Fresh local buck-a-shuck oysters! And they were fantastic. I wanted to pitch a tent and camp out in front of the stand. Lobster was prepared perfect and there was a good live band playing. Beautiful view as well. Ample parking.

Excellent restaurant overlooking the harbor. The products are fresh and arrive from the fisherman directly to the restaurant without intermediary. You can see the lobster traps, the catch of the day, while eating. Products can not be cooler. Very good value for money. There is the choice of lobsters to cook, lobsters rolls etc ... I highly recommend this establishment. This restaurant is worth a visit. Excellent.

Great location with beautiful views of the bay / harbor. You choose your own lobster in the tank and then just wait. They also have a nice bar, with good beer for your food. The lobster was steamed perfectly, not too little and not too much. Reasonable prices, and if you are not into lobster there is also a more regular menu card, but do not know what they have on this.

Currently sitting on their deck wishing I hadn t just spent $45 on a meal. Not a seafood guy but they had a lot of other options so me and my gf stopped by. My steak and cheese was literally falling apart when I got it, I couldn t set it down without everything falling out. To add insult to injury the hot dog bun they used for bread was soggy and overall unappealing. My gfs BLT has almost no bacon and one giant piece of tomato. Overpriced, not great, definitely would NOT recommend

Fried clams and onion rings were mediocre at best. Long lines for drinks. The woman at the bar really didn't want to be at work, going through the motions. Band played good music but way too loud

On the dock, very typical.

We choose his lobster or lobsters and wait for him to cook them. Succulent and cheap with views of harbor and islands

Hey that's what a visit to this area is all about! Coming to Boothbay Harbor a costal town is all about great sea food and enjoying it while looking over the fantastic setting.

There is little skill in cooking a lobster. But enjoying that lobster with some wine and a beer looking over the bay makes for an enjoyable experience.

The location is great. Lots of parking. The food is good. If in the area, try it. You will love it.

Love our visits to Boothbay Harbor just so we can have our lobsters in the rough. The BB Lobster Wharf is the best. Watched the boats coming and unloading their day's catch. Friendly staff and beautiful setting.

This is the place to go in the area if you want to get good lobsters at a reasonable price. But for the best price, don't go up to the counters; take a right as soon as you get onto the dock, and go through the door a few steps down (just past the big indoor lobster tanks). They'll sell you live lobsters and cook them for you right there, if you want.

If you're not into lobsters (like me), you can get hamburgers and hot dogs and side dishes at the counter in the building to the left - you can't miss it. They're not bad.

Don't forget to walk around the dock building. The view of the bay is spectacular, particularly at sunset!

4 stars... only because the place was packed and it was raining. We got soaked waiting to get a seat on the inside. Outside of that, place was awesome. Food was great, from landlover stuff to fresh lobster, nothing disappointed.

Meh.

Holy smokes. The best lobster I've ever had, hands down. I was blown away, got the softshell lobster, Cole slaw, corn and clam chowder. It was just so dang good. Excuse the French. The band set the mood for a good time and they also had dollar oysters. If you ain't stopping here, you ain't been to this part of Maine.

Great happy hour deal on oysters Friday evenings. Home cut fries were delicious and fried fish tasted fresh. Other sides were less special. Customers and some staff were not all wearing masks while walking around. They should be reminded of the rules.

Great food and great location! Only giving 4 stars because figuring out the ordering/seating situation is a little confusing and the price is a bit high. Definitely enjoyed the view and the food was absolutely fantastic.

COVID-19 sensitive dining with a beautiful view of Boothbay Harbor. Excellent fried clams, steamed mussels, and lobster rolls. A bit pricey but still worth the price for a Maine "experience."

The lobster rolls here are quite expensive but actually pretty good value as they are super tasty and contain a LOT of lobster. Easily big enough to share. You can also get a good beer here and enjoy the views.

Overall very enjoyable shack dinner on picnic tables. Sunset over harbor was amazing.

Liked: lobster rolls, harbor sunset view, live band, drink of the day, sweet potato fries, pretty easy seating on peak Saturday, draft beer selection, in-town location.

Ok: fried clams dinner plate, barely available parking.

Didn t like: two lines for dinner vs bar, no unsweetened iced tea, bus your own trash.
