I have used Solicitors in the past and never felt I had any real support or value for money, in fact, I felt it was always an unaffordable service that would leave me feeling,
' Are they really working on my behalf?'
Brachers was recommended to me and I can't recommend them enough. I received an excellent service from Kirsten Hoyle - she never overstepped the mark with her logical advice & support (dare I say, she never tried to be my therapist!)
Should I ever need any advice in the future, I will be calling Brachers!!

The most money grabbing person I ever met, does not help you at all, just exstending the case so that she can make more money. If you ask for assistance it is non exsisting, don't go near Branhers, Mei-Ling McNab. I've been with them for 2 months without any help, all I hear is, let's send a letter. What a pointless law firm, now I know how divorce lawyer make their money. If you hear the name Mei-Ling McNab, run away.

I had a very friendly and helpful obviously expert Conveyancing solicitor helping me with my sale.

Despite complaining practically on a monthly basis, Brachers endlessly go back on their promises. "We will text you or email you the information you need" and then no text or email is ever received. I call up, complain, they say the same thing, and I still receive no information from them.

Utterly disgusting. And then they send me threatening letters warning of legal action, but offer zero apologies when I explain their lack of professionalism and ability to uphold their end of the promise.

Brachers LLP were responsible for my property purchase. The service received was excellent from start to finish and they are extremely professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them.

Brachers were recommended to me and partner Stephen Smith, who is head of family division, took on my case. He was immediately friendly and reassuring. His approach was direct, honest and straight-forward, I was kept updated and informed of the costs that would be involved. He explained the process thoroughly, whilst remaining understanding, supportive and VERY patient.

Brachers helped me through the most difficult time in a caring and professional manner. I recommend them without hesitation.

Excellent service from start to finish by Stephen Smith and his colleagues. During meetings time was taken to explain the legal stages of my case and every opportunity given to ask questions. Meetings were documented afterwards to ensure full understanding. I was made to feel like a valued client and I found the whole process to be stress free. I have rated four stars because no - one is perfect. Brachers have supported my family and I through what must be one of the most complex legal journeys possible. Family division during my late brothers divorce / separation procedures , then business , linked with the sale of his large pharmaceutical business and his own very complex tax scheme , whilst at the same time dealing with my brothers child access issues through the courts. There was also no small matter of his will and the court of protection . These were very stressful times for me as his attorney because my brother had dementia. I had little or no experience in the many twists and turns over the six years and more battle was joined. So for diversity , knowledge , skill , communication , persistence I can rate Stephen Smith and his colleagues as top of the tree and first class. Yes we didn't win every battle , but I guess we won the war which is what matters. Can't fault Brachers! We were first time buyers and to be honest had no idea on the process of buying a house. We were recommended Tim Lancaster and he was brilliant. Not only professional and so fast in answering any queries we had, Tim made the process of buying a house so smooth and offered us great advice along the way. Can not recommend enough. Stay away from this firm, their family law department is awful.
This firm are not solicitors, they are vultures. They are time consuming, costly and ineffective at their job. Their main aim is to drain your bank account.

Brachers engrossed themselves in my niche case and became as much of an expert in my field of expertise as I was, perhaps even more so. I was immensely impressed from the beginning to the end. Communication was excellent and the result was fantastic. We won!

Horrible, ignorant dishonest people. If you find yourself involved with them, do everything you can to get away from them or you'll be lied to, harassed and treat with zero respect.

I don't even know where to start with this firm and the appalling behaviour of it's staff and Partners. From having the phone put down on both myself and my partner to being continuously lied to, specifically by Miss Nicky Alabaster; the experience I have had with this firm can only be described as horrendous. I have complained and unfortunately even in their response letter provided, one of the Partners of the firm continued to provide incorrect information and behave in an unprofessional manner therefore I am having to refer their conduct to the FCA and SRA. Please be aware that this firm are not fit for purpose and should be avoided at all costs.

Very abrupt manner when speaking on the phone and unprofessional.

NEVER NEVER NEVER! They will harass you to the extend that it is clearly unlawful. They are not solicitors they are vultures! They will constantly rack up the times, the expense etc. YET their Google reviews are 4 5 stars. If you give them a single star review they will find reviewers to increase their ratings. You will then see a "message from the Owner" sorry we cannot located you as the client but please call us ... etc. What a rubbish. You cannot locate me as a client because I am no longer with you!

Using Brachers as our solicitors for the purchase of our first home was the best decision we made. We were aided by the conveyancing executive Tim Lancaster, who took all the stress out of the process and went above and beyond for us. He was thorough, professional and efficient, and kept us updated regularly with the progress of the transaction. He ensured our purchase went ahead successfully when time constraints were introduced by sellers further up the chain, and worked tirelessly to ensure we still received an exceptional service. We will be sure to use Brachers again in the future, and would definitely recommend Tim to anyone buying or selling their home.

My Firm Omnicroft Ltd, a residential Property Management Company use Brachers for referrals on various property matters. They are always very prompt, very knowledgable, very professional. They are so unbelievably helpful, we would highly recommend them

I used to be an extremely fond client of Brachers but I would now advise everyone to keep far away! I have been completely ripped off, lied to and not kept up to date about costs. Further to this, despite settling up full costs with full receipt (I have paid over 3k and nothing has actually been done or achieved...). I am now being asked for further money after I stated that I did not wish to continue my business with Brachers.
Utterly disgusting... Will not be going back!

I had to deal with this company through no fault of my own. I asked them to email me but they used the post. I emailed and then got an out of office message saying that the person wasn't, no date given about his return, no-one else would read this email, and no other contact given. I then started calling: in a total of ten calls, pressing 1 five times and 2 fives times (the only options), I was cut off before being able to speak to anyone. Avoid at all costs!

The firm's partner and solicitor Alexander Wilson is a bully, harasser, he will bombard you with weekly letters to simply increase his cost! His letters will always end up with some kind of question or demand so that you can then respond to it to get another letter from him. He is a vulture and must be reported . They are the worst firm in Maidstone. KEEP AWAY!

I m not really sure where to start about my comments with Brachers but I can categorically state that this firm has put my faith back into Solicitors and totally respect the knowledge that they obtain.
Before I accidently found Brachers I was in a very dark and dismal litigating place. My trust with Solicitors was at a credibility below zero.
This firm instantly saw the mess I was in and totally changed my case around. Law can be very confusing but they patiently explained the process with no dithering or hidden agendas. They take you along with the instruction process given you the best options.
They conduct themselves professionally and impartial. I was impressed with the experience of the solicitors in relation to my case that they could tap into.
I make a reference to one particular Solicitor that works at Brachers Mark Gore . His conduct and professionalism is impeccable. He empowered me to make the right guided decision within my case. Only someone with vast knowledge of the law can achieve this. Superb communication skills which freed me up to state my deep concerns.
I feel that Mark Gore is a reflection of the working ethos of Brachers.
Not at any point was I made to feel uncomfortable or judged for events that had happened in my case. They respond promptly and exactly to the date and time that they say they shall.
Even to the receptionists which are so helpful and my pleasure to have spoken too.
I shall always recommend Brachers to anyone, not just seeking legal help but wanting top class professional help.
I would strongly challenge anyone to find another firm that could operate so professionally.

I have had to go through a tricky negotiation with a number of dimensions to the legal process which were difficult to work through. Stephen Smith and his team carefully explained each process along the way so I could make informed decisions. Very unusually, they also worked hard to ensure the legal bill was minimised and unnecessary costs were eliminated. Highly rate, this professional and helpful team.

An especially disorganised and sloppy firm that do not immediately inspire confidence in how they handle basic conveyancing procedures. Brachers only emailed a vitally important legal document to the firm that was acting for me on the day of my property sale s completion, with very little time to sign it and dispatch back despite the preceding four months they had to have it produced and sent on. The concomitant of this inaction contributed to an immensely traumatic completion day.

My recommendation is to avoid them, as their passive and non-committal approach is not what one should expect from any firm of solicitors.

Awful experience - wasted valuable time only to be told they cant help me, after the first consultation , explained the ins and out , no call back , no emails , until i had to chase this company myself , false promises and caused me more problems dealing with them. After i stated i wont use them anymore due to the lack of feedback, I was then told they're not capable of doing this type of work , and too busy , avoid these at all costs

Were with me all of the way. Out of my entire chain my solicitors were the ones chasing and ensuring deadlines were met. Would recommend highly.

The team was led by Jeremy Horton who undertook my case of depression against my employers. This ran over 10 years and Jeremy and his team was brilliant. They kept me up to date as what was happening, the preparation of all the legal paperwork that seemed to run into volumes. The barrister they employed was fantastic and even when it was necessary they went back to court and appealed. Working continuous for such a long period and never giving up, always having the end result in mind. I cannot see anyone could have asked for better.
