After both reading bad reviews, and being told by a handful of people about this place in Minworth, I still went there. What a pratt I am.

I could write a huge war & peace complaint here about the store manager, but you know what, I would rather just not give them my money ever again.

Unless your very tech savvy, a gamer or a computer geek, you wont be accepted here, and heaven forbid you have a fault with an item

Take your money elsewhere and really listen to these 1 star reviews, you will kick yourself otherwise like me.

Be warned!!!! I wish I could give less than 1 star.

I'm really pleased with this purchase from box.co....

I'm really pleased with this purchase from box.co.uk - I opted for a 'used' product which was rated Grade A - I gather it has a minor blemish on the bezel however I am yet to spot it. Conor and the team were very helpful prior to my purchase and tried to get photographs of the monitor for me to check. This was arranged via the online chat on their website. So all in all a good product at a great price. I can easily recommend and will no doubt be a returning customer. Cheers!

Ordered a TV and had to wait for delivery over a week. Firstly it was taken to the wrong warehouse. Then after 1 week I finally got a delivery date. They attempted the delivery and left. Didn t leave it with concierge like any other parcel. Their own team delivered second part of the order to concierge. Not this time. So I have to wait another 4 days for the next delivery. Customer service was not helpful on this matter, spoke like they didn t care one bit. So frustrating. Makes me wonder in what condition will I finally get my TV after being in transit for so long.

Item was ordered, paid for next day delivery. Got an email saying the item had been dispatched. No tracking number provided. Waited 2 days, nothing arrived. Went on live chat and they informed me an hour later that it wouldn't be dispatched until two weeks later. They did at least issue the refund quickly.

Awful after sales service from box.co.uk, if your product suffers from any fault then I'm sorry to say you're on your own. I've had to repost my review a couple of times due to them being taken down so here's hoping this one will stay long enough to help someone make an informed decision before buying. I purchased a gaming laptop around 1.5 years ago, it was faulty and had to keep being sent back to Asus for repair (under warranty) who eventually told me that it could no longer be repaired and to get a replacement from Box.co.uk which I did. It was a struggle. Finally with a credit note I got another which arrived DOA. Sent it back. Then another which did turn on but after an hour turned off permanently Sent that back. By now as A student going into first year university for the first time + no laptop I had little faith that they would actually send me a working machine so I requested a refund as I needed a working laptop immediately. They refused constantly eventually leaving me no choice but to send letters and visit the ombudsman. I was told I had a right to a refund as the machines were DOA and after telling box.co.uk about this they stopped corresponding with me.
They never once bothered replying to my letters and emails had stopped. Again as a student desperate for a laptop for my work I let it go and emailed I'd accept a credit note and they responded immediately telling me that I could only spend the credit notes on a laptop which again seemed unfair and according to the ombudsmen was against my rights as a consumer
I purchased a laptop which thankfully worked but never again will I purchase from here again

Excellent online retailer. Great range of products with best prices. Delivery was fast with notifications throughout. Will sure to buy again from them as well as telling my friends. Absolutely fantastic.

Very bad service.. try to buy from online shop... no answer .. try to call no answer.. no shipping options to Europe,, ask for invoice to pay nothing... after 2 days trying to order something and the special offer was canceled... fake discounts.. never again.. I buy my items from mediamarkt... excellent service

I really really wanted to be able to write a good review, I have bought from here in the past and not had any issues but this time it was a nightmare.

Purchased a custom built gaming PC from them on Jan 25th with a 7 working day build time, emailed on Jan 26th and was told it would be ready Feb 10th (13 working days not the 7 bought).

I then received an email on Feb 5th saying unfortunately there was an issue with the case I had asked for and would I choose another? This was not a problem and I was assured this would be number one priority for the build team.

I was finally told it was ready and it was dispatched on Friday 12th, 15 working days later over double the original time I was told when I bought it.

Support your local tech shop. Delivery is free when you spend a minimum amount too.

Really good computer shop, the team is always happy to advise and suggest improvements. I recommend going in if your planning on buying anything. Might even save some money or time.

Fast delivery of an item I struggled to find anywhere else, and at a reasonable price. Minor issue with DPD delivering to the wrong address, but I can t fault Box for this as they had put the correct address on the label.

If you re debating whether or not to purchase a pc from this retailer, I would highly recommend that you do. I ve had nothing but a great experience with them. Ordered a custom made pc by picking out all the components, then they assembled it and within 2 weeks (bang on time) I had my pc. Fully working and ready to go out of the box. I initially had ordered a part that I didn t want, but I easily got it swapped out with a quick phone call. Got sent a confirmation email for my order, then waiting a week and a half later they sent an update saying that it is being assembled and will be shipped on a specific date. They know what they re doing and are good at what they do. Don t hesitate on ordering. Will be going to them for upgrades in the future :)

Ordered items from them twice and on both occasions the item was cancelled as 'out of stock' with pretty much an identical message. Moral of the story - don't rely on the website being accurate. Would I buy from them again ? NO !

Don't buy anything from BOX because they don't car...

Don't buy anything from BOX because they don't care about the customer once they're faced with some problems.
We bought a gaming PC from BOX at the end of August. It stopped working after nearly 4 months. I contacted the repair team and the PC was taken from us on 2 of January. It has been nearly 2 months and the PC is still "somewhere". The repair company are blaming BOX for sending faulty parts and after they requested new one they are still waiting. BOX are blaming the repair company because they did send the request for a new parts. I have asked for a refund but BOX advised they are not able to give a refund and they can only repair it. So now I don't have the PC and I don't have the refund.
People be aware - try other shops instead.

Purchased a monitor from the site, was assured would be next day delivery, I even checked with them on the live chat service.
Nothing arrived, after 90 mins of trying to get through / being cut off on the phone found it hadn't even been dispatched and actual delivery was over 1 week so had to request a refund
AVOID and spend your money elsewhere

I was extremely sceptical with placing the order as a first time buyer!

Can t wait to place my second order for an All-in-One desktop next month after my business invoices are made. Really looking forward to another cheap deal compared to everyone else. Not sure why everyone is moaning about Box telling everyone to refer to the manufacturing company for issues? It s clearly mentioned in the terms in conditions that they do not take responsibility! Being ignorant and not reading into what your buying is simply your fault!

The CCTV camera arrived as stated and has now been installed and works well. Just a matter of getting used to the software. Neither the sounds from the speaker or the siren are loud enough to be heard from any distance from the camera.
The only problem was with the BOX in which it came. It was damaged in several places and had been sellotaped along those edges whether by Box .co.uk or more likely by Hermes, however the product box inside was undamaged.

Just advice for any customers if they are busy on Saturday they don't answer the phone they are still open even though the answerphone says they are closed. Very helpful got my order straight away in and out

The worst company ever. I got nothing but lies. they took my money, then lied multiple times about delivering it. I never got my order. Then they said they lost it and can't get another one so they promised to issue a refund. But hey how, it's been 10 days since my order and now they have my money and the product and I can't do anything but wait for a refund. The support team is just a bunch of jokers. Do not order from these, it's isn't worth it at all! I'm getting a feeling some of their 5star reviews are fake as the experience I had was terrible!!

Had a fault with my motherboard within the first week, so i filled out the RMA online form and sent the motherboard to them. It's been well over 2 weeks and it still needs to be checked for fault and i have tried to contact them via email and no reply. Don't know if i will be purchasing anything from this company in the future. thank you.

I emailed them before hand so that I didn't have a wasted journey to see if they had a certain motherboard in stock and even took a screenshot of their website showing they had them in stock but I wanted to double check. 20 mile journey and then had to wait as only one staff member serving to be told it wasn't in stock. Very annoyed and a complete waste of time.

Extremely poor. We ordered a product that was in stock and then before they could dispatch it was out of stock. We have had to wait over 2 weeks for our product and it has still not been received despite being in stock in their website a week ago.
Furthermore, they claim to have dispatched the product yet the courier claims to have not received from the sender and once again this was 4 days ago they said it was dispatched.
WILL NOT BE USING AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANY PURCHASE

Very happy with my buying experience at Box. I purchased a PC case and then a few weeks later managed to get a X570 motherboard (Almost impossible to get anywhere due to global events and selling out!).

Order placed, received confirmation of order followed by dispatch notice not long after. Cost of my items was quite high so for me free delivery was still next day.

I've had a good experience. At the moment its a nightmare to get components due to the supply chain and manufacturing issues affecting China but when item is in stock it was sent out as paid for.

Well done Box!

The only thing to note is the packages did not come protected with any extras. The PC case was literally the PC case box with delivery label on it. The motherboard was wrapped in a plastic type packaging with security tape but there was no padding etc for boxes. Perhaps that is the one thing they could improve. Other than that all good!

Placed a order on Monday was told 100% I will come on Thursday went in the shop at 5pm got told it's not there. It may be in the back the staff said and then refusedto go and look. It's not our area we will let you know if it's here tomorrow just wait for a text.

I asked to speak to a manager and was told no one can do anything so no need

The guys in the showroom will do their level best to help, and it's a shame they can't always price match with other bricks and mortar retail stores. I struggled to get what I wanted, so do phone them before making the journey down. Shout out to Carl and Blayne for all their help.

I was told the product was in stock for delivery. I cancelled a pending order elsewhere to buy it here. When I found out, it was not in stock and not expected for more than a month ahead. Really annoyed with the all the faff caused and inconvenience.

Purchased a custom laptop from this company it was delivered within the time they stated after three days the video card failed fair enough it can happen to anyone the process to send it off for repair was confusing and very long it took another 2 days before it was collected then after it was collected i got no confirmation that my laptop reached the company i had to email them my self ti find that out no other update was given after a week all i was told is "Your laptop has not been assigned to and Engineer" 1 week to replace a simple video card as an engineer my self i know it takes about 5 mins to replace a video card its been 1 week and 3 days and still no laptop your repair and support service is shambolic this will be the last laptop my school buys from this shoddy company
