesn't have mountains or get a lot of snow. I learned to ski at these resorts and they fix the itch when you want to go. If I lived locally I'd get a season pass. They have short runs of varied terrain to include a terrain park. There is of course a lodge where you can grab some typical junk food (burgers, hot dogs, pizza, nachos, chicken sandwich, etc) or a beer or glass of wine. However, they are a bit of a let down though if you've been to ski resorts all around the world. Nobody would plan a trans Atlantic trip for a winter vacation at one of these resorts. That being said, it's a great place to learn and keep up your skills.

Really great small hill skiing. The lift lines are never too long and they do all they can to keep the trails open in these unpredictable Ohio winters. Their progression parks are well laid out too. If your into park skiing/ riding you can learn and practice on a good variety of features between these two locations. Their bars are also a good time.

Add a tag a day for Jake Brandywine is a really cool place to come party with your family and friends. They got beer in the car. We got snow on the slopes Jayco. Hashtag a day for Jay. The process to get a lift ticket and rentals was utterly confusing !!!!!! We got in line to what we thought was skii rental was actually the pick up place. After 1/2 he in line we were told to go back to the entrance and pay. Then we got back to ski pick up and we then learned the helmets were not included. Once again back to the beginning of the line. After almost 2,hrs of going back and forth we finally found some one to help us. Lucky it was the ski rental manager. She initially thought it was funny but then realized our frustration. Lots of kids having fun yet we are trying to figure this place out. Very very unorganized. A big disappointment to our family. 1-18-2019 visit.

Only okay as a place to *learn* to ski or board....

Only okay as a place to *learn* to ski or board. Current ownership has reduced staff at lifts, unless you are with your kids, other kids continuously cut in line. One word from an adult keeps them in line. BW used to have staff at lifts (espeicllay Shredder) managing traffic , now they have no one. In general, it s not about the skier s experience, it s about management s cost reduction. If your kids can ski/board, go to Snow Trails or NY, they invest in more modern snow making equipment and overall it s a better experience. It s actually a better value too .....this was written prior to Vail Resorts buying Peaks Resorts - jury is still out on the impact new management will have on BMBW.

Staff was great, prices ok. Main problem was my Mom does not ski, so she was sitting on a cafeteria style chair with no back, no padding for hours!!!! Had to leave early because her back was hurting! Is management living in the stone ages??? Buy some leather sofas, chairs with a back and padding! How can you have a ski lodge with no soft sofas????
I will never return here, lodge area is horrible and uncomfortable! Owner does not care about the comfort of any skier! To rest my feet I need a comfortable place to relax, not a bar stool!!!!!! Big Lots has a huge bonded leather sectional sofa for $699. This resort needs to buy a few!!!!! I am at a ski resort not a school cafeteria!!!

Good snowboard instructor AJ gave me all the basics to get comfortable using the board. Had a great time and could make it down the intermediate Hill. Can't wait to go back if not too crowded.

Both mountains are groomed pretty well and they are both fun to ski/snowboard. The prices at both locations are pretty much the same as other mountains in Ohio. (Can't speak for renting though)
Boston Mills has steeper runs that are better suited for more skilled skiers/snowboarders.
Brandywine has a better selection of runs, but they are more laid back.

It is hard to write a review when the areas are not open after a full week of nice snowmaking weather. What's up with that Peak Resorts? Also, why is the lodge at Boston Mills still undergoing heavy renovation in the middle of December? I would think that should be been completed in early November at the latest. It seems like all Peak Resorts cares about is getting the school group sessions in (probably most important revenue for them) and the individual skiers who buy passes and tickets are an afterthought. Back in the day when the resorts were privately owned they used to bust their butts to open early in the season, close late in the season and make as much snow as possible. Corporate greed and penny pinching from an over extended corporation is running these areas into the ground.
