Good hotel.. stayed here for 3nights.. rooms were comfy.. restaurants around the hotel.. good place to get some rest!
I didn't have a good experience here. Upon arriving at night I come to find the nearest outside hallway door jammed so I had to walk around. Then during the morning with my do not disturb sign on the door, I get 3 separate knocks within an hour seeing if I have left! It was only 9am and I was waiting for room service breakfast. I complained to IHG and asked to be contacted, and still no reach out. I guess they don't care about my customer experience or maybe yours??
Oh hello. I stayed here for two days previous to my trip into Yellowstone. I very much enjoyed the staff. I also enjoyed my room... Although out had a tiny hole in the bathroom wall. Paul the night auditor was nice and helpful
Road construction is finally done, which makes the access really easy to get to and from. Very ckean
Friendly staff. Quiet rooms. Haven't checked out the restaurant yet, but so far so good.
Always a good experience here. No complaints at all.
A beautiful, well-kept town in the USA, I could live here :)
Can't complain! One night stay booked very last minute. Clean room and great location into the main Street via taxi.
Kind staff. Good food. Good location. Nice amenities
This place is gross. It s about 20 years past due for a remodel. Outside is dilapidated, unkempt, and nasty. Inside is dark and gross. Black mold of several different species growing above the shower... see pictures
Nice hotel, great lobby with fireplace, good coffee. Internet is quite slow, however (4mbs up, 500 lbs up)
I was there for an event, and I didn't stay in a room. The time I did spend however, was great.
Stayed overnight to catch early flight. Shuttle to airport was ontime and efficent.
Staff are friendly and very helpful. Rewards program members amenities are good. Clean rooms. Restuarant and bar
Meeting room was nice and the catered food was great. Room was nice except I could hear a phone conversation clear through the vent in the bathroom of a room one level up.
Clean, comfy and priced right with a bar and restaurant included
Worst Holiday Inn I've ever seen. We went to a different hotel and even didn't stay the night after walking in. Housekeepers not wearing masks walking around. Got our keys, both didnt work right off the bat and had to go get new ones. Constant clicking noise in the bathroom. Really run down. Didn't feel safe or clean so we left.
Nice, high-end hotel. Certainly more expensive than other hotels, but room is very clean and posh. No breakfast included, but the restaurant in the hotel was good. It is quiet and quite the luxury feel.
Scrape this place and rebuild. Old, dark, shabby looking facility. Grounds have not been kept up; looks trashy. Mattress has seen better days and the tub had the typical old-hotel slow drain. Just an unexpectedly poor showing from one of my favorite brands.
My wife and I, both disabled. just had the worst hotel experience we've ever had. https://youtu.be/TuG7ZTTOMZ0, https://youtu.be/x9F7cl-Hvnk. Here are the videos I sent to corporate. Can't tell a whole lot from them however. There are also pics attached to this as well. From the beginning of our stay at this franchise things were not good. In fact we had to play a sound clip from My phone, Just to get the a room. We had requested a handicapped room. As both my wife and I are. Within two weeks things started going bad real quick. In accurate things being said, Accusations being made that were totally opposite of any semblance of truth. I also have recording on my phone, of some of the conversations with the Manager. A dictatorial type run more by the Cleaning staff supervisor than himself. I'm nearing 59 and have stayed at many Holiday Inns Nationwide. I will honestly say that this particular stay. Was the bonafide worst hotel experience in our lives. Not only do I NOT recommend this hotel. I would suggest, that if you have to stay awhile. Choose another hotel. I have a recording of the manager stating that he would not forcibly evict us from the hotel. At that moment I was waiting for the hammer. Sure as all get out, just 10 later when I had scheduled a cleaning. We received a call on the room phone from the manager. He told my wife, that we had until the eighteenth to leave. i had expected this and already booked another room elsewhere. The point being is that the Holiday inn Bozeman is a detention center. If you do not do precisely as told, when told, your the problem and you will be TOLD to leave. DO NOT BOOK HERE !! look at the video links. They're on youtube !
Awesome front desk staff, super friendly and helpful. Couple things kept this from high rating. Our room ac/heating rumbled and rattled, rendering it useless. The coffee maker in the room was horrendous, it had water in it already when I opened it so it was full of something growing and slime. Also when we tried to take a shower in the morning there was no hot water, so no shower was taken. On the plus side the bed is super comfortable, pillows are great, and checkout time is noon. Room was probably an outlier, front desk staff was apologetic. Also, no free breakfast of any sort, like any other hotel does.
Clean, comfortable, affordable. 24 hour free shuttle to airport, downtown, etc is awesome as it is not within walking distance to down town. The room I booked was cheaper because it's in the back and is honestly quite a distance (.25 mile?) So if you're handicapped it might not be the best to go for the cheap room but otherwise it's really nice. $149/night peak season two queen beds with AC and a full bath.
This was seriously subpar for the Holiday Inn brand. It looks like the last upkeep or remodel happened in the late 90s. Imagine walking in through a beautiful lobby and finding Super 8 rooms in side. That's what we experienced and I have to say the price does not match the low value we found.
Heater/AC was loud. The Inn was alright, but being next to the Best Western Plus is the biggest highlight. We spent most of our time at The Club Tavern and also ate most of our meals there.
We came here after a long day on the road, specifically because it's right off the freeway and they have a restaurant on the property. I feel like the the people leaving the reviews about it being old and dirty are being a little dramatic. The room is clean and comfortable and has everything we needed; comfortable bed, microwave, mini refrigerator and a super comfortable chair. The room service was quick and it was delish. Lon at the front desk was an absolute delight and very helpful! We would definitely stay here again.
The temperature control is old, but worked, and room as updated. No fridge or microwave in ours, but I heard some had them.
Great hotel excellent stay everything was top notch . Clean and extremely comfortable
We truly enjoyed our stay! We will stay again on our next trip!
In my opinion, I just can not recommend this hotel. The entire staff was completely indifferent, this included the front desk, housekeeping and the restaurant. The staff in the lounge was just downright rude. Then there is the overall condition of the facility. The hotel isn't old and run down but it is getting close and in need of carpet, painting and lighting upgrades. The stairwell near the pool needs to be pressure washed, sterilized and painted to remove mildew. Finally, the cleanliness of the room less than adequate. We not only found pubic hair in the bathtub the towel rack had two stained and one soiled towel.
The cheap and equipped hotel has only two floors, and the overall feeling is very good. The bed is also very comfortable, and the counter can be reserved for the transfer. Whether it is to pick up the airport or book a car to the airport, it is very convenient.
It's an older building, but the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable.
This hotel is definitely the epitome of the Montana experience! Great food, awesome bartender, super helpful front desk staff, clean and comfy rooms. My kids loved the large pool and we had a great vacation exploring all that is Bozeman!
Really outdated. There are no rooms set aside for people without pets so if you have allergies, skip this place.
Visited family staying there the rooms were nice and had a huge pool.
It didn't have an elevator to our 2nd floor room. Other than that,no complaints. The restaurant in the bar had an excellent pasta .
Run down Inn. Zero amenities that tend to be standard at other hotels.
No elevators, way way overpriced, very noisy. Apparently WD40 doesn't exist in Bozeman. Hallways are dank and carpet dirty even in the rooms where it was itchy. I apparently interrupted a young man's afternoon when I checked in as he was cold business-like. This was a $50 motel service for an allegedly 3 star hotel at $150 a night. It's just profiteering from tourists that go to Yellowstone.
Worst hotel in the state of Montana. After making a reservation last week for the home opening Cat game, which was a night game. I arrived at the hotel at 11p.m to stand around for 15 minutes when the desk clerk lady,(who is not qualified to pass out shopping carts at Wal-Mart) tells me they have given my room away. Her explanation was it was not guaranteed with a cc card. Well it in fact was! I had a hold charge on my card, precisely the reason you give a credit card when making a hotel reservation anywhere on the globe! Needless to say by this time and with the game in town everything was booked, so I spent the night in the car. Thanks for that Holiday Inn! There are many nice places to stay in Bozeman. Bypass this one at all costs
Traveled an extra 300 miles to stay where our Yorkie was welcome. Thank you.
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD. They charged my card without my consent and lied about a refund. The general manager was rude and abrupt to the point that led us both to a yelling match. NEVER EVER STAY HERE!
This is an extremely made over Hotel, it has an Institutional feeling with very minimal windows and long hallways. There's no elevators, and some of the door handles to get to the second floor are removed so makes entry to the second floor very difficult. I would highly suggest looking at the two hotels next to it unless you have no other options. And they had no coffee available in the morning which is usually a given, but not this Holiday Inn. I did speak with a manager about they're building and they said they are due for an upgrade.
Warm welcoming atmosphere when you walk in. Staff was helpful when asked questions & public areas where well maintained.
Just stayed one night on the way through, but it's great to have a dog-friendly hotel with a big courtyard for the pup to burn off some steam.
For anyone staying here: There is NO FREE BREAKFAST, unless you're a kid...also their wi-fi is the worst I've ever experienced from a hotel. It kept going in and out. However, rooms were clean, staff friendly, it was pet friendly, and the pool area was very nice.
The rooms are clean, the sheets are soft, and apparently if you stay with them way too often they put you where you always request to be pretty quickly. Honestly the place is just a nice one night escape from living in the middle of Yellowstone
The hotel is definitely showing it's age. I think it was built in the early 70's and the rooms have not been really updated.
The rooms were great. We were attending a memorial for my grandparents who passed away. The appetizer plates were great and quite plentiful for the price. Fresh fruit ad veggies that were very tasty, especially for so early in the season. The little restaurant was great, especially for a large group with a reservation. The pool was one of the largest and deepest hotel pools I've ever seen and it was a nice temp.
Staff friendy plus. Restaurant sucks. Rooms old old. Even the TV.
Friendly staff, but facility is pretty old and ran down.
The room and everyone is great. It's a nice hotel. We did however think breakfast was included and found out too late that is not, so be careful of you book through a third party like Priceline. Other than that, I would recommend a stay here.
The staff, and relaxed , clean atmosphere and rooms.very descent
This hotel is dated but nice. Clean and priced accordingly. No elevator, unfortunately.
Very friendly staff, from the lady that picked up at the airport to the man who dropped me off at the airport.
Would recommend this as a great place to stay in Bozeman.
Great location frendly staff clean comfortable room
Very nice clean Hotel has a restaurant bar and swimming pool with a jacuzzi an open and it's all open
Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice pool and really good breakfast!
I attended a conference for a local organization and it was lovely. Well organized, great staff for putting out and cleaning up food and dishes.
Nice enough, maintenance was taking place next door during the convention speaker. Hotel staff kept being distracting while refilling drinks and snacks. But overall they were just doing their job.
Hands down some of the most helpful and friendly hotel staff I've come across. From the front desk to the restaurant to housecleaning and maintenance... really great people working here.
Very good for dogs and kids. Huge inclosed dog area. Pool is large enough that the kids aren't running into each other or being splashed by others. Bar n restaurant close pretty early tho.
Just stayed at the Holiday Inn - Bozeman and was not impressed with the experience. First off, this isn t the hotel s fault but the construction in front of the building made it extremely confusing to access the parking lot. Next, people were smoking everywhere outside the building even at 11pm. Next, the room we stayed in was dirty. The table between the two queen beds had garbage under it and was extremely visible. There was also a broken light bulb in the lamp on the desk and posed a real safety issue. Also, I m not sure if it s the owners or whoever, but I wasn t impressed with the camper and boat in the back of the parking lot, made it look like a storage facility.
Stayed here for work this week and was not impressed. My experience pretty much mirrored the previous reviews with the walls being super thin, needing a 2000s update, dirty carpet, small bathrooms, and poor quality services. There is just a big need for the hotel to be updated especially compared to the area and the hotels that are around it. It is a big hotel, so it offers a lot of rooms, which is nice. But, because it is so big it is just halls and halls of corridors which echo so badly that you can hear your neighbors laughing three doors down. I literally woke up several times in the past two nights to people laughing, crying, and running down the hallway. And this is not because I am a light sleeper as my coworkers have experienced the same, it is because of the hotel make up.
One shinning light in all this darkness is the kindness of the staff. I was able to get checked in easily and they offer a variety be it slow breakfast service. Definitely if you are in a hurry this is NOT the place to get your breakfast! Give them 30 minutes or more for your food.
I definitely would not pick this Holiday Inn to stay at when I return to Bozeman. There are so many better places! Look elsewhere!
Good location and nice rooms. Only drawback is the internet speed. Less than optimum for a large conference.
No elevator and house keeping doesn't do very good job actually coming to your room to clean it but front desk staff was amazing. Clean and decent hotel with a beautiful lobby.
The people that work there we're not very attentive. The Wi-Fi bounced in and out. They missed cleaning the room one day and almost missed cleaning it the second day if I hadn't said something. Since they didn't clean the rooms there was no coffee and when I went to the lobby there was no coffee down there either. I stopped by the fireplace for an hour went up to get coffee thinking it was made and it was just sitting there burning the pot. I even asked the guy if he'd like me to turn the pot off since he wasn't going to make any anyway and he says oh yeah. Then when we sat in the hot tub there was very few towels down there to dry off with and there's no bathroom in that area. And here's the kicker every time we left the room we get back in the afternoon and our key was no longer good so we had to keep going to the front desk telling them we were stay overs and it still didn't work the next day. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because the refrigerator kept my things cold. You would think for $113 a night you get top-rate service. I will never go there again I do not recommend this place
As far as holiday inn goes, this is a subpar one. Outdated rooms and awkwardly located rooms. Staff was great though. It's at a nice location butt the building is just outdated.
Food was excellent the service was fast and very receptive. The bartenders were very friendly And personable.
I stayed here on the way back from Glacier Park. All you hear all night is slamming doors with these paper thin walls. There are plenty of hotels on this block. There is a best western next door if you like piece and quiet after midnight.
My family made a reservation to stay at this location for a friend's wedding. We booked about three weeks in advanced and received a discount based on the booking, but unfortunately our three year old came down with hand-foot-and-mouth disease five days before the event. The disease is highly contagious and for the safety of the hotel and wedding guests, we tried to cancel our reservation a full five days before our check in date. The front desk told us that there is a no-refund policy on our type of advanced booking. When I told them it was a medical emergency and explained the situation, they stated they sometimes make exceptions for reasons such as these and transferred me to a manager to leave a message. I left a message on the Sunday prior to our Thursday reservation. Nobody got back to me. When I called to follow up on the Thursday of the reservation, the front desk person, Josh, told me that he had a note in the system to not refund us and he was unnecessarily rude about it. When I asked to speak to a manager directly, he told me that none were available. He then transferred me to Central Booking where the agent had absolutely no authority to do anything about our reservation. I called corporate customer service to explain the situation and the agent was very helpful. She called the Bozeman location directly and spoke with the manager. She came back and told us that a manager would call us directly. It took her about a half an hour but the manager, Kalea, called us back and I explained the situation, including that our one year old now has the illness and is covered in the tell tale blisters. Kalea told us that their policy is very strict and that they would not refund us under any circumstances. I'm including a picture of my older son's hands for emphasis about how serious it is that we do not bring our highly contagious children to their hotel. DO NOT BOOK HERE if, for any reason, you might have to cancel because they do not care about you, your family, or the safety of the other guests.
Incidentally, after posting this review on Yelp, I saw that the most recent review before ours, written by Amy K, stated that the same manager was able to take care of their reservation cancellation because they had a family emergency. I'm not sure why they made an exception for a different family's emergency and not ours. Discrimination perhaps?
Update: corporate customer service was amazing while trying to resolve the issue and ended up refunding us the full amount. The agent also informed me that the staff at Bozeman were very rude to her for calling to try to resolve the issue.
