Shame on you for not supporting the educators in your city. People are moving into Bossier every day to attend the schools here. We have the 2nd best schools in the state yet our teachers are some of the lowest paid in the state. Yes, it would cause businesses more in taxes but it will also cost us, the homeowners. Most of the teachers that work in this city live here therefore they will be funding their own pay raise! No one at the small companies you are working so hard to protect has to fund their pay raise. We will support companies that support our educators. Those who don't will loose more than the 24% the pay raise would cost them. 3,000 plus educators shopping elsewhere would cost far more.
