Great food, great service. Convenient location--easy on and off the highway.
Great place to eat and visit with friends.
Server was Beverly. She's the best.
The food was good at Bob Evans in Gallipolis, Ohio.
One of the best BE stores i've seen. Kind of a flagship store. Excellent all around.
We ate at the Bob Evans # 11, Upper River Rd. The restaurant was very clean, and the server, Lisa was friendly, efficient, and she made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious.
Waitress and food was good. Only reason I didn't give five stars is I was there for breakfast and no place on the menu was there a breakfast sandwich. All I wanted was a bacon and egg on toast sandwich. I even ask the server.
I love Bob Evans but this time it was just an okay experience
Fresh food, great service, chef is awesome, free WiFi, couldn't ask for better.
The food was good as well as the service. Great for families with kids of all ages.
Food is usually superb, however, we encountered a "small" problem with our visit. Our daughter order the lighter version of turkey with dressing and received a miniscule amount of turkey, probably an ounce at best. Our waitress was questioned, but said this was normal. I don't think so. Everything else was great.
Our service was great there was 8 in our party , our waitress did a fantastic job.
Hostess was smiling and approachable. Our waitress was courteous, friendly and kept us in drinks throughout the meal. Overall I would DEFINITELY eat there again!!!
In an effort to support local business, I placed a $75 online order yesterday for Easter dinner and coincidentally my husband s birthday today. I was to pick up the order at 11:30. Fifteen minutes into my trip there, (5 minutes before pickup time), I receive a phone call telling me my order would not be able to be filled due to they ran out of food.
This is a fantastic place to stop in and have a bite to eat. The food was great and it came very fast. The location was also great because it was just off the highway. The waiters were very nice and polite and did a great job at serving the food.
Didn't have enough help today
The other waitress had to do double tables didn't see a.manager
Wasn't a fan of the jar glass cups, but pancakes & sausage gravy were superb
Hot chocolate was very thin , second cup was a little better. Handicap parking needs cleaned on sidewalks.
Food was cold on some of it and they push u out the door if it closing time
Seems like Bob Evans is the only place my dad likes to eat, but I guess that isn't necessarily a bad thing. We stopped here after spending the day in Point Pleasant for the Mothman Festival and it was good food as always. We've been to this location numerous times throughout the years. I got the pot pie and have absolutely no complaints. I also like how they cut out the little heart in the crust - it's a nice touch.
Great meal and service. It is always comfort food and they serve breakfast 24 hours a day.
My husband and I have gone to numerous restaurants during this pandemic. We have been spaced far apart from other tables and felt safe. Tonight at this Bob Evans we were crammed in a corner and every table was seated in this area. There was no social distance at all. We were very disappointed in our experience.
Sometimes you find a place that just makes you feel like home, and if home was a Reese s peanut butter pie then this place is for you.
Well ... generally the Gallipolis Bob Evans isn't too bad... i did order a roast beef thing in an iron skillet with mashed potatoes (instead of hash browns) with an egg .. but the skillet was pretty cold ... (i was sure it was sucking the heat out of the food). Over all though, I still like Bob Evans, but they do need to pay attention to temperature of the serving dishes...
Super Fantastic food and service! Especially the friendly and helpful carry-out girl Madeleine!
Truly a great experience from the timing to the atmosphere and everything in between.
The food was excellent when we visited. The bread was hot and fresh.
Seems to have a different menu than the ones in my home area
Horrible service this morning ...the hostess was very rude and flung menus on the table and rushed off. Food was partly uncooked. The last visit the waitress was more concerned with talking to a male at the counter than checking on tables and giving refills. Its really disappointing because the food is usually great.
My waitress was awesome food was pretty good asked for onions on my scrambled eggs and they forgot so she got me some 5 minutes later just for my eggs to be cold... went to pay my bill was asked how everything was and stated eggs were cold and wasn't offered anything but an apology wont return...
Very friendly staff acted as a team helping each other meet the customers needs.
Very expensive meal.
No real butter or maple syrup. I should have gone next door to Golden Corral.
The food is okay by today's standards but, I grew up when you would see Bob and occasionally Jewel at the farm restaurant in Rio Grand. I don't think that either one would approve of what the restaurant chain has become. Not to much has remained of what they started back then, and that is a shame.
Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the food it is just not what I grew up waiting for the next occasion that I got to go out to the farm to get great food.
I love my grandma. We went for lunch two days in a row. Bob's is a family favorite. Has been for years.
I loovee bob evans from the breakfast..lunch and dinner! Favv right now be the bacon cheeseburger, mayo, lettuce n tomatoe with fries n maybe a small salad lol! (:
Very friendly and willing to and pleased to serve you
Barely saw our waitress. Food was cold. Didn't sit us 6ft apart from 2 other parties dining.
Bob Evan's down on the farm Mmmmm. What more needs to be said
I actually worked at the one in Rio formerly and there are some practices that are a little bit of sketchy behind the scenes and it's pretty expensive to eat here for relatively small portion so as its problems but overall the food is delicious for the most part and the atmosphere is nice so I'm going to go ahead and give him the extra star just for that
Quality, good variety & service, this is my breakfast go to restaurant.
Visited on a recent trip and was not disappointed. The waitress was so sweet and friendly! She was great and offered a lot of input on menu items as well. Food was very good, especially after a long drive from Michigan. Had the new honey chicken - def delicious.
Absolutely awesome sausage and gravy. Friendly and efficient service too.
Good food but don't go within an hour of closing or you won't get as good of service. Our waitress forgot about us several times even though there weren't that many people in there at that time. Overall Bob Evans is a good place to eat with family and friends.
