I have rated four stars because no - one is perfect. Brachers have supported my family and I through what must be one of the most complex legal journeys possible. Family division during my late brothers divorce / separation procedures , then business , linked with the sale of his large pharmaceutical business and his own very complex tax scheme , whilst at the same time dealing with my brothers child access issues through the courts. There was also no small matter of his will and the court of protection . These were very stressful times for me as his attorney because my brother had dementia. I had little or no experience in the many twists and turns over the six years and more battle was joined. So for diversity , knowledge , skill , communication , persistence I can rate Stephen Smith and his colleagues as top of the tree and first class. Yes we didn't win every battle , but I guess we won the war which is what matters.
