Relaxing place to drink.Have not ate here in forever but the beer keeps coming and the service is good.

The best beer selection in the city. Reasonably priced, friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Went with our family of 4. There was a passed out guy as their lawn ornament! Won't hold that against them. So let's just eat inside. The two tables we tried inside smelled of vomit. Ok, let's eat outside. With sun shining we could clearly see the lipstick on our glasses, after waiting a considerable time for a drink we debated still using them. We grabbed our own cutlery and the Food was mediocre at best. The bill however was reminiscent of our 5 star stay at the Paliser. Don't go with a family!

Great selection of beers and a Fantastic Butter Chicken!! Old school spot for downtown YYC but Definately has what they do nailed down, and they do it well.

Our servers here have always been top notch in both their knowledge of the beers and the menu, and in their service more generally. Great selection of beers and pretty good food. Could use more veggie options, but what they do have is worth the price.

I was actually pretty disappointed when we went in the cover bands was good it was up beat and looked like a place I would like to go again I usually don't pay attention but the prices were decent too. I got a korean bbq taco and my nephew got a hamburger. The taco sauce was 90% chili oil and was very unpleasant I ate most of one taco but could not stomach the rest the server (first one) was very nice but when she took my plate away noticed most of the plate was untouched and I mentioned the taco was not good she apologized but did not offer anything else. Then after we got our second round of drinks a new server came up (other one must have gone off shift) and she did not smile (short hair and glasses) asked us for drinks once and we sat for another 20 minutes with our table not being touched at all. I really did want to like this place the first server was nice but should have offered a comp I would have said no but it would have still been nice to have it offered. Anyways I don't think I will go back I hope they get better quality control and ensure the server transition is smooth and takes care of their customers. We were about to bring a 15 person group from another pub over but we decided to just pay and got to a different place afterwards. I really did want to like this place was very interesting at first...

Awesome craft beer selection. Delicious food. Had the butter chicken and Thai curry chicken. Both were SO good.

LOVE this bar. Great place to watch the game, great atmosphere and more beer than you can get through in a lifetime.

I always enjoyed going to this place, it's almost like a second home for us. The service is great, servers are courteous, the food are delicious and you will never run out of beer here.

Went here with a friend for drinks and appy. Service was lacking and the food was okay. Had the kale dip and the chips were VERY salty but the gross were amazing! Fantastic beer selection

Weird place. Good beer list but the outside patio is too hot (zero shade) and the inside looks like a dank dive bar. Service is so-so. Waitress rarely came by.

I miss this place so much. I used to live across the street but my life was taken away from me by a wench and now I do not live in Calgary but god damn do I ever miss the food, beer selection, staff and atmosphere. Seriously most character out of any bar in Calgary. I get sad when I think of those days.

They have over 300 beers to choose from. They do an event called "Around the World in 80 Beers". It's a quaint place, good staff, good food. I would certainly recommend this place if you have never been there before. Try "Asahi" Japanese wheat beer, simply a fantastic beer. Or the "Fruh Radler" another very tasty beer, though only 2.5%, it's a German Beer and had a citrus flavour that is quite delightful.

So many beers to choose from, plus all you can eat steak for 30 bucks on Monday and Tuesday. Try a black and tan with Strongbow and Guinness.

food quality turned out to be quite impressive! Even nachos looked like they were made there, not dumped from a family-size packed purchased in a nearby store.

Yummy food, good portions, moderate prices, cozy booths... This is a nice bar, by any means. Though as far as bars go, drinks selection was not particularly inspiring.

Not too much space available, so we were lucky to just walk in - I would say it's better to plan your arrival in advance. But it sits in a convenient location, with a huge parking lot nearby (pretty much no parking on the street though, due to all these bus stops and traffic lights - it is a corner building).

I generally liked Bottlescrew, won't hesitate to drop by again and keep enjoying the menu.

Chill place with a good vibe. I had an excellent steak sandwich which was the special of the day. They tap a new cask at 11.45am every day and have a good selection of local craft beers. I liked the Buzzard's Breath Ale - you can only get it there or next door at Buzzard's, no where else. I like that kind of exclusivity, especially when its good beer too. Knowledgable staff. I'd definitely head back there when in town.

Vodka is so watered down I've paid 6 dollars for a couple of mouthfuls of coke. Everyone on the table tried it and could taste no trace of alcohol, I could spend all my money here and pay for a sugar rush at best... shocking

Love the servers and atmosphere here. Always have a great time for a few brews here. Passport around the world in 80 beers is a nice way to try out more flavours of beers you may not know you would have liked.

Great place if you like beer, food is surprisingly good

Servers are absolutely incredible. They're great at remembering drinks and names, are knowledgeable about beer, and have healthy senses of humour. As a result, they have single-handedly turned my group of colleagues into regulars.

The beer menu is vast, varied, and reasonably priced, with a ton of local stuff. They have a good selection of weekly specials, and their butter chicken is truly phenomenal.

One more thing: The layout keeps the volume level down, so you never have to yell to be understood. A great place for chit-chat.

This place hits well above the level of what is typically thought of as "pub" food. Here, you can choose from pasta and curry dishes for a main to go with your tasty cocktail, wine or one of their many beer offerings. The atmosphere is relaxed and the catering staff are attentive when you need them to be. They'll also leave you be if space is what you need after you're set with what you ordered.

While there is no problem with the food, during my visit there was a young minority girl there for an interview. I noticed the blonde manager being unprofessional while interviewing this girl. It was obvious from her face and body language that she was not interested in this young lady. I'm sure she made the girl uncomfortable. I just cant respect a business that treats people poorly based on race.

Good specials, food was great, but service could've been improved. Did not see our server for extended period of time to the point where I had get my friend to pay for my bill so I would not be late.

First time visiting. We were a party of ~20 but our server was always available despite the volume of people. Food was quite tasty. Will be back.

Love this place! Best selection of beer in town by a long shot. If you're looking for an oddity or a great local brew this is the place. The staff know their beer and are happy to find something you'll like. The food is great too! Give it a spin.

Why do I love this Pub? SO many reasons. For one, it's right near public transit routes (which makes it convenient to get to). For another, the atmosphere and staff are welcoming. The menu has superb, tasty and diverse food items that are fairly priced for the quality (I had the Buzzard Burger with all the trimmings and fries). There was a pub exclusive Flames tickets draw (because it was game day). Last, but certainly not least, they have over 300 kinds of beer to choose from. Their drink and food specials were a superb value and allowed me to try a few new beverages without cleaning out my wallet. 10/10 would absolutely recommend to friends and family. I will certainly be visiting again, and soon. This was a great first time pub experience.

Expect excellent service, great food and probably Calgary's best selection of beer. They have everything you have and haven't heard of and aren't at all pretentious if you just want a Bud Light.

Beer list is vast. Like huge. Awesome beers from all over at a half decent price for most of them. The waitress we had was quirky and weird and fantastic.

Food is good, the beef rib ends are amazing, beer selection is quite good, plenty of interesting beers you likely won't find anywhere else. Service is usually pretty good although I've had the odd bad experience overall it's been a great place.
