Bob Evans Review

We come annually on our trip to the coast. Never had a disappointment. Great place to stop, eat, and stretch your legs.

Its alright, mostly standard. I do like the little shop they have when you first walk in. Even if the items are kind of over-priced.

The heart of bob Evans don't seem like it when you have the old school seniority employees, the younger waitress way friendlier and smile, others like another day another dollar. And faces as if here I go again hit and miss days honestly doesn't being nice and happy towards customers isn't very hard

Lovely BE. Great service, and all the Bob Evans goodies we enjoy so much.

It was the worse service and food ever... there was 5 of us we didn't get our food together. ... didn't get refills....asked what came on a cheeseburger with everything. .. everything consist of cheese... small piece of onion and tomato... no lettuce or any condiments. Asked what kind of appetizers they have. . the waitress said we have apple pie! The whole experience was bad!

Wasn't in the door for 3sec before being greeted by multiple staff members. The temperature was good in the building, our server was at the tableb asking about our drinks as soon as we sat down . After looking at the menu, as soon as my wife and myself closed them the server was there to take our order. It seemed liked as soon as she put the order in, it was back at our table in no time. Being a lover of shoveling food in my face, I couldn't here all the food was hot and delightful. Which brings us back to the temperature, normally it's so cold in places your food cools to fast. Ours was still warm when we put it in the Togo box. Great place good time.

It's just not the same after the tearing down of the original building. The food, experience and ambiance have all taken a dive in the last few years.

Roasted chicken is out of this world, and the portions were very large. You won't go away hungry!

It sucked took over an hour for service than crepes made wrong not happy

I thought the food was excellent here, I just don t see how they make any money with all the food that they put on your plate. The turkey was better than my own home cooked turkey. I will stop every time I m in the area. Also was my first stop at a Bob Evans restaurant. Loved it.

Always LOVE this location, the wait staff is always wonderful and inviting and the food is great! Every time our family leaves to go home we come here for dinner and enjoy it every time!

Love the food and service, the festival cost of entrance is reasonable but prices of food boothes and souvenirs are outrageous

Nice little Bob Evans location. There is a seasonal museum on site and a good sized farm.

The original Bob Evans right down on the Farm! Quaint little restaurant, not the same as the franchised ones. Service was delightful, and we could the Bob Evens farm from the window.

Great tasting food. Was just sorry their whole grain pancakes missed the mark. But the whole experience there was great.

Truly the very best ever. We thought being right here at the Homestead that it would be the best and it was even better than that. We will travel here again.

Food good older staff retirees leave new younger staff who don't understand the art of good service.

It was the original Bob Evans in Rio Grande.The food was good but the service left a lot to be desired.

Nice food but they did forget my wives broccoli and brought her green beans but they did bring it a little later other than that food was excellent

Right off the road and not to far from the interstate for easy access to and from,we're locals so no biggie for us either way. Large portion of food for the price. Highly recommended we'll be back for sure.

This is the location in Rio Grande next door to the original Bob Evans Farm. The dining room was nice and the service was what we've grown to expect from BE staff. If you enjoy this type of dining experience then you would likely be happy with the Rio Grande Bob Evans.

I used to work at the original building a long time ago. Was better when they had the deer, and the silo of Goldfish

The food is excellent our waitress Cathy C. Gave us fantastic service wish I could rate yall a 10.My Mom has a form of Parkinson so it takes time to get her words out. Your waitress was so patient with my mom and her order.

I had high expectations for the OG Bobs. Service was miserable--but the manager paid our bill which was a nice touch.

Came here for breakfast and lunch in same day. Excellent food and options available. Service was great too!

Had a very good and friendly waitress. Breakfast was good but quite salty. Didn't care for the hash browns or home fries. The grounds were pretty and well-kept.

Basic breakfast food and diner food. Not as great as it used to be but still a decent place to eat.

Not as good as it once was,but still better than the Jackson Bob Evans, and Di is the best server.

Down on the Farm. Waitresses & waiters ate very friendly. Food isn't quite what it used to be, but they still make a mean Wildfire Chicken Salad!

Rio Grande, Ohio is home to the actual Bob Evan's Farm and the original Bob Evan's restaurant--great food and service.

My rating isn't based on actually enjoying the food because I never did have a taste for this place but since my family likes it we have went a few times. Staff sends pleasant & it has always looked clean.

This is Bob EvansHomesite, and I promised myself I would stop here and have breakfast. The food was very good I got a ham sandwich with a Hollandaise sauce on it which drives from there eggs benedict plate that's no longer available. The waitresses were extremely friendly and helpful and I'm leaving the manager actually brought out a to go soft drink for me to take with me and I enjoyed that immensely that she would go to that trouble. Apparently they're having a farm fest August 11th, 12th, and 13th,I saw a lot of their customers very happy with the meals on the service and I recommend this if you get a chance to get down to the Gallapolis Ohio area. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you're going through.
