Wow it was awesome crab roll lobster roll was overflowing
One of the few remaining really good Down East lobster wharf style old fashion dining experiences. Like all of them now a days, they are a bit on the expensive side, but still an excellent experience.
Straight off the boat lobsters steamed to perfection. Great steamed clams and corn on the cob. Fried food also available and also has a liquor liicense.
I had two here two nights in a row the Lobster was excellent and there was live music one night.
One of the two best lobster rolls we had (Red's was the other) while in Maine...truly an obscene amount of lobster on this roll.
Reasonably priced meals, allows dogs on the deck area.
The lobster roll was fully loaded, lobster mac and cheese is homemade and delicious. And of course the steamed lobster was excellent.
Despite it being crowded, it was a fun place to eat and having the water next to us was nice. Definitely a great place to eat. :)
Been going here for Maine Seafood for many, many years. Great food, great views, and so nostalgic!
Great view, good food... even the normal sized lobster roll was overstuffed with huge pieces of lobster meat!
Food is always great there great view nice people going back tomorrow
Nice to sit on the dock and have lunch watching a boat come in with it's catch.
The best rum punch in town and the fish tacos are amazing
Delicious! I love how you can pick your lobster right out of the tank! Indoor and outdoor seating! Bathrooms are decent too!
Very average. Nothing special, I had lobster ravioli and it was frozen.
This is the place. Great Lobster, Steamers and best of all fresh local shucked Glidden Point Oysters at a Buck a Shuck after 5:30 PM. (I have to LOL because someone said Gulf were better...... Well Grain Fed Western Beef is also better out West..... you can not compare what is local to stuff found far away! Life does not work that way. This is not a place where you will be seated - seat yourself! It is self service when it comes to food. Bring Cash and things move along faster. Be prepared to eat and enjoy seafood! This is not a place for fine dining and the only reason there are other items on the menu is to satisfy the non seafood eaters.
Great view of the harbor, live music and best prices on Oysters found anywhere! Great beers on tap....... come as you are, enjoy and even bringing along the pets on leases did not bother anyone.
I have to laugh about people who complain about service - this is a Do It Yourself place - no waiters of waitress to tip. You retrieve your own napkins, plastic ware and wetnaps. Great place to enjoy Lobster highly recommended!!
great view of the harbor, lots of fresh maine seafood to choose from, live bands and a full bar.
Awsome place! Workers there have a great attitude and are very friendly! This place is a must go to if your in Boothbay. Prices of food is actually not that bad. Places more inland are way higher.
Being going here for years. Place to go for a lobster dinner
Steamed clams were cook perfect , tender .oyster on a half shell were a buck each.
Great place and great food when I move to Boothbay I'll be down there all the time.
So fresh, and so delicious! Had the lobster roll which was outstanding. Little more expensive than a lot of places, but also had about 3x the meat so it was totally worth it!
This place is a disaster...the bartender is a mess the food is forgettable....move on...move on..everyone can fry fish.
Pitcher of Mudslides takes the edge off from the heat
The wait staff was very helpful and the people were friendly oh, and the food was delicious!
it's so maine it's so tasty it's so what your looking for do it
Touristy. Has a full bar on the water which is nice. Food, including lobster roll was just ok.
Rude person taking orders, over priced food and not that great. Didn't put in order of friend with us she had to check on it.
Had a salmon wrap. Delicious! Loved sitting by the water.
The food was fresh and fast, I really liked their tarter sauce. Beautiful views from the deck
The lobster roll here was fabulous! And it had great views sitting on the dock.
Nice little roadside place. Cold beer. Fresh food. Reasonable prices. Sit right on the waterside deck
Incredible setting, lots of options, delicious lobster rolls.
Amazing food, no table service. Beautiful views overlooking boothbay.
If you are looking for a real Maine experience look no further...The Absolute best place for fresh lobster dinners!! So many other delicious options and the fish tacos are so so good!! There's also steak tip or burgers for those that don't care for the seafood...A full Bar with some great local brews and even a live band on weekends! It dosen't get any better than this! It's a local favorite!
Vera & i enjoyed lobster each fall there for 25yrs.
Was ok lobsters were a bit over cooked steamers needed more rinsing very gritty
Great food here! Have been coming to this place for years!! Can't wait to go back!
Love this place. Freshest seafood anywhere and the prices are great!
Twin lobsters were cooked to perfection. Potato salad and Cole slaw were excellent. Will be back!
Lobster in the rough with a beautiful view. Reasonable prices. The freshest fish.
Food was ok but not great. Casual laid back with lots of picnic tables outside and a few inside. Good cocktails, friendly staff. Fun to visit but probably won t be back.
For lovers of Lobster it really is a paradise where to get dirty very well. What a satisfaction!
My daughter and I enjoyed the twin lobster dinner here last Saturday.
Sat outside on deck had lunch at picnic table listened to band playing easy music not too loud and great music, food was very good, was with my Dad who was 81 at the time and he really enjoyed himself also was a great memory, absolutely would recommend
We stopped in to fuel up our boat. Easy access and good price.
Rude rude rude. Every staff person we encountered had a snarky, how dare you attitude when asked for anything. Lobsters were meh, other offerings are mostly breaded and fried. Nothing exclaimed freshness. Save yourself the walk across the harbor.
If you like lobster and sitting by the bay don't miss this place
Fantastic fresh lobster and friendly people. What more can you ask for ?
They say if you want good sea food you have to go to a place that primarily serves it and boy were they right. Took a trip to Maine with my squad and we went to the lobster wharf multiple times, and each time we were satisfied, the food is incredible! Would rate more than 5 stars if I could.
The staff and bartender were great, the food not so much.
The 2 lobsters were over done and pricey. The steamers were way too sandy(and pricey). They would have benefitted from a sea water purge. The haddock sandwich was OK, but from the best I've had.
The view was great, but it didn't make up for the food.
Firstly, I did not eat or grab drinks here to know what the service of food was like. My girlfriend and I bought fresh lobsters from the market located to the north of the bar. While very fresh, I feel like the pricing for the fresh lobster was a little misleading and almost a hustle. The prices are not very clear and you end up paying a lot more than the signs suggest. I plan on going elsewhere for the simple reason I felt took when I left.
The $25 lobster roll was on a hotdog bun, the clam chowder was cold and more like potato chowder. We told them the chowder was cold, so they MICROWAVED it! The shrimp dinner was NOT Maine shrimp, it was more like the tiny frozen shrimp you get in the frozen aisle. The only positive was the setting. DEFINITELY not the Boothbay Harbor meal I expected. Too bad my $77 for two people was such a disappointment.
Great place with relaxt vibe and good food! Lovely spot overlooking the harbor. Highly recommended!
Excellent with Jason.Guimond
Beautiful Country Music
I have been there two years in a row I will be back in 2019
Expensive but with the walk away from the main part of town to avoid the riff-raff.
the place was quaint and we sat at the second story level overlooking the bay fantastic views. The food was excellent and well priced! It was very delightful, as you went from one window to another to get your main meals your condiments in your desserts and is all outside very wonderful experience!
It's a little pricey but we had a great time. Food was really good.
Great seafood right from the ocean. Pleasant outdoor seating on the water. Quality draft beer selection from local breweries.
