Bogart's Restaurant Review

Amazing meal and great service. We showed up just before 9 which is closing. They seated us quickly and treated us graciously.

Our waitress tonight was amazing. We just moved to the area and were able to find a lyft/uber to drive us to Bogarts. However we were unsuccessful finding a ride back to our hotel. Our waitress was able to find us a ride and we are so very grateful.

Classic steakhouse!!! Great specials, expertly cooked steaks!!!

You receive a lot of food so I understand the prices. Everyone was nice and the food was amazing.

Food was great and came out fast, service in the other hand not so great. The older lady we had never told us her name, did not bother making eye contact with me at all and I am the one who pick up the check, left a 5.00$ tip mainly for the food not the service.

Great local spot from burgers to steaks. It gets busy get there for a early dinner.

Oh wow! It was great , food and service. Try the Bogie Salad lots of meat. Cucumber and tomatoes , it was delicious. I recommend this place.

This is a longtime local favorite that is busy throughout their open hours. This night we sat at the bar because of the wait time to get a table. The building has some age on it now and the dark ambiance hasn't changed much through the years. This night, I had an excellent South of the Border (SOB) burger and seasoned fries. Both were excellent. The SOB burger made my head sweat so be ready for some heat. The bartender was pleasant, attentive, and very, very busy.

It had been a while since we had been to Bogart's, but the food was cooked well and our waitress was wonderful.

My wife and I were in the area for a few days enjoyijg some relaxing time, and for a nice dinner chose Bogarts, and we were glad we did! Catherine, our waitress, was amazing, and very knowledgeable in the menu items for special dietary needs. The meal was wonderful, especially during this tough time on the restaurant community.
Our only request would be that the butter is changed, from a butter and margarine mix to a split butter and margarine separate aspect. This would allow certain dietary needs to really enjoy all foor aspect Bogart's offers!

We went in a bit late. Service was great. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Food choices were great. Prices were affordable. The food quality was decent. Portion sizes were appropriate per the price. We did both have overcooked steaks but we didn't want to wait for them to be sorted so we just ate them. The steak also could have used seasoning and/or a compound butter for more flavor. The rest of our food was good. We traveled from out of state and went after a day of strenuous hiking so a good cooked meal in a friendly atmosphere was most appreciated. We were glad we stopped. Thanks!

Best ribeye in town. Especially cooked Pittsburgh style medium rare. Uumm good !!

Love the dark intimate setting of this place. We always sit upstairs away from kitchen and bar. Amazing food!!!

The waiter Alex was great! Food was excellent, prepared and served at correct tempreture. Reasonably priced for the quantity and quality of the food. Will definitely be going back!

Getting carryout today, Sunday 13th August 2017, 2 burgers and a Philly steak for Honey Honey Honey. Food is always great, and carryout is packed well and tasted great at home too, and for those of you who get a lot of carryout, that isn't an easy feat. Just because a restaurant has good food, doesn't mean it carrys out well, Bogart's is equally as good at home. Thanks guys and gals of Bogart's. MM

Food was really good. We got the special which was Ribeye and it was cooked perfect medium. The service was spot on from Rychel. The place was busy but no one seemed to mind the wait due to 50% seating. Looking forward to a return visit as soon as things get back to the new normal.

Wait staff was excellent, food prep not up to par. Needs some real work for a higher score.

Seems like a Sysco joint but with some unique combinations. Not a must have but not something to shy away from either

Been here a few times now while going on trips to the Waynesville area, each time has been great! Southern comfort food and generous portions. Staff are also very friendly!

Service is usually slow and the last few steaks I've ordered have been overcooked. Order medium and get well-done. I don't like sending food back because you never know what will happen.

This place never ceases to amaze me. Customer service on point. Food has always been very good. This last time I was not impressed with the potato soup tasted like it had canned potatoes in it and the consistency was bad. The chili though was perfect though. Overall expect a wonderful meal.

Great steaks and burgers and service . My only complaint and I hope ownership reads it. Please do something about the cob webs . I had one over my head that was blowing with the air and I kept expecting it to land on our table in the food which got me looking around and they were everywhere. This is a great local place a friend turned us onto that works in waynesville and that was my only knock on it.

Never had a bad experience. Decent beers on tap. Great entrees. Always great service. Dim comfortable atmosphere.

Best stakes in Western North Carolina, the home fries and okra are second to none. Our waitress was fast and efficient, she kept our drinks full.
Bogart's is a bit pricy, but the food is off the chart. I wish they wouldn't serve alcohol. The bar side is loud and uncomfortable. Upstairs is the best place to eat.
Will defiantly be back.

Bogart's is very consistent with the quality of food they provide. The food is reasonably priced and always delicious. Their steaks are very tender and again incredibly low priced compared to nearby restaurants. Try their baked potato and/or their famous sweet potato. They're very large and tasty. Everything we've had there has been great. Try it and decide for yourself!

I was really disappointed...I read the reviews and expected more I guess. After waiting half an hour for a seat the 4 of us went and none of us liked our food. The corn nuggets and broccoli bites were ok. But the steaks were dry and had absolutely no taste .The sweet potatoes tasted pretty bad too. The salad was ok and the bread. But I'm saying don't go in expecting much but big prices... I will say the service was good and the food came out fast just should have had better flavor.

Food was awesome and atmosphere was great. The staff here is very accommodating and super friendly. My kids loved their pasta dish and the Philly sandwich was very tasty. I def recommend getting the fried pickles!

This place was amazing. The steak was soo good. The waiter was great and the atmosphere was perfect. I would go here again. We went here for our anniversary.
