Loved the atmosphere and staff were super friendly and helpful. Great vibes but drinks were only ok.

A great pub. Nothing fancy, but the food is delicious and reasonably priced. It can be super dark inside in one part though, they definitely need to add some lighting in the area where you first walk in.

Friendly sevice, a great beer selection and a fantsstic happy hour (if only with select drinks). Rarely disappoints.

Piri piri steak salad is wonderful!! Very friendly staff, too.

Went during happy hour after work. The sliders were great. Im not a beer drinker so a bit disappointed they didn't have a hard liquor special, but the beers are cheeper the earlier you go.

Interesting venue with many rooms. Very large selection of international beers.

Honey hot wings are AMAZING. Bartender is awesome.

The only true cask beer I know in Calgary!! Great taste and not too fizzy. However, the 16oz glasses were only about 15oz's full, hence thr 4 stars.

It's a reliable pub. Don't expect anything fancy. The kitchen is open til 1:30am though so if you're looking for food that late it's a decent option.

Do the passport. DO IT. Good food to go along with all that beer.

Great night of snacks and drinks. Those nachos were great. Bailey was attentive from the moment we walked in until last call. She was super friendly, outgoing and made us feel super welcome and comfortable. Can't wait for our next night out, especially if this is how staff treat their customers.

Bottlescrews has become a second home for my social group. Welcoming staff, and a wide array of beers has allowed us to remain in denial about our alcoholism, and even gamify it.

They have a great selection of draft and bottles. They are also the home of the beer passport! They have a decent menu as well, and they have an event area that seats around 40 people. Sometimes it's a little uncertain how fresh the stuff is that you're drinking, but that kind of goes with the territory, when you have the beer menu variety they have. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

A great place to go for a casual drink. They have a massive amount of different types of beer available. The staff are pretty knowledgeable, and can offer suggestions if you want to try something new.

This is normally my favourite pub but this evening I was not very happy with my service. My friend And I came in for one shot and when we ordered it was okay, my friend accidentally spilt hers so we requested another paid for one. We asked for a napkin to clean up our mess and and waited a while. We commented on the time and when she finally came she said you would have had better service if you would have tipped we only ordered ONE shot so I feel it s not necessary to tip and based on the service I feel it was not warranted. We tried to make a complaint but the man we approached was also unhelpful and sort of rude. We asked it he was the manager and he replied with sure . During these hard times I feel we should all be looking out for each other but I feel like the money was more important in this case. Sad to see such negativity in these hard times.

Nice pub in the Beltline of Calgary. They have one of the best beer selections in the city. The pub has undergone some renovations of late as well.

This place is dangerous with heavy swinging doors that have caused injuries. Who puts both-ways swinging heavy doors in a pub? Also staff pretends they don't see when someone gets hurt, probably worried about liability,instead of helping out.

Service is okay, and if you don't drink beer you're not gonna have much of a choice here. Prices for non beer drinks is a bit on the higher price.

Incredible beer selection at this pub, both for domestic micro-brews and imports. Had the butter-chicken, which was unique in preparation and presentation (for a pub). Overall a good experience.

Reasonably priced. I go here for the shuffleboard table and hockey on TV.

Food is pricey but it's also high quality and delicious. I have only ever ordered take out through skip and everything has always been amazing. My only complaint is PLEASE add beverages to your take out menu! Pop, juice anything! Food is awesome, I'm always impressed

A bar without debit?????
Get with the times bottlescrew bills!
Even worse when I called to voice my concern about a lack of debit I was told one would be installed in the fall but that they had an ATM (Oh boy!) and then the manager tried to justify a lack of debit because they have been established 30 years and have regulars who know the rules.
Absolute audacity, I don't care how long you've been established, you've lost two customers for life.
The food was also sub par at best.
Spend your money elsewhere, and maybe you'll have the privilege to be able to use debit!!!!

Great patio at night in the summer time. The chicken wings and spring roll bowl here are absolutely outstanding.

Some of the best wings I've had in town. Suicide is just a name but I'm showing off. Spicy Korean is also another way to go.

An incredible selection of craft beers, brewed locally and sourced from all over the world. Great food, and a warm atmosphere, with friendly and informative servers- they really know their beer! Can't wait to go back there. Highly recommend.

Beer bingo

A couple friends and I decided to go out on a Friday night in search of a patio before the end of fall. Unfortuately at the time it seemed that bottlescrew bills was in the process of renovating their patio space (closes). I did still however was able to convince my friends not to take the long journey to 17th ave in search of food. Luckily bottlescrew bills did not disappoint. I ended up ordering a Philly Steak with a poutine. I would have to say i was fairly impressed as their Philly Steak was tender and had a nice combination of peppers / meat ratio. The poutine itself was delicious and had a darker gravy (enjoyable and hearty). The prices here are fairly standard to the pub prices you see in Calgary but the quality here is better.

We went in with free appetizer coupon....ribs and wings were good....salmon not as much....a bit dry.....quinoa was inedible......

Great food, HUGE beer selection, super friendly staff. What more do you need?

Really an amazing small pub with great people great food great service and an AMAZING beer list. A must drop into location for a pint and a snack when in Calgary!!!!

Went there for a football game - booked a table ahead of time, and came in to find the table decorated in balloons in the team's colours! Server and manager were incredibly helpful and friendly. Beer selection is incredibly diverse, food is the best it's ever been there, and the ambiance... well, it's the same BSB's that it's always been. Comfortable and familiar, and still fresh and positive. We'll be back!

Great selection of international and local beers (though it seems to have dwindled lately) lets you explore new things. They have good traditional bar food (e.g. burgers, wings) to go with the beer.

Good food and lots of beer to choose from. Not as many fruity or lighter beers on draft or on happy hour but I still go here often with coworkers as it's a crowd pleaser. Wing night is great too.

A staple for beer guys, so many selections available by the bottle and worth a visit if you're downtown.

Has over 300 different beers! You can also start a passport to drink 80 beers in a year from around the world with lots of sweet prices around the world. They also have some amazing food. My favorite is the Green Thia Curry!

There is literally every beer here. Its amazing. Sit on the bar side if you come the restaurant side service is a little slower.

This pub is well located in downtown Calgary and basically a walking distance from all the other hotspots in downtown Calgary. It's got a great patio and alot of space inside the bar. The server's in all of my experience have been nice, friendly.

It's definitely a nice spot to meet up and have a few or one to touch when bar hopping. Cheers

Another pub where the food is quite good. I've heard the wings are some of the best in the city but I've had a couple of their fish dishes and was pleasantly surprised. A great selection of beer topped off by good service make this a place I will enjoy some repeat visits too.
