Bodos always looks crowded, but there always fast. Food is not expensive but quality is excellent

Love Bodos! Veggie cream cheese is the best. But there are so many great sandwich options! Pastrami, yum.... Salami, Mmmm.. pesto, great...!

Super cheap and quick, even during rush hour. And really really good, plus it s nice to always see someone I know working there :) make sure to try the Lox and Cream cheese, or the Honey Butter for dessert.

The Bagel's are soooooooo good, as well as, the price is always fair. Today I payed only 6 dollars for 3 items which would cost around 10 or 13 in other breakfast related restaurants.

Bodo's is my favorite bagel place to go. Love their turkey sandwiches and tabouli, workers polite, great prices. Can get sprouts, tomato, onion, horseradish and many other toppings. Some toppings are a little extra. Only problem is there's no Bodos in Hampton Roads area. LOVE Bodo's!!!

The bagels were awesome. I had a locally made veggie burger on a cinammon raisin bagel. It tasted like NYC bagels.

They gave me a everything bagel when I said garlic not to mention they added tomato which I didn t ask for and didn t add the mayonnaise so I went back and they still messed my order up didn t put the mayonnaise still and left out lettuce. I m very disappointed!

Authentic Charlottesville excellence. They are trying sooo hard to serve Cville patrons and employees alike during these dark times. They handle high volumes safely and efficiently. And of course, the bagels are superb.

My favorite place to eat in C'ville. Fantastic quality food and endless options, at an affordable price.

The bagels are about as good as you can get it the area. They make a breakfast sandwich called a deli-egg. It s basically a fried egg with some kind of chopped deli meat and cheese. Absolutely delicious.

Price was good. Portions were small. Buy double what you might usually get. The price will still be good.

Bodo's is the quintessential "local breakfast spot" for Charlottesville. The great thing is that there are numerous locations throughout Albermarle county!

Bodo's is known for their delicious breakfast sandwiches and piping hot coffee. They also have great sandwiches for lunch with a mix of meats and cheeses as well. Be it the beauty of simplicity or simple the fact that it's delicious, but my favorite thing to get is a fresh bagel with some of their homemade herb cream cheese. The bagels are made fresh daily so you won't even need them toasted! Staff is always adequate for the demand and they are more than capable to answer any questions you might have. They don't mind pointing you in the right direction if you need any recommendations either

Every Bodo's location is great. The bagels are fantastic and always very good. It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Charlottesville. The egg bagels are extremely good!

Bodo's has delicious food at a good price. My biggest problem with them is that their bagels are not the highest quality that you expect when going into a bagel shop. They're very dense and a bit under salted. This is to make up for their cream cheese which is a bit over salted. (Mind you, they're still delicious, just not a perfect bagel) I will say though that their Caesar salad is amazing. They have bagel croutons and delicious dressing.

Definite landmark of Charlottesville and for good reason. It's always packed but they move quickly and efficiently, don't let the lines fool you or deter you. Bagels are fresh and great combo selections....... For non carb people great salads. You won't regret the stop, so worth it.

I was pretty excited to try out Bodo's due to the high ratings. (4.8 at the time of this writing). The line was wrapped around 3 rows deep and to the door but I don't think I had to wait more than say 6 minutes to have my order taken and another 5 to receive my food. Very friendly and amazingly quick service. That said, I was not impressed with the bagels or the cream cheese. All were fresh but lacking in flavor. The cream cheese seems like Philadelphia cream cheese mixed with whatever the particular flavor is. The meats had good taste and the produce was fresh as well. It wasn't a bad experience but I've had amazing bagels and cream cheese's from other places that made Bodo's rank pretty low on the list for me.

This place is a well-oiled machine! We were initially intimidated by the long line out the door, but it moved very quickly. Being from up North, I have to admit it isn't quite as good as a NY bagel, but it is still VERY good!

A C-ville staple. Jalapeno lime cream cheese is my favorite.

Fist local place is always a hit the bagels are fantastic the prices are very reasonable and the service is fast even though it has a crazy long line. Highly recommend coming here anytime. If the line seems long don't worry it goes very very quick usually there are lots of college students there even in the summer

Big lines but they handle the traffic as best they can. The food is always fantastic and worth the wait!

Been eating here regularly for many years. Fresh delicious food and excellent service every time I stop in. Try the chicken salad on an everything bagel. You won't be disappointed. Good job guys

Respect to how quickly orders are put together, the team works very smoothly. Price is fair, although the bagel itself was just ok, little more chewy that I'd like. I would go back and visit but wouldn't turn it into a weekly habit.

We got there at lunch time. There was a long line but the service was fast. In the 35 minutes we were there the line stayed the same but no one waited more than a few minutes. Very fast and efficient. Even with the large volume of people the place looked clean and the condiments,napkins and utensils were well stocked . I will definitely visit again.

Due to the good reputation we want to have breakfast at Bodos Bagels ... However, when we were in the unloving and totally overcrowded old shop and saw the map, we left immediately. It was freaky and filled with more and more. That's not our thing. Sorry!

I love this place! I have only been able to find them in Charlottesville and they have the best bagels outside NYC!

A great place to go at a reasonable price for well over a decade. Always have a large assortment of freshly baked bagels to choose from for your sandwich. Usually packed, yet they keep the line moving!

New york style bagels that are amazing!! I heard really great things prior to eating here, and it lived up to the expectation!

This C-ville secret is amazing and efficient. Even when the line extends outside they are quick. Might be a little loud if you plan to dine in during a rush but the food is worth it. Wish this restaurant existed in Richmond and elsewhere. Panera, Einsteins, other bagel places don't even come close.

Never, never, never get within 30 miles of this place without going. Bodo's makes New York-style water bagels and they're AWESOME. I'm incapable of getting only one per visit. Chewy and warm and delicious - I'm obsessed!

Being a true New Yorker I can't give it five stars, call me biased but these are not true New York bagels. That being said I feel like the prices are a bit steep for a bacon and egg on a bagel. I paid more here for a cup of coffee and sandwich when I pay half of that in NY. Not to mention NY bagel sandwiches taste better. Now one thing I give them is that the staff is prompt and efficient and very nice (unlike ock....only New Yorkers will understand). The restaurant is clean and located in a high traffic area.

Was crowded on the Sunday we visited so that's a good sign! The sandwiches did not disappoint and the bagels were great!

Food is fresh and prepared to order. It gets ridiculously busy at lunch time, which is surprising because the menu is straightforward. Lots of choices for bagels, salads, and toppings, but at the end of the day, you're still paying $10 plus for lunch or breakfast. Cleo salad with turkey... The turkey was cubed, not deli style. It's OK.

The staff are quick to serve and look to genuinely be enjoying their job. Fantastic bagels, and I highly suggest using the add-ons such as kalamata spread, sprouts, and Muenster cheese! Enjoy : )

Best bagels ever and some pretty good sandwhiches. Would be 5 stars but recently went with my f2f and her meal got messed up twice

It's air that has been shown a picture of a produce department... Please return the cream cheese people...

Even with the new outdoors ordering system, and how busy they are, Bodos continues to be efficient and speedy. Their associates are top notch. Great job!
