Fave buffet great staff especially Arlene! She's amazing waiting on people at port of call buffet!!!!
Had to stay because The Orleans was not available. Would not be my first choice, very old slots and food variety very limited. Needs an upgrade Real Soon.
Way too expensive for a bowling alley of that age, not enough staff on hand for a Friday night. Not nearly enough parking spots.
The multi level ping pong you have to play when you come in from the parking garage end of the casino. We had to go down two floors on the elevator, then up two on an escalator, then back down another escalator.
Been staying at Gold Coast for many years when we come out to the NFR. Enjoy staying here. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet!
Just a fine casino with nice ballrooms. No particular strong theme.
Exceptional for me. I did not know the combi hotel and casino. You have to like it. But the rooms were great!
Nice and clean. But the event was a little unorganized
Spacious and the place to go if you like baccarat. I don't know about how the rooms are. But the staff seen pretty cool.
We just went to go bowling for 2 dollars. It was really fun and we had a great time for a low price
These older casino's are the best. Better drink and food prices, slots that seem to pay out more and as always a friendly staff. Off the strip, but still worth a visit (I'm from the Midwest).
Not a bad casino, i prefer orleans over it though because gold coast seems a little basic compared to orleans.
It was resourceful. But maybe more air refresher would be great.
This was one of our favourite casinos in Vegas, it has a very relaxed atmosphere and the drinks keep flowing. I think because they're not on the main strip they really try harder to keep your custom. It worked for us.
This is a nice quiet casino, off the Vegas strip. I bowled at the Orleans for a tournament and jumped on a free shuttle that they have that goes between the Linq, the Orleans, and Gold Coast. They have a few dining options the only smaller one was a subway, they also have a coffee shop as well. I did not stay at this location but would give it a try on a random trip.
With the pandemic this casino needs to clean the floor and the machines better. Bottles and cups on top and besides the machines. Paper and straws on the floor. They have few disinfectant stations and wipes around the casino. Totally unsanitary.
We walked over to the Gold Coast Casino which is next door to the Rio. An older casino but very nice.
We stayed here for a bowling tournament and the bowling alley has like 70 lanes. Its pretty cool actually. So here's the real deal... valet parking is free and the bell hop is fast to and from the rooms. TGIFridays inside the hotel is really nice and they have a happy hour at night from 6 to close with $6 appetizers. The slot game selection is pretty good, I even saw some older games that i used to play long ago and it was cool to play them again. There is a free shuttle to the strip with one stop at the orleans casino but in all the ride is maybe 10 min... and free, so worth it. The room I stayed in had a double bed and was plenty of room for 3 people. The house keepers do knock early so make sure you put your "do not disturb" sign up if you plan to sleep after 9am lol. The air conditioning was very cold but adjustable so it was nice. The shampoo, conditioner and lotions they provided smelled really nice. The towels and bedding was also quite pleasant. They do provide a coffee pot including coffee and sugar and powdered milk. Also have a hair dryer in the room. I can say that the staff was nice, the drinks were quick and the casino wasn't overly crowded. All in all it's a great hotel but I had to rate it only 4 stars because the elevators are a little noisy and seem outdated also, one of the elevators doesn't tell you which floor you're on because the LED isn't working.
Bring a cup if you plan to bring your beer down to the casino, they will stop you otherwise but told us we could get a cup from the bar and pour it in however, the cups were tiny...
The buffet is great. It has a lot of choices and they're all very good. Get a players card and receive a discount. Also they give you a coupon book when you are checking in, use the coupon when signing up for the players card and get a $5 food voucher once you obtain 5 points (which $1= 1 point)
Happy vacationing! And good luck!
Really nice place! Fully contained to offer everything needed for a great stay! Lots to do for the hotel guests.
A great place for a game of Bingo, staff are very helpful and friendly. Free drinks in the bingo hall, what's not to love.
We had a wonderful stay! Older hotel and casino, but clean with updated rooms.
Great room, great value, about 3 miles from the strip. I would definitely stay again.
Some times internet WiFi is slow but overall it is a good place to stay.
For locals this is the place to be. Great restaurants, bowling center is clean, fun, and the staff is the best I've encountered. Fun for family, friends, and adults! A must if you're looking for a family atmosphere or adults only. The employees are curteous and fun.
Clean and affordable with a nice atmosphere an plenty of parking
Ping pang pong had good dim sum but they were very inconsistent with their food carts. We waited 40 minutes to see the food cart again. Kept getting bothered by the bread cart at least 10 times after we never took anything.
Sports bar was dead, bartender completely ignored us in a 30 min stay barely received one lonely drink sad...very sad
Good service and there are many things like bowling games for children and other things
Convenient hotel, free parking is the best. Room smelled like smoke when I checked in though.
Ate at subway, very friendly staff. Machines are like any other casino, staff friendly, looks clean and neat on casino floor.
The hotel room was great, but the shower had no pressure.
Resort fees really!? I had a room where the blinking lights still could be seen with tje curtians closed
I bowl on Thursdays at the Gold Coast. Some alcohol specials and the bowling lanes aren't too bad.
Good hotel. 10 minutes from the strip with shuttle bus
TGI was understaffed and had terrible service. Food was subpar for the norm.
Yes I went there to visit Fridays Restuarant. I love their food and the environment is friendly.
Had lunch at Noodle Express. Good beef noodle soup.
If you want cheaper games like $5 craps and roulette and you don't mind a tired downmarket venue then this is for you.
I have been staying here every year for the past 25+ years on yearly trips. This is not your high end strip hotel. I tend to think of it as being more down to earth or homey. Geared more toward locals, I do much better gambling here than the big resorts. The rooms are clean, housekeeping was good.we had a problem with our TV remote and it was.taken.care of ASAP. Over the years I have had nothing but good experiences with any of the employees I have encountered. If you don't want the craziness of the strip, very reasonable, prices for your stay and the cost of restaurants on site, stay at The Gold Coast (PS sister property The Orleans is very nice I stayed there once)
Needs remodeling little outdated rooms or okay need upgrading again I guess showers don't put out high pressure TGI Friday's service is not good very slow on ordering order a play had some rotten vegetables on it was not very happy
The buffet at the Gold Coast is both affordable and quite delicious. They have a very good selection for the value.
Everything was good, the room were clean. Everyone was good and very helpful.
Old school casino and hotel. The on-site bowling alley gets 5 stars
Good place to go eat and play. The buffet and Ping Pong Pang are great.
Good for dining. Entertainment and lots of different machines
Get your Rudy card , you get promotions and free things! Every time you cash your check! Awesome
Old hotel, a little out of the strip but the rooms are very clean, there is a shuttle to the strip from 9:30 to 00:30, the buffet is disgusting!
Rooms are ok but the moment you enter, they have strong pungent smell all around. Extremely smelly place. I stayed on 3rd and then 7th floor all same.
Suitable. If you are looking for glam and excitement, look somewhere else. If you are looking for a decent room at a reasonable price this could be your spot.
Nice hotel not far from the strip, great room only the entire casino is located under the hotel, which is not very fresh
Went here to eat at Ping Pong Pang resto and it was bomb chinese food!
