Food is great. I had the Korean tacos and omg were they good. Service was good and the ambiance is your old school pub. Great when you're in the mood for comfort food

We ordered food for delivery. It was about $20 too expensive and it took them two hours to get here. Food was awful (the burgers were charred). Maybe they're better as an eat-in, but avoid as delivery option.

There are SO many beers to try here! The around the world in 80 beers passport is a lot of fun to fill out, as well the food is spectacular. Really chill atmosphere and the servers are always super friendly.

Very nice patio (that's where we ate) food eas most excellent and our server very nice and prompt. However the salad I chose came with a dressing I really didn't prefer I wish I would of asked for another kind of dressing.

Don't be fooled by the initial entrance, this old school pub is one the best in Calgary. The food is consistently good and inventive takes on pub fare. The wings are probably the best in town. The beer selection can't be beat, and the beer passport program they do is really fun. The staff are all excellent, especially Paige!

Place is always there for you. Never had a bad time. Bottles from all over the world. Decent draft selection. Chill ambiance. Chiller staff. Dress down. Hangout. Crush beers.

Everyone at the office looks forwards to Wednesday for the wing special here. That Korean BBQ is so good! And Jane! Jane is amazing.

Average pub, cosy feeling inside with lots of booths. Server was pleasent and decently quick. I got the green thai curry, not spicy at all but tasty. Overall good spot for a quick lunch, nothing too special.

We were there with large party in afternoon. Atmosphere was nice. Food service was sparatic. Plates coming out in no kind of order. Our two plates were not ready until everyone else was done. Had to take to go because every one leaving. Nice place but should have anticipated the volume as were were a large party of 20-30 people that reserved ahead of time.

This place is nice and laid back, they have an awesome patio in the summer and its always a blast during stampede. They have likely the best beet selection in Calgary and have been their forever. Good food too, their appetizers are all great.

A nice quiet pub. The beers are reasonably priced to begin with and happy hour of course makes them very reasonable. We had a choice of 4 sliders at $3.00 ea. They were very pretty and quite tasty. I loved the Buffalo Chicken version best myself. We tried the Natchos as well...a little pricey ...and we had to get the extra cheese to have even remotely enough cheese which made them even more expensive...definetly over priced but still on par with many DT restaurants and hotels. The Bear and the Ship still win though.. Overall Definitely worth returning to.

My favourite bar in downtown Calgary. Great wings and an amazing beer selection. Service is usually top notch. Also one of the best patios.

Angel was a dream of a server , so fun and personal. Food was great prices are decent.

Amazing selection of beer, food is pretty much always fantastic and the staff are attentive and pleasant to talk to! Pub has a great atmosphere, not too loud!

Service is horrible. Owners have no idea on how to treat their customers. I was told I had to leave because the table I was sitting at was needed for other guests.

Bottlescrews is pretty much a Calgary institution. I know people that frequent it but I just don't see why myself. They have a great selection of beer at a premium price. I know the beer passport is a big draw for a lot of people. They have a slightly more unique food menu than a typical pub. Our service is what brought down the night though...our waitress was clearly not in a good mood and was short with us. I would come back but not on my own accord.

Food was good, service was chill, and it's easy to get to. I would go again for inexpensive nachos. Though I do wish they wouldn't show Fail videos on the screen, I feel like there aren't a lot of 12 year olds going to bars.

Went here tonight with a friend and ending up leaving because we waited 15 min and didn't have one server come over... No menus... After we watched two of the servers make eye contact with us and just walk on by. Will not be back. I work at a restaurant in the city and that is not acceptable anywhere to ignore costumers... pretty sad really as this place was recommended to us and we had never been. 2 costumers lost.

No debit (most popular Canadian form of payment), but accept cash and credit. Strongly encourages people to utilize their ATM with $2 service charge to withdraw cash on their debit (personal bank will charge as well). It would make sense if they didn't accept credit, (that actually costs the business to accept) but they will easily take it, therefore I believe that their machines will easily accept debit as every other machine in Canada will and they are just scamming people into paying their ATM machine fees.

Best wings in town. Good place to pre drink or chat with friends. On days where it's not so busy it's good for a game of darts or snooker.

I recently hosted an event with BSB and everything worked out very well. I worked closely with Jane on all details and she gave great customer service. The night of went smoothly and the all my guests were happy with the serving staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful!

The best bar in downtown Calgary for sit down drinks. Hole in the wall, kinda dingy, but so much fun. Amazing patio.

Awesome location with a full reservable space for parties - they will even provide games to play! and special menus!

Outside of that, it's a good, standard bar. New patio is great as well.

One of Calgary's best pubs... superb beer selection maybe the most extensive in town with an awesome menu far above the average pub grub. Service is outstanding at BSB's... located downtown with ready access to transit and major amenities. One of my favourite places in Calgary for a quick pint or a social event.

Home of 80 beers around the world tour - best selection of import bottled beer, decent on - tap selection and good food. Service is above par as well.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon for a drink. The bar was quiet, only 2 other tables were occupied. We sat ourselves at a booth and were given menus from the bartender/waiter. Waited 15 mins waiting to order our drinks and weren t given any attention by the staff. Understandable if it was busy but barely anyone was there! We waited a few more minutes and left for another pub down the street that was packed and had great service. Won t be coming back.

Been coming here for years and love the vibe. The patio is really comfy and the staff are great. Menu could be changed up more frequently, especially for those tackling the passport challenge, as the items get boring quickly.
Will be back :)

Awesome beer list. Had the spinach salad and was impressed.
