Always a great experience. The food is amazing. It's always better at the homestead. Rio Grande College is across the street, the Ohio River in Gallapolis is close by and it is a beautiful town with a gorgeous park right downtown along the river. At the restaurant is the main home of Bob and it has been turned into a museum about him. The first floor is all about Bob and the empire that he created. The second floor is changed every year to something Historical from the area. It is all free!!!

Had a great experience here. The food was delicious (as expected)... the parmesan grilled chicken with broccoli was particularly tasty. Good sweet tea too. I also loved the peanut butter cookies with Reese's Pieces which we took home. This location is also fun because it is next to the Bob Evans historical site, with the museum and surrounding farmland.

It was nice visiting the Homestead. Would have been alot more cooler if we could of went in the house. But it was locked up. The sign said open May 1st all the way through Oct. 31st. But it wasn't. That's alright though. Still a pretty cool place to visit...

This restaurant down on the farm in Rio Grande was nice and clean. The service and all of the employees were terrific! The food was hot and tasted great. No wait to be seated. Waitress was quick to take our drink order and to take our food order. We received our order in a very timely manner.

Love the place. Very friendly staff. Knowledgable about the farm history. One server even put together a good read about it's history available to read while you wait for your older. Food is great.

It was terrible!! Breakfast was cold and overcooked. Sunday about 8:00. One cook..5 servers...no patrons and it still took over 20 minutes to get an egg, and a biscuit. Service was terrible too!

We recently purchased a banana nut bread to go. We hadn t bought one since Christmas time. We were shocked and disappointed when we got home with it and opened it. The container is deceiving; it looks like a big loaf as usual, but what they have changed is the container. The bread sets on a platform that gives the appearance of being normal size as usual but it isn t. You also pay the same price. Shame on you for advertising down on the farm . When you are misleading us!

The original Bob Evans Farm is a beautiful location in southeastern Ohio and has a museum, log village, clean operating restaurant and museum. There is a walking trail so. A nice way to spend a family day, with great food. Bob Evans is buried just 15 minutes away. The area is picturesque and just a short distance off the highway. Cool windmill across the street.

Always a nice environment. A bit chilly in there, but not bad. The coffee cups had that white line from where water has dried on them. That would have been nice to have clean, but we don't drink coffee anyway.

The location itself is interesting historically. The original house is now a museum and is cool to walk through. The service at the restaurant leaves much to be desired. Slow to take order, slow to receive order. And then, the food was lukewarm and not hot. Who wants to have lukewarm breakfast? Coffee was terrible, it's so weak that it's like drinking dirty water. Flies are buzzing around too. It's a disappointment and not what I expected, especially for this important location.

Stopped here for breakfast on a long road trip. I told them I was in a hurry because I still had 7 hours of driving. They got our food order in right away and got us out in no time. The food was good and the farm around it was beautiful.

Great food which is typical of Bob Evans restaurants across the board. The service on the other hand was unmatched. Even though we are not from this area, the staff, from the moment you walk in the door makes you feel like you are one of their neighbors that they haven't seen in awhile! Hands down the friendliest and I would recommend to anyone. The grounds and homestead are beautiful!!

Enjoyed my second trip to visit the Bob Evans farm and establishment. The staff team was very courteous and attentive to the patrons needs today. The food was very tasty as usual and the buscuits were fresh. I Definitely recommend you visit the farm at some point to get an understanding of the history behind the legend! :)

For where it all started it turned out to be disappointing. None of the exhibits were open. Won't be until May 1st. The restaurant was open and larger than most. The food wasn't nothing to shout about. Just standard fare. The manager did stop by and chat. The gift shop was very small and lacked anything worth mentioning. I may have had a different opinion if the exhibits were open. Sure not going to head back this way to find out.
